The best!! We have been using MV Baby Rent (formerly Bear Baby) for years. We travel with children from Texas so we count on renting cribs, strollers, high chairs, beach tents, umbrellas... everything, this year they even had bed rail for our toddler! They are always quality products, clean, affordable and delivered on time. It's a no brainer if you're traveling with children. read more

I recently used Bear Baby Equipment and had a great experience. I got a pack and play and a swing and both were clean and arrived on time. The owners are very nice and responsive. It was so great to not have to travel with these big items and I will definitely use them again. Strong recommendation! read more

Just a huge thanks to Alissa & MV Baby Rent for our 2nd year in a row of perfect service. You guys were flexible in letting me change my order at the last minute, and were really great about getting our products on time and in perfect condition. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for baby supplies or just beach supplies during your trip. So much easier than lugging all that stuff on the ferry or a flight. read more

Efficient as could be! Clean & up to date cribs, equipment, beach toys. Unlike post above, my interactions with office staff and drivers were indeed five star. Frankly, I have visited the island for 20 years and this is always been a reliable business. The reviewer of September 2016 is a bit mean-spirited. read more

The rudest people I have ever dealt with. They messed up the dates I needed the crib and then literally reprimanded us for their mistake and then charged us extra ( again because THEY made an error). Do yourself a favor and bring whatever you can rather than use them! The epitome of unprofessional. read more

We needed both a crib for our home and car seat to pick up our daughter and grandson at Logan. The equipment was top quality and they delivered and set up everything for a very reasonable cost. Staff was friendly and accommodating - especially when weather became a factor in our off-island travel plans. Great service - would definitely use them again. read more

Relax and travel light knowing that beach and baby gear and equipment rental, cleaning, and delivery is our full-time specialty. We take care of lugging the cribs, beach toys, high chairs, baby gates, strollers, joggers, beach tents, beach chairs, car seats and more. You travel lightly, safely, and easily! Our goal has always been to provide the safest, cleanest, highest quality, and most useful items for folks to use on the island. We are local, family owned and operate year-round. We work closely with homeowners, hotels, inns, real estate companies, caretakers, visitors, house managers, and island concierge services to make beach and baby travel simple and easy. MV Baby Rent is proud to have been entrusted with many happy return visitors for over 25 years! Always available 9-5, on call 24/7 Providing delivery to all Martha's Vineyard towns including Oak Bluffs, Edgartown, Vineyard Haven, Chilmark, West Tisbury, and Aquinnah. Most deliveries happen between 10 - 3. You do not need to be home. Full sized cribs arrive fully assembled, slightly folded, and set up in about a minute; no tools needed! Chappaquiddick (Chappy) visitors collect their items at the ferry landing on the Edgartown side.

We founded MV Baby Rent and MV Beach Rent in 1996, shortly after welcoming of our oldest child. Our goal has always been to provide the safest, cleanest, highest quality, and most useful items for folks to use on the island. We are local, family owned and operate year-round. We work closely with homeowners, hotels, inns, real estate companies, caretakers, visitors, house managers, and island concierge services to make beach and baby travel simple and easy. MV Baby Rent is proud to have been entrusted with many happy return visitors for over 25 years! We raised our kiddos here and now we love helping visitors and guests discover and revisit this beautiful community.

There's always a great selection, from antique oddities to cheeky modern wares. My wife loved all the vintage books, and my daughter got a chuckle from the silly greeting cards and postcards. Some things might seem pricy, but it's cause they're rare finds, and the owners put a lot of work into sourcing neat stuff, so they have to put their own time into searching and purchasing goods. Compared to plenty of other antique stores, this place has great bargains! There's plenty of things in all price ranges, so I we always leave the store satisfied with our purchases, and excited to see what they have next time we visit! We hope the store stays around a long time so we can keep visiting it for many summer vacations to come!
