My mom texted me and asked me for her xmas present early. She wanted to see Elf the musical. I asked if I could just buy her the tickets or if I had to go. My presence was requested. Now that it's over I'm glad I went. There is a small town you come through but other than that doesn't seem like there is much around. The area looked beautiful driving through on this fine fall day. When you pull up you might be confused. The venue looks more like it would house a flea market or some tractor auction. That is not to say that it is not very well maintained or clearly marked. It is both. Tickets were only $30 each and we got front row seats. The staff and the other patrons were all super nice. Everyone was saying hi and hello. The usher led us to our seats and I saw the most amazing invention at a theater. Cup holders. No other play houses have these. The seats were pretty comfortable. Not common in play houses. Which is funny. I always wonder if the idea is sell all the tickets and hope half of them can not sit for the entire performance. Again the place is spotless. Floor to ceiling. The actors were spectacular singers. Even the child actor. Not sure if they import top talent or if this town is similar to beauty and the beast and everyone wakes up signing. Bonjour! Good day! They even roller skated on stage! So this was awesome and I will go here again. If it weren't an hour away I'd go more often.

Excellent venue. Was worried because the outside looked like a garage but the inside was perfect. The show was great! I will be back!

MatchDog Rescue has given me and my bf our first love, Hewitt…read more Before attending the event in Atco, we were given a phone call with a proper run down on how the event would work so we were not confused when we got there. They are extremely communicative, and the events are usually held on Saturdays, but the transport that was bringing the dogs in had troubles and the event ultimately had to be moved to Sunday. I had my phone call at about 11:15 and about 1 PM hours later I was informed about the date change. It is not a typical adoption shelter that I have been to in the past. At the event, there is a ticket system, as in, the earlier you get there the earlier you will be called. While you wait you mingle with the volunteers and the dogs. You get a vibe on which dog feels like the best fit for you. However, be mindful that the crew with MatchDog Rescue does their due diligence and wants the best for EVERY SINGLE DOG. We went to the event with a very specific dog in mind. One that was on the medium/large end. However, the staff that reviewed our application and lifestyle, let us know that the dog might not be the best fit for us in terms of training and size of our home. While it was disappointing to hear, we knew at heart we wanted what was best for the dog and us. As mentioned before there is a mingling period while waiting to be called on by staff. During this period you can meet dogs of all ages, sizes, and all types OUTSIDE of dog cages. We had met several different dogs during this period, just to name a few that I can remember, Nevada, Hewitt, Cassidy, Dukie, and Garret. We bonded with several dogs early on, but with our hearts set on a specific dog, we just enjoyed their presence. However, after being informed that the dog we had our hearts set on was not a good fit for us, we knew which of the many dogs we met during the mingling period we wanted to go on a walk with. We asked if Hewitt was a good fit for us, confirmed he was, took him on a little stroll around the lot, and knew that our hearts were set on him. We went through the process of adopting him and each volunteer we worked with, remembered Hewitt and always told us how he was such a great dog and a cute little snippet or fun fact about Hewitt. There was never a doubt in my mind that Hewitt was not loved under their care. On our way out with Hewitt, the last volunteer that we worked with walked us to our car, ensuring that Hewitt was buckled in and safe and had their very loving and sad goodbyes with each other. Hewitt has been with us for about a week. We are a very calm, but active couple and Hewitt matches exactly that for us. When we are relaxing, he is relaxing. When we are running, Hewitt is right there running with us. It is not something that I considered when I was looking into adopting a dog, but I am extremely grateful the staff at MDR let us know before adopting a dog. If ever in the future I am looking for a second dog, there is no doubt in my mind that MDR will be the first adoption agency I look into.

Match Dog Rescue is an incredibly organized, compassionate, thoughtful, and well-run organization…read more They go to great lengths to vet potential adopters and match dogs with the right "Furever" family. Their volunteers coordinate with partner rescues in areas with an abundance of overcrowded, high-kill shelters. They travel to these areas, rescue and transport the pooches to New Jersey, where dedicated fosters await their arrival. The fosters nurture, care for and partner with veterinary professionals to ensure that the rescued pups are primed to thrive in their new "Furever" homes. We highly recommend Match Dog and are eternally grateful to them for bringing our beloved Jessy "home" to us. - Steve and Anna C.

Exceptional support and genuine care -- ARC with Love truly puts the dogs first…read more Our experience with ARC has been nothing short of compassionate and supportive. From the very beginning of our adoption journey with our puppy Rio, the team was incredibly responsive, patient, and genuinely invested in making sure both the dog and our family were comfortable. As first-time puppy parents juggling full-time work and kids, we had moments of overwhelm and uncertainty. ARC -- especially Louise -- handled every question, concern, and even our emotional back-and-forth with grace and understanding. Whether it was guidance on feeding, vaccinations, behavior, or just reassurance during anxious moments, they were always there to help. What stood out most was how deeply they care about the well-being of their dogs. Their priority is clearly to ensure each puppy goes to a safe, loving, and committed home -- and they take that responsibility very seriously. At the same time, they showed empathy toward us as a family trying to do the right thing. Thanks to their support and encouragement, we were able to work through our initial challenges and confidently welcome Rio into our home. We are so grateful for ARC with Love's dedication, transparency, and heart. If you are considering adopting, know that ARC with Love will walk alongside you every step of the way -- with honesty, kindness, and the dog's best interest at heart. Highly recommend!

Great experience adopt don't shop!…read more First I would like to say this is my second rescue in three years. What a difference and a pleasure dealing with ARC with love. Night and day! Brief recount of first experience. Beware if multiple puppies need an immediate pick up, there are no guarantees, no vaccines and over $1000 for adoption fee. This should be a huge red flag so Run. My first mini poodle arrived in a U-Haul truck with 30-35 other pups and they were all lethargic ( which we know puppies are not). Cost was 1600 each plus a spay fee that they hold. We met at an abandoned house in a driveway. My pup after the drugs wore off, and started walking, broke her leg and shoulder in 2 places. 4 months of pain and thousands in vet bills. Can't prove that she came that way. Red flag warning right there. If you see Jennifer L anywhere associated with a "rescue". Do not participate in her rescue - she has been investigated several times, shut down and changes the "rescue"name only to restart her scam. I say all of this because I dealt with a real rescue - ARC with Love. Louise is a professional, and her compassion and passion for helping animals shows. We started with a video interview with the dog I was interested in. We both had questions for each other and my guard was up because of the experience with Jennifer. I was immediately put at ease by Louise, by the end of our 25-30 minute call I felt like I knew her and thought she was genuine. We made arrangements to pick the pup up. When I arrived at her house, (not an abandoned lot) she videoed me seeing my Lili for the first time in person. She was freshly groomed and was a very socialized puppy. We sat down, she explained all of the known information. Her vaccines were up to date and explained she needed one more due in 2 weeks, if I wanted to bring her back she would do it. She made the offer if we wanted to bring her back to get spayed it will be at a significant discount. You can see the passion she has just by her interaction with the pup. She cares about the dogs she rescues. Unlike the money transaction with Jennifer L. Don't get me wrong, I love my little poodle and wouldn't trade her for the world. Who knows what would have happened to her if I decided not to take her. Anyway, I strongly recommend supporting and adopting from Arc with Love. Louise makes you feel like family. A great big thank you for not only my new
