I would not trust these people with a pair of crocs. I have brought 3 pairs of shoes to them to get repaired, and that was 3 too many...the first was a pair of boots that I needed resoled, and a pull strap that had come undone. They didn't bother to sew the strap back on and only glued it (glue was everywhere on the shaft of the boot). Needless to say that came undone the first time I tried to put the boots back on. A year later and the sole is coming off somehow. Anyway, the second pair had a hole in the shaft. I thought they could just stitch it, it's covered by pants so it doesn't matter that much. I got them back, and the first thing I thought was WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU USE TWO DIFFERENT THREAD COLORS?! There was also no organization to the stitching, just a bunch of zigzags and stitches going 3" too far past the hole...it was just really bad. So the last pair...and I know you're thinking "why would you go back?" Well I had a pair of lug sole shoes that the sole had to simply be reglued. And I could have done it myself but I thought that surely it can't be that difficult. Allegedly it was, because after having my shoes for 23 days, they give them back to me with glue all over the upper. They have no concept of care or craft in any work they do. Called in for a quote to put protective soles on my New Valentinos on Monday. Rep at the desk (Josh) said $38.99+tax. I told him I had a flight Friday and asked if it could be ready on Thursday. He color matched my soles to the shoe before I left for drop off to make sure I was happy. My shoes were ready the next day. I highly recommend Musso's and will return for all my shoe repair needs. When I went to musso, I was surprised by the price, as $130 to resole a pair of boots is a hell of a lot cheaper than what I'm used to. Plus it only took them about a week to finish them. I was pumped when I got them back, but they messed up a few things. There were some glue spots on the ostrich patchwork, when I tried to gently peel it off, some of the color was removed with it. I had asked for them to glue down the permanent insole since it had started to peel up, but they came back peeled up way more than before, which they fixed for me quickly for free. On the sole, where it arches, it looks like they chipped the sole fairly bad and didn't bother to stain it to match the color of the rest of the sole. My biggest issue is how they messed up while stitching the sole on. They ended up running the stitches into each other on the toe of one of my boots, I'm sure this isn't a huge deal, but it just doesn't look good. Overall, the price is pretty good, and the wait is short, but the craftsmanship isn't quite there. I don't think I'll be going back. Only time will tell. read more

Welcoming and friendly staff and excellent workmanship; every repair is top-notch! My wife brought in a very worn Louis Vuitton purse and it came back looking good as new. Even better than new since one of the employees added a tassle key chain that looks really nice! I took my brand new booth to be fixed today.It was just the zipper that needed repair. My new booth came back looking very worned . I know they had to fix it but there was a zipper on the inside of the booth that made it very easy to get too. Now my brand new booth looks like it's been worn for a while. I would not go back again to get my shoes fixed there. I bought these booths because they were the last pair and I knew they could be fixed. They were not cheap then they even came back with scratchs on them. read more
