I've used them several times. Once they were bringing a safe to my home from the store; the store dropped the safe and the company didn't take the damaged safe, which I appreciated. I used them to move to an apartment and they broke the key pad on my safe; their policy for replacing broken items sucks so I'm not sure I would use them again just because of that. I used them again for a move and they sent three guys; one just kind of stood around a lot. Prices seem standard but it's hit or miss on the movers. There are probably better movers out there. I wouldn't let them move any valuables but if you need them for something else they're probably fine. read more

Update #2. Called for my payout that never showed up. I called them, and they said they sent it Zelle but the transaction failed. It's rather than to call me when they have my phone number to tell me that they obviously didn't want to pay me.I now said they would send me a check. I am now 10 days out and no check has been received. I will have to reach out and call them again. These people obviously don't give a crap about business or customer service or doing the right thing. read more

After unpacking more, we found our coffee table with a broken leg and several deep scratches on an end table. After this, we expect to find more damage and will report if found. read more

Horrible experience. They originally called and quoted us 1800.$ for our move. After we paid the deposit with no further communication we got a quote of 2300-3300$. I called about the quote being so different after the original and deposit was paid. They apologized for the discrepancy and then updated to 1800-2300$. The day of our move one of the 3 movers clearly had no idea how to handle furniture and refused to lift heavy pieces of furniture resulting in us moving many things on our own and the time allotted increasing significantly. Our quote was listed as 4.5 hours and it took 8 hours. There was over 1 hour the moving team was staring at the treadmill because they didn't know how to get it into or out of the home. The hit many walls and created damage. After all was said and done the final charge was 3300$. When I called to discuss the discrepancy and how displeased I was they said they were sorry that it felt like a bait and switch situation but no other resolutions were discussed. I will never use this company again as it shows how little they care for their customers. read more

If I could give them a zero I would. They are easily the biggest crooks in the moving industry. They charge an obscene amount of money-- and their customer service is easily the rudest I've encountered. On the day of my move, the team showed up early without warning-- and remember they charge by the hour. As I scrambled to make space for my furniture in my new home -- I got a call from the manager berating me, cussing, and demanding I pay the full amount or he would "haul my stuff away, and I'd never see it again". This caught me by surprise, as the only thing I had complained to the movers about was showing up early without warning. The manager was so rude-- He demanded 12K without ever completing the job-- despite my contract stating that I would pay the total at the end. I had already paid a deposit. I even fed the movers the day before and maintained as professional of a relationship as possible. Despite this, the movers broke several of my prized items-- and did not care even to let me know. I was fortunate that I had friends over to help with the move and they witnessed the destruction of the property. Horrible horrible company-- DO NOT USE THEM! I also was overcharged, as I was forced to pay "the estimated" full amount before the move was complete-- and it has been over 8 months and I still have not been refunded. I do not recommend this company for moving . Our stuff was stolen from the back of their trucks and Chattanooga because they didn't provide locks and did not tell us . The office Personnel lied and told us it was going to get ugly when we turned it over to the credit card company . They are stinking Liars . Whoever is giving them good reviews must be related to them to try to offset all the bad reviews they have received . Quoting. Communication. All great. We flexed when they wanted to arrive early. By a day and a half. Lisa is a snake. Truck and 3 guys. Well. Only two arrived. Suggesting they'll be thrilled to be able to direct unload after driving directly there. Quoting my inventory list without mentioning that the REAL quote is cubic feet. Pack the truck looser, make more money eh. With all my possession loaded they almost double the price. OH. And it will be 3 to 7 days to unload. When I complained she threatens me with "it COULD take up to 21 days" per the contract. They are the reason movers get a crap reputation. read more

I have traveled & moved many times. My 3 Sons is THE BEST! Dave is the owner & he will speak to you personally about your concerns, as well as accommodate you. Brittany is on the front end - answers the calls - she is AAAAHHH-MAZZZZING! The guys who do all the Labor are Professional, Honest, and Precise in their handling of your possessions! I have used this company at least 3-4 times & each time they have given me 100% & met my expectations. Everyone hates the act of moving BUT My 3 Sons eliminates the stress of moving. I am Super Picky & they have - not once - disappointed me. I was not available on one of moved & they treated my elderly Mother with so much Respect & Integrity. This company moved us on our last move. We had used them before and found them to be excellent. This last time was not to good. They took an excessive amount of time to move us and even damaged our 65 inch TV. We were told by management they would take care of it but it has been over 2 months and still have not heard anything back from them. We also got a quote from the home office and when the job was done turned out to be almost $300 dollars more than what we was told by their office manager. Don't use this company since they seem to have some issues that needs to be corrected. read more

I've been using my 3 sons for years but the customer service has gone down. I had 3 young movers move my stuff last Saturday and one was high on pills or meth couldn't tell and kept falling on the floor. They didn't move everything and tried to charge me the same price I paid last time moving and hr away going ten minutes away. The last thing is my wife is pregnant and she had to put everything together and move and I had to rent a U-Haul the next day because they didn't do their job. So if you want young men high on drugs around your family I recommend this place for you. I called and complained that following Monday and was told I would get a call back never did I had to call them and Dana answered and became a Karen instantly because I was furious because I had been waiting all day with no response and don't say your gonna get your lawyer involved they will say since your threatening lawyers they can't speak to you on the phone. So if you want to be moved by a bunch of druggies and talk to Karen as their manager then this the place for you if your lucky you can find a new dealer when they move your stuff lol read more

Very polite and professional until they have your business. Then everything changes. Rude, unorganized. I never received a confirmation email like they said I would. I had called to cancel about a week before the move was scheduled. The day before they called to confirm the move. I returned the phone and notified them I had cancelled the previous week. David, the assiociate that answered the phone laughed, said ok and hung up the phone. Edit: Apparently I'm just a fake review. A bad review and they don't try to accommodate a potential customer. DO NOT USE! We hired My3Sons to move us from an apartment into a brand new house. They cause damages in my apartment, in my new home and to several pieces of my furniture. I called, emailed, provided several pictures. After a week and a half of no response, they finally sent their 'decision' that they were going to compensate me for one piece of furniture. This is not 'making it right'. I would stay away from these movers! They will damage your property!!! read more

RUN don't look BACK!!! Hired my three sons movers 10 days in advance to move on Friday July 31st. Waited all day & they never showed. They Called late in the evening with several excuses, apologized & one of the owners said he would make sure they showed up at 8 AM Saturday morning..they never showed! Finally called at 2:00 Saturday afternoon said they would be here at 4-5 pm that evening Claimed workers where walking off the job & trucks were breaking down. Blamed the the rain the day before. 4:30 Saturday a mover called & said they had to much stuff to move & would be there at 8-9 That evening! Their is no way I'm moving at 9:00 at night. IF THEY EVEN SHOWED! The moving guy said they would be there 8-9 Sunday. At this point it was comical! I called to express my frustration & MAKE SURE THEY Were ACTUALLY going to show up on time Sunday (Had already destroyed 4th of July weekend for my whole family) & was hung up on by one of the owners because he said he didn't like the tone of my voice. That was the last straw! I called to fire them & get my deposit back & was hung up on again! $200.00 per hour & this is how they treat people. I have worked in the Real Estate industry for 20 yrs Most unprofessional behavior I have encountered I will worn any & all buyers & sellers to NEVER EVER USE THEM. I just called to inquire about some damaged/missing furniture and was basically verbally assaulted by a girl named Brittany who, unfortunately, answered the phone. My elderly mother had to move out of necessity on June 7 and was told by someone named "Ryan" at the end of the process to pay whatever she could. She was quoted at $1,400 dollars and she paid $1,500. That check was cashed almost immediately. The "lovely" receptionist proceeded to speak to me in a raised voice and continuously interrupted me saying that there was an unpaid balance. I'm not sure what balance she is referring to but I'm sure it isn't ethical to harp on about it when my mother's couch was gashed in the back and the legs to said couch are still missing. Regardless of the technicality of it, I have never been spoken to in such a manner and would advise she undergo some customer service training. As far as the men who moved my mother, they were extremely polite. Clearly, this is an "in office" issue that calls for some professionalism that was definitely not offered to us today in our attempt to resolve it. I'd also like to add that they moved her approximately three miles down the road. By no means was this a big move. read more

I hired My 3 Son's Moving to move my belongings from one townhouse to another in Frankfort, KY on 8-27-16. They arrived on time, but with a much smaller truck than was needed for the job, therefore it took longer to move me which of course resulted in a higher bill for me. They did not have their own tools to unhook my washer and dryer, but thankfully I had tools to provide to them. While moving the washer and dryer out of the laundry room at my old place they tore the linoleum in 2 places and put a hole in the door. I was assured that the owner would take care of this damage. After the move as I'm unpacking I notice that they had caused damage to my entertainment center (broke the door) and to both my washer and dryer. I contacted the owner that same day and about a week later he finally came to inspect the damage. I was assured that he would pay for the damage to the old house and he would have both my washer and dryer and tv stand repaired. So far the owner did finally pay an appliance company to repair my washer/dryer, but my tv stand is still broken and he has not paid for the damages to the old house. In fact when I received a bill for an amount of $577 from my old place for the damage his movers caused and sent it to him I was told by the owner David(in an email) that he would go to court before paying that. At this point I have been trying to contact David with no success, he has been ignoring my emails. I believe he thinks this is all going to go away, but his movers and company are liable for the damage they caused to my belongings and to the linoleum/door at my old house. This is extremely poor customer service and I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone!! I have also reported them to the BBB and filed a consumer complaint with the Consumer Protection Division of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. read more

I hired them to just move someone in that was transferring here for work. She drove up the loaded Uhaul herself and needed help unloading. This is one of the few companies in town that will not charge a minimum of hours for labor only. They stayed in contact with me and the person that they were moving into the apartment. Wonderfully easy to work with and the person that they moved in reported that they were excellent. read more

I hired My 3 Sons after being referred by my boyfriend's sister with great recommendation. They were more than flexible with my dates and times to work me in for my move from one apartment to another. They were so great about checking with me as they brought stuff out to the truck to make sure that everything they packed into the truck was meant to be moved and not taken to the apartment myself (as I had told them that I had some items that I would bring over in my own car). They were polite, friendly, and made good conversation that made us feel so comfortable with the move and all the stress of getting everything out quickly and efficiently. They even told me when a Windex that I had packed in a box (and not secured well enough not to leak) had leaked onto one of my couch cushions in the move and gave me some good advice about how to remove it. I hired My 3 Son's moving, after they gave me the least expensive quote for my move. They showed up late; we scheduled for 1230pm, and they arrived at 3pm. In their defense, they did squeeze me in last minute, but never reached out to me to let me know about the delay (I had to call). They never called to let me know they were on the way, so it was a surprise. I told them that since I had moved the majority of the boxes myself (local move), I would only need two guys, since it was just furniture and maybe 10 small boxes of books. The two gentlemen showed up, and needed a lot of direction as far as what was going and what wasn't (everything was going besides a broken lamp and a bed frame). Then, two other guys showed up, and I figured it was because they were running so late. I have a grill that I repeatedly told them that I had unlocked the back gate, to just roll it straight from the side yard into the backyard; They put the grill in the garage and kept piling boxes in front of the until I said "can you move the grill into the yard before it's blocked completely? The gate is open." The gentleman then proceeded to roll my grill into my mudroom, and through my kitchen until I realized and said HELLO MOVE IT THROUGH THE BACK! I constantly had to supervise and give directions. Finally, when the bill came, I was charged an extra $50 for the two men that showed up unexpectedly, without anyone telling/asking me if I was ok with the extra help, for extra money. Fun little surprise. I am sorry that I did not use 2 Dudes Moving, like my last move... Lesson learned, cheap isn't good, and good isn't cheap. Would not use again, nor would I recommend. read more

The men were professional and worked very hard to to get the job done in a timely manner while taking good care of all the furniture.
