Very family-friendly welcoming environment, with professional barbers. After going to two different shops, I found this gem close to home...and was able to take all three of my boys to the shop (my youngest is autistic). I was nervous at first, but Tyrel assured us that he would be able to cut my youngest sons hair as well, and was VERY patient and accommodating. Needless to say, he is our barber for life! The entire shop is nice, they welcome you upon entry, and have an app that is easy to book appointments. My boyfriend looked this place up looking for a local place for a haircut. From the photos it looked like they specialized in all hair types but not so much. It is absolutely a black (African American) barbershop. They don't wash your hair here. MOST if not ALL white men get a cut and wash at their appointments and this was not the case for him. The cut was ok not the best and VERY expensive $50. Wow and that didn't include a shave or anything. We won't be back to this place. read more

Listen, I typically do not do Yelp reviews but I just had to make it a first today! My kids and I relocated to this area from out of state and when I first moved to the area I was driving over an hour for a barber that was referred to us. However, I still was not feeling my son's haircut and the drive just did not justify the quality for me. We have been here since October and I literally was up in the middle of the night researching barbers for my kids and found Pri'stine! The barber I chose for my kids is Ke and I was not disappointed by him (VERY professional and patient with my son), the barbershop AND definitely not the distance! 10 minute commute from where we live and not compromising the quality of the haircut that I like for my kids. Trust me, I am particular on whoever touches my kids head and with my boys having curly hair it's hard to find that barber that cuts in the way that does not compromise their hairline or hair texture. It was our first time yesterday and you have to understand how I excited I was that God answered my prayer of finding a barbershop near our home of which made us feel at home since we are new to the Houston city. This long review comes because of just how tedious it is to find either a stylist for your hair or a barber for the men in your family and when you finally do it is gratifying! If you are looking for a great barber near the Fulshear/Katy area or you just need a great barbershop, whatever your case, please visit this Pri'stine barbershop! Great positive atmosphere. Nice work also, but as a parent of young boys, what really impressed me and what I really appreciated was the fact that they didn't have inappropriate music or language flying around. For this reason more than anything is why I will definitely be back. But they definitely gave my boys some of the best haircuts they have had in the last year. Good job guys! read more
