I then proceeded to buy a greeting card and placed in it a $50 gift card for my sister. She then told me she could take care of the card to mail it for me, but the card never arrived to my sister. I called and spoke with a gentleman named. Ron Townsend, who completely ignored my request for help in finding the card or at least in looking up the number of the gift card. Do not send gift cards tthrough this post office. They will steal them.

What makes this review particularly hard is that my mail is delivered out of this Post Office, and I've always recieved nothing but great service from my mailmen. So I go into this Post Office to simply get a couple stamped envelopes, a money order, and return a package that was sent and billed to my mothers home. I only had a $20 bill, and was immediately hit with "do you have anything smaller"... No, I don't... Then I start getting this nonsense about them not having enough change, and basically refusing the sale because of a $20 bill(?). This is a fairly large and one of the more busy post offices... So I pulled out my debit card and paid for the items and service.... Annoyed, I leave. Later that day, I had totally forgotten about even being at the post office and the miserable woman who was serving me, until I looked at my online banking... I see an ATM surcharge on my bank app. I never go anywhere where there's a surcharge of any kind. I hate throwing money away.... So this place refuse to take the money I had. Left me with only an option to pay with my card. Then charged me for using my card!! It's not the amount of money charged, as much as it's a charge that should not happen... Not even a service fee, but a surcharge that was not even in the total that the woman told me I was paying. I doubt that I'll be using this post office again anytime soon. But when I do return, it will be with a jar of coins to pay for the services that I need.

YES…read moreYES and YES, BUT .... compared to the other NJMVC I recently visited that were newer and in "prettier" areas, I would return to this Runnemeade location before returning to any of the others any day of the week because the customer service was A+ literally from checking in at the door throughout the entire process. I had a 2pm appointment and was in and out in less than 45 minutes !!!! (The prior week I walked out of the NJMVC in Delco because I had a 1pm appointment, arrived 30 minutes early and still wasn't called after having been there for almost 3 hours.) Hands down Runnemeade was one of the best NJMVC experiences I've had and it will honestly be my go to location despite it being 30 minutes away from me because CUSTOMER SERVICE MATTERS and I'll go out of my way to receive great service.

2 of the 3 reps I spoke to were not only unhelpful, they were needlessly rude…read more Made my 80 y.o. Mother walk to the back of the line because we forgot to write her DOB on the form. When we got back in line the rep leaves her desk. For over 10 mins I watched (and overheard) her talking about personal issues, picking her nails, wondering around. All while her coworkers were actually working. It wasn't till another rep finished our paperwork did she return to her desk. She was angry with me because I had 2 questions about the form. She could have let me write the DOB (it's only 8 characters) and HELPED US, but she made a conscious decision to be rude.

I don't think I've ever heard a word come out of his mouth or at least could make out what he was saying. Dude here's some advice... Learn how to interact with people and be grateful to have a job. If you hate working at the Post Office go attempt to find a career you actually want to do so you aren't so miserable.

Most of our communication was through text and it did not matter the time I texted her she always responded. Helen was helpful in sending me pictures of monuments based on the things I shared I wanted on his headstone. Helen is a good sales person to deal with. I also found their prices to be better than most Monument places.
