I come to this office whenever I need to get my vehicle registrations... It's very clean inside and the shared parking lot is very clean also... The staff is very friendly... There is MVC office about 5 minutes from where I live but they don't do registrations... I do find that a bit strange... read more

I bought a new car and sold my old car myself they walked me through everything I needed to do step by step I was dreading having to go in there because in the past this place was nothing but a bunch of angry old women and men who hated their job but now it's actually kind of pleasant to talk to and work with the folks employed in the Medford location. it's been a pleasure actually. These folks need a raise and you guys need to recognize your staff who goes above and beyond their duties. After a long time I went to a DMV which has exceptional service ! Wow .. so well organized .. yeah - it was a longggggg way from my home , but wow - what a good dmv to be in. Have been to Edison , Rahway dmvs and used to wait for hours to get to the main line.. today - it was just 10-15 mins - in and out like a flash ! The employees were really helpful and quick . RUDE! 5 people standing outside for separate appointments and the door is locked. There's 12 people standing inside looking at us doing NOTHING. Not a single person would answer the door or the phone, just blatantly ignored us. No sign on the door that they closed early or an email to cancel appointments. Fantastic, professional service! All DMVs should be modeled after this one. I was here 6/26 close to closing time and it was BUSY. The staff were working so hard. They were smiling, pleasant, cheerful, and handling some stressed out customers with such grace. There was an employee that was checking with each customer in line that they had everything they needed before getting to the window to check in. This is great! I was missing a form that needed to be filled out, and she got it for me and highlighted everything I needed to fill out. This saved so much time and frustration! If you're looking for a stress free DMV experience, this is the place to go. This DMV is located in the Sharp Run shopping center off of Route 70. The office is open during the week from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, staying open until 7:30 PM on Tuesdays. It's also open on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. I've renewed my license, registered my car and made changes to my name at this location. Each time I was in and out within 10 minutes and had a pleasurable experience with the staff. I highly recommend making this your go to DMV. read more

From what I experienced today, the rude ass lady that I saw needs to be fired. I waited 45 minutes to be called, then another 25 minutes as she stood in the back of the room Scrolling on her phone. When she finally decided to come do her job, she told me I'd have to wait until she was ready as she sat down, got her purse and her cold pills. So as she took her sweet ass time swallowing her pill ( almost 10 minutes ) I was at the end of my patience. But, stayed calm because usually I'd say something. Anyway, I was there just to renew my registration so when I saw my new registration was expiring in just 6 months instead of a year, I was hoping to find out why. I asked her why It was expiring so soon, and this lady decided to be rude and snotty and she huffed we are done, and walked to the back of the room again. Just to get on her phone again. This is the most unprofessional person I have ever met in my 50 years of being alive. It's literally pathetic. DMV / MVC do better. Get rid of the trash. If they don't want to work, thrown them in the trash where they belong. read more

A fellow Yelper compared this place to Disneyland. For sure I thought that these Camden County people were wacky. Guess what, he was right. This place is fantastic! I visited for a new license (name and address change) midweek around 10:45 AM. I braced myself for the type of waits I was accustomed to at the DMV's in North Jersey. I figured I would be there for at least an hour and a half. I even ate a huge breakfast because I presumed I'd be waiting for a while. The joke was on me because I was in and out of there in 14 minutes. Yes, 14 minutes. I timed it. The employees I encountered were so kind and so efficient. The key is to do your homework and have your 6 points of information with you. Most people's negative experiences are as a result of supplying insufficient paperwork. A stitch of time saves nine...do your research, bring what you need, and you won't need to leave and come back! Rant aside, the facility was clean, orderly, and everyone was smiling. Can this really be? The employees at this location should be commended for a job well done. And did I mention that they're efficient? Never again will I dread the DMV! read more

Stopped into DMV tonight to renew my driver's license. From the receptionist, to the woman who takes your info, picture, and processes your license, the experience was quick and friendly. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. They are open late on Tuesdays and the place had less than 6 people there. Much faster than going on a Saturday. read more

Sad to say this is one of the better dmv's in the area, it's clear that these are non-privatized state workers just by their approach and demeanor to the clients (citizen taxpayers). I was told to "sit down and wait", so be prepared to wait and meet new friends in the waiting room. There's no rush here, since there's no incentive for the staff to hurry. Went to the Medford MVC to re-title and register a vehicle I acquired from my son. This teenage looking homely girl at the desk looks over our paperwork from the bank and asked if I had a notarized letter from bank proving that the lien has been satisfied. The title was completed by bank properly along with a letter. The title clearly said lien has been satisfied. That wasn't enough for this loser at the counter. So we drove to our credit union and she notarized the letter stating the lien has been paid in full. Homely teenage looking brat who probably never had a day of fun in her life said we already rejected this letter and had to get a new letter from bank. I'm like WTH. We drive to the new facility in Delran. The people there are the same very nice people that were at the old Mount Holly office. She said all they needed was the signatures of buyer and seller on the title. Everything was in order. If lien was not satisfied I wouldn't have had the title. The staff at Medford MVC obviously need to be re-trained in their job. To save time and aggravation, just go to a MVC that know their job and doesn't hire former disgruntled McDonald's workers read more

Walked in for a title and registration on a used car I just bought. Of course, when you buy a used car off the street you sign the papers while leaning on a dashboard, window, handbag, etc. At the front desk, nasty teen-looking infant with a pouty face didn't like the way I wrote the number six (looked "altered") and denied me entrance to the lines, telling me I'd have to get new signatures. Signatures from dead people or the executor of their estate. Nice. Why do they put these miserable people at the FRONT DESK? That's everyone's initial (and possibly only) experience and that's okay? You can't tell me there aren't nice, polite people in the Medford area who desperately need a job? I can count about 100 in the local retirement communities alone. Feeling sick to my stomach, I gathered myself together, got back in my car and drove to the Turnersville office, where the employees were humming to the music, pleasant, and helpful. No one gave my "6" a second glance. I was wished a Merry Christmas and handed a candy cane. Never again will I go to Medford. read more

The dreaded DMV - it never used to be this way but of course since 09/11 it has all changed. I had to go to the DMV to get a change made on my driver's license - that's all - no big deal right? WRONG! Now, just to give you some background history, I was just there a year ago - requesting the initial change - don't ask - long story and gave them about 45 different forms of ID, paperwork, passport, birth certificate (WITH THE RAISED SEAL to prove I was officially born and am who I say I am) and a phone bill and all other certificates, etc. and jesus I even gave them a list of my favorite restaurants - hoping that would help push the process along a bit quicker..... So I should have known - but I didn't. I went there today with all of my papers, with my new social security card (I had to schlep to Mt. Holly last week to sit for an hour to get that changed on that as well as that has to be changed prior to getting the license changed). I figured - damn - I was just here a year ago with all of the other stuff and they must surely know i passed their 45 point system proof test so I didn't bother bringing my birth certificate. Well, I walked in - lady smiled at me but not a sincere smile - kinda like a smile like "you don't have enough of proof & you'll have to come back again" smile. I knew i was doomed. So I smiled (a sincere genuine smile saying please help me today and don't make me come back smile). She seemed so confused going back and forth through the papers that I said maybe if I explain it to you it will make sense..."no, no she said - you need more proof. I need your birth certificate (WITH A RAISED SEAL) Anyway, I said well, I was just here last year....and she didn't even let me finish. She then said "NEXT". So I politely said, thanks so much for your help - i'll be back. So my son, who is so sweet said, mom, let's go get the B.C. and come back and get it done. So we came home, I got the paperwork (I brought the whole damn file with me) and went back and DAMN - there was different lady up front - so much for getting even...so I had to explain the whole thing to her and she said "I have to speak with the supervisor". She came back and said "Ok, just go over to that booth and hand these papers to that man". I did as I was told. He was an older man in his 70's and he shuffled through my papers as well and called another person over and I said that woman over there just spoke with her supervisor and ok'd it and he said well this doesn't make sense - so I said, maybe if I explain it to you it will be easier to understand" "no, no, he said, let me go talk to the supervisor" - OH jessusssss.... So another girl came back and handed me the papers back and said "you're ok" - just take these over to that booth and wait for your number. So I sat down and waited. I was finally at the last step (the picture taking step). My number was called (#97) and the girl started shuffling through the papers...so I said "maybe if I explain it to you it will be easier to understand" and she said "sure!" OMG - she was human! So I explained it to her and she said ok - stand over there and here's to a your change going through (as she saw & most likely heard the difficulty I had getting the change done) and did I smile. She was SWEET and I told her so and my son said "mom, now that's a nice person" (thank god he can spot out the good ones too) FINALLY, I have an updated license with all of the present information on it and thank god I won't have to go back there again anytime soon. I schedule an appointment to get my paperwork done and the amount of time I spent waiting is obscene. Not only did the woman at window 11 not acknowledge my existence, they passed me on to someone else. She was extremely rude and constantly on her phone throughout the transaction. When I spoke to someone else at the office they somehow magically were able to process what she could not. I have a job too, I take the time to make an appointment and she Is lolly gagging.The DMV isn't suppose to be fun but it should have some order. read more

The old man who works there and claims to be a manager, John, is probably one of the top 10 most rude people I've ever been around in my life. I came in for a simple license renewal and he tried to tell me that I was committing fraud by bringing in documents that showed my middle initial and one that didn't show my middle initial. He began treating me rudely and kept cutting me off while I was simply trying to explain and understand. He kept telling me that it's a new law and I should know it and it's printed everywhere. After asking him where it's printed he said it was in the brochure but I read the full brochure and then informed him that it was not in there so how what I know otherwise? At that point he told me he was going to remove me from the DMV yet I was simply just having a conversation. He then brought over some investigator guy in the investigator guy started laughing at me and he was even worse. I informed him that laughing at me was completely unnecessary and then he flipped his lid and got a police officer on site to walk me out. The police officer clearly understands how insane these people are because he told me to always go to another DMV office when possible before ever coming here. Intelligent parting words. I will never be back to this piece of trash employed DMV. read more

Even though i was the 86th person in line, (I got there at 7:15 am), at 8:00 am the manager came out and explained hy. It took all of 30 minutes. The manager and staff were great!!! Thank you!ow the process was going to proceed. We got a number, gave them my phone number, they called me on the spot and that registered me in the system. Then they tell you to go and wait to be called to come back but you wait in your car. Then they call you again to tell you to come in the building. When you come in the building you are the 10th person but they have 5 or 6 windows open. They are so organized at the Medford MVC. I had to come back the next day and the manager made sure I got waited on right away. The manager and staff are wonderful!!! Thank you. read more

I was trying to change my out of state license to NJ and they gave me a hard time. I had all the proper documents but they said they will not do it because my birth certificate didn't read, Jr but it was on my license. I had to send out for a new birth certificate because of the changes DMV made in 2010 with certificates from Puerto Rico and it didnt have Jr on it. I had my passport, ID, social security card, ATM card, bank statement and tax forms. A passport should have been sufficient but they claim they cant unsee my birth certificate and refuse to help. That's petty and racist. read more
