I have raised and / or owned springer spaniels for most of my life. I thought I knew a lot about…read moredogs, and particularly loved bird hunting with my own. But every dog is unique, and they all are different in their own ways. My dog Maggie will be 4 years old in September and was raised by a great breeder out of Spokane. But, she had issues, primary of which was a behavioral tendency to resource guard and even bite. At the same time she was affectionate with me and is extremely intelligent. Like I said, I thought I knew some serious stuff about dogs, but I was not reaching her. Sean and Marta at The Good Dog Way did a great job with Maggie, and the change has been almost unbelievable. She has retained all of her good points, and her resource guarding tendencies have almost completely disappeared. Of course, like most of us, I love my dog a lot, and am extraordinarily happy to see that with Sean and Marta's program, Maggie is becoming the best dog she can be! I can't wait to get her in the field again this fall.

My dog came back 10# less than I dropped him off and nearly died after attempting to escape the $750 kennel that they recommended we buy. The only advice I received after getting him home and continuing to have the same issue he went to training for was to crank the e collar to 80-100 and correct him that way. Shockingly, that doesn't work. Avoid them at all costs, he's got lots of fancy posts, but sure can't do anything other than teach a dog place, heel and sit. Just find a real trainer with free vids to do that instead.

When I get lucky...I get LUCKY! I found this amazing group…read moreof people off of Yelp, and the 5 Star rating is 100% deserved. I have two pups: Archie and Charlie. I want the best for my puppies, so I asked so many different people where and how they trained their dogs. I received a few suggestions, but decided to do my own search...and I'm glad I did. Leo (Owner) and his amazing team of trainers TRULY care about the pups they train. Leo came to my home and wanted to meet me and my pups before I had to decide on making any decisions. After sitting down with him for about half an hour, I knew I found what I was looking for: Someone who wants me to have healthy and happy dogs. I signed up for the in-home training at first which is Leo coming to the house and training me on how to train my puppies (Archie and Charlie just turned 6 months and started with Leo and his team when they were 4.5). Very quickly, I realized I could not handle training both these puppies the way they needed to be trained. I discussed with Leo and decided to do a Board & Train. I like the schedule because I get to take the puppies on the weekends to spend time with me. Don't get me wrong, you NEED to train your pups on the weekends, but it's worth it and FUN. Archie has become the Puppy King (no offense to other puppies or their owners )). Charlie has a lot more energy, but has improved immensely! Leo's trainers are so caring. I feel my dogs get love with their training when they're not with me, and I couldn't ask for more. I see their excitement whenever I visit about improvements and milestones that Archie and Charlie achieved. They gleam with as much pride as I do. I honestly don't know where my pups OR I would be without the help of this AMAZING Team! If I could give 10 stars out of 5 stars, I would!

A few minutes later Leo called us and asked questions about the situation. Some basic tips he gave us over the phone saved our sanity until he came to our house a few days later for a free consultation. The consultation made it clear how experienced and passionate Leo is about dog training, so we decided to sign with him that same day. After one session we felt much more confident in training our dog and saw the "light at the end of the tunnel". Over the past 5 months and four training sessions, we have seen day and night improvement in her behavior. If you feel lost and out of control with how to train your dog or want to continue their training, Kelev K9 should be your first call. Leo is always ready to help out with any questions or concerns we have by text or phone call. Pricing is also extremely fair and was a worthwhile investment for us because we have our sanity back and have bonded so deeply with our dog through training. Thank you so much Leo, Breanna, and the whole team at Kelev K-9!

I mean it - we saw a tiny change after the first day alone, then after a full week of consistent training, he was less reactive on the leash, less barky, and just seemed generally more relaxed/less afraid. In just our first session--which lasted a generous 3 hours--Stephanie guided me with so much patience and knowledge on how to be the best puppy mom I can be. She's already helped us make huge progress with potty training, and Casper has started to improve with his barking and biting thanks to her techniques. Stephanie's approach is calm, supportive, and incredibly effective. I really appreciated how she focused not only on training Casper, but also on teaching me how to reinforce good behavior and build a positive relationship with him. Her schedule has also been extremely accommodating, which has made this whole process so much less stressful. I'm truly looking forward to our upcoming sessions and feel very lucky to have found her! Highly recommend Stephanie to anyone looking for a compassionate, skilled, and professional dog trainer.

I began taking dressage lessons with Brittany several weeks ago. I've ridden my entire life, but…read morehaven't done much the last several years. Brittany's facility is quite nice, very clean and the horses are all very well cared for. These were all reasons I chose Breezy Meadows. Brittany is very kind and knowledgeable, not to mention very patient in easing an adult back into proper form. I would recommend this barn to others seeking to learn how to ride or continue to ride. Although, I only ride English, she offers other disciplines, as well.

AVOID BREEZY MEADOWS!…read more Like Jeff C. and several of the filtered reviews, I had a horrible experience with Breezy Meadows. I brought my horse over on Friday, February 2nd, 2024. I started having problems by the second day in. They barely put any shavings in the stalls... not even enough to soak up the urine or to cover the floor. They only sprinkle in a little bit of fresh shavings every 3-4 days, which is unsanitary. I spoke with Brittany Burzynski several times requesting extra shavings. I wanted thick and cushy shavings in the stall. She told me it would be an extra $80. I confirmed that I would pay this. There were still no shavings in the stall after a week and multiple conversations about this problem. My horse was standing in urine!!! So I was in a rush to find another facility for my baby. Luckily, I found an amazing barn that was able to squeeze her in in a rush, since the conditions were really bad where she was currently at. I moved her out on the 16th (Exactly 2 weeks from when she was brought to Breezy.) I gave my 30 days notice and paid the additional two weeks in March, which was required when I gave my 30 day notice, and I ate the 2 additional weeks in February. I just wanted her out of there. While moving her out, Tyler Burzynski was extremely aggressive. He handed me my contract after I told him I already have a copy. Then he started yelling at me and recording me with his phone telling me that this is his property and I need to leave. Which I was in the process of doing since I was getting in my car with all of my things before he started making a scene. I asked him why he's recording me because he's the one causing a scene in front of all of his customers, and he proceeded to yell at me. So I got my car and left. He recorded me driving down the street which is completely stupid he was the one causing a problem. Also, paid an additional $100 for Orchard hay since they only feed alfalfa. I asked for the additional hay that I paid for when I was leaving, because I paid for a month of hay, and I was only there for for two weeks. Tyler got in my face and said that I'm not getting my hay and then I need to leave his property (which they rent from the owner of the house.) This complete BS since I paid for it. Tyler took it upon himself to block the entrance to the stable with his truck and trailer, so that we had to bring my horse into the street to load her. They really do not care about the safety of the horses. On another note, Brittney Burzynski advised me for the first month at the barn to start with half training to ease my Mare in. I agreed to this. Half training is $450 for three days of training per week. Full training is $700 for five days of training per week. After I gave my notice, I was told that she LUNGED her 3 times... and since I never signed a training contract which I was never told to sign, I need to pay her for lessons at $65 an hour ($195) The ONLY reason I paid this is because I was trying to get get my horse out safely, without having any problems. Welp, that didn't happen. AVOID BREEZY MEADOWS!!! (If anyone would like to message me I will send every message between Brittney Burzynski and I, so you don't feel like I'm cropping the conversation.) *Update on Brittney's response.
