I've been a customer at MBFC since it opened at its first location on Central in Tracy at least 13 years ago. I've always found Liz and her staff to be nothing but professional helpful and honest. I've taken many items over the years to consign and recently she sold a Vintage Chanel purse that I had no idea what its worth was. This is my favorite place to shop for my wife for any occasions. First off, the people working there are the nicest people. They always take the time to help me find the perfect gift for my price range. They have a large assortment of used designer handbags at great prices. My wife loves Louis Vuitton and because of this store, I have been able to surprise her with a few of these purses in different sizes over the years. Other items I love there are their jewelry and clothing. For jewelry, I have picked up numerous necklaces and earrings at great prices that look great on my wife. They also have these jean called Judy Blue that my wife loves, and also she loves their Shu Shop shoe line. Lastly, they carry this baby line and all my nieces who have kids, just love when we bring them baby clothes from there. Super soft clothes and great quality. Anyway, they have so much more even. I love this place. It is decorated so well, the store is easy to navigate, they have quality resale items but also a nice selection of new items and sizes. The baby section always seems to have good deals as does their online sales (make sure you follow them online-- you don't want to miss an online live sale if you've never been!). Finally, I don't know what kind of Jedi training they go through but they seem to remember everyone and all their details LOL. They are so friendly and personable here. I was grateful I found this place when I relocated and I had babies during the pandemic-- they didn't know it, but their warmth made me feel a little less isolated during a time I had moved so far from family. Brought items in to sell and they took 8 items. Called me a few weeks later stating that one item they won't be selling so I can pick it up or it will be donated. I called them back and they took it upon themselves to donate my item. It was a designer pair of black leather and suede pants. Had I known they only hold items for 7-10 days I would have made arrangements for the item to be picked up! When they called they never mentioned that they would only hold for 7-10 days. Representative named Susie never even apologized or even tried to offer some sense of resolution. Horrible customer service read more

MBFC is a Tracy treasure! This store splits inventory between consignment and new women's boutique apparel. I shop here often and feel like I'm always walking out with a fresh look that I couldn't find anywhere else. The MBFC owner/girls are so kind and thoughtful. I've rushed in 5 minutes to closing and they've never rushed me out or made me feel like the clock was ticking to leave. They're so personable and I love that they know my style and how I love my clothes to fit. Just drove from Fremont to come check out this lil store and I was excited that at least I had 30 minutes but the person at the door said sorry we are closed I said your open til 3 and she looked at me and said nope were closed. Pretty unfortunate, I received a fairly pricey gift from here, came to exchange it still in the bag with tags on and a receipt. I was one week after the 2 week policy ( I explained I had Covid - she said I should have called... wasn't exactly on my priority list while sick). She also added that it was a sale price when it was purchased so she couldn't have done anything for my anyways (not what they told the person who bought the gift)..Always like to support local business, and this was a first time here but this really rubbed me the wrong way, Seems like they could have come up with some way to work with me. I took some dresses in to sell after hearing about it in the newspaper. The owner wasn't very thorough at explaining what the contract entailed and I didn't receive a copy either. I came back about a month after initially bringing my items in and the owner could not find my contract paperwork in her binder full of contracts and it took her nearly 15 minutes to find mine. She then proceeded to say that my dresses hadn't even put on display to sell yet due to the influx of products that have been coming recently and it must've got lost in the things they had to put out to sell. I came back about a month later and was already dissatisfied with the service she provided but then she told me that I couldn't take my dresses home and would have to wait till my 90 day contract period was over. This business needs to upgrade their tracking system of their products especially if a customer comes in entrusting you to sell their items and you don't know where they are. For the owner to act like it was no big deal that my dresses hadn't been on sale for a whole month was very infuriating. For a very dissatisfied customer like me she should've just let me take my dresses home right then and there instead of sticking to the contract because I became more dissatisfied when I learned of the 90 day policy. Overall this business is ran very poorly and I would not come back here to sell again. read more

SELLERS BEWARE... I have never before experienced such poor business practice and customer service to a client when placing kids clothes on consignment. New to Tracy, I took some items into Liz in October 2014. I was promised a copy of a contract and given a contract number. Every time that I called she was always too busy or she has a special day for handling this or that and I never received that contract, In her defense I had misplaced my contract number and that was how she could keep me at bay per say and not give me information. Inventory control may be out of control which has me very concerned. Liz is very specific about changing out seasonal items so I am expecting a call with the status of your credits and besides, why would she want to keep items that don't sell... concerning. I have worked with consignments before and they worked hard to keep your business. She has even moved... relocated and did not bother to send an email, text or phone call to a consignee. I am leaving town and I admit that I showed up 5 days before my departure to inquire on getting my items returned. Liz needed a week or more to find my items (I am using her word-find) which was very disappointing This time I had my contract number and she flipped through a black binder and stated that 5 items sold which would net me about $10. So, at this point it is not about the money. As a seller I was welcomed and sold on this store and everything seemed okay but Liz seems to only cater to her BUYER's I will donate my items and profit to the church His Image, 1960 Tracy Blvd... c/o Pastor James Young because I do not want anymore interactions with this business,. read more

Great shop with fabulous finds! I have to control myself when shopping here or else I would be up to my eyeballs in luxury goods! There's always something "to die for" either it be a designer purses, wallets, jewelry, sunglasses and other accessories, you name it, chances are they have got it here! There's a good mix of everything for every style. I also love that they offer Plus Size clothing! Cute and in season in my size. There's new stuff all the time. I found this amazing store by chance when looking around Tracy for some good shopping. The ladies who work there were friendly and even offered to help me look for items if I was on the prowl for anything specific. Then I found out about their Stuff Your Bag Sale, which I jumped at the chance to get a ticket for. Just finished up there earlier today and was definitely not disappointed! I got a wonderful selection of clothes for work or just going out (see photo attached). Thankfully I did purchase the early entrance because it got a little hectic as I was trying to leave.
