I made a consultation appointment and received a few emails with a lot of good information regarding estate sales and how to be prepared for the consultation. Was told to start putting in piles things that we want to keep versus things that could be sold in an estate sale. The day of the consultation, Allison came and was very approachable and friendly. However, she told us that since we did not have over $10,000 worth of stuff to sell, that doing an estate sale would essentially not be worth their time. I was a bit annoyed that this information just wasn't shared upfront. I get some people have hidden treasures, but I could've told the initial contact person that I highly doubt we have $10,000 worth of things to sell. Allison gave us a piece of paper that spoke about what we can do now that an estate sale with them is not possible. Suggestions of using Facebook marketplace, donating items, and trashing companies that they have worked with in the past. Again, she was super sweet and knowledgeable regarding her craft.
