I found out afterward that this practice didn't take my insurance, a fact that was never brought to my attention by any of the staff when I made the appointment or while I was there! I went to a different periodontist (that I made sure was in-network), who said that I might not need a procedure at all and recommended a conservative plan of at-home treatment. Cost for visit: $0! Boy, do I feel rather swindled by Peridontics With a Caring Touch.

I am always anxious with my gums, and that has nothing to do with this office. He said "There's good news and more good news." Hearing that, and realizing that there's a good chance that I won't have to have more gum grafts anytime soon, was the biggest relief I've had in a while. Their rates can be on the pricier side, but with the work they do, it makes sense. Not once have I felt that "finger-pointing" feeling at this office, and also, my gums are now in much better shape than from just a few months ago. Highly recommended.
