After moving to Kensington last week, I was admittedly sad to part ways with my old neighborhood laundry service. I even playfully begged them to come this way. I didn't know who again could live up to my (very irrational) laundry standards. Well, in less then 24hrs Omar literally and figuratively delivered! Setting up with him was a breeze, he was super respectful about my families schedule and worked around that with pick up and drop off, and our clothes are PERFECT. He is a gem. I'm so happy that I found him in my new neighborhood. He and his team will be my go to from now on! read more

I spoke with Omar on the phone and arranged to have him come pick up my laundry at 9PM. I had never used his services before, but the reviews were all so great I figured why not. Needless to say 9:00 came and went and he didn't show up. I called and texted him multiple times with no response. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and figured he'd probably reach out the following day. Nope. I will not be reaching out to him or using his services again; he is unreliable and clearly doesn't care about his patrons if he is not willing to even reach out and explain why he didn't follow through. read more

I have so far went here twice and both were wonderful experiences. I have done both self services and drop off services. The laundromat itself is quite spacious and clean. The owner is very friendly and informative. I have never done drop off services before and he made me feel more comfortable with it. This location charges 75 cents per pound which I think is quite reasonable as I do not have enough time to do laundry every week. I am really impressed with drop off services as they always have it ready for me the next evening. All my socks and underwear were sorted together (which is what I usually dread the most when I do it myself). For first time customers, they even give you a free laundry bag and 15% off. I have also had some white shirts that were stained and they came back spotless. Some of my clothing are delicate and those also came back in good condition as well. I am very pleased and I am planning to become a regular customer. read more

In the grand scheme of laundromats, this place is awesome. - It's clean. - It's large. - The people that work there are non-obtrusive (as in they don't eyeball me as I'm trying to wash my underoos) - There is a TV for when you're just sitting around - There is a change machine just in case you don't have enough The major con for this place is that it's a little pricey ($2.50 for the small washer and $0.25/7-minutes with the dryer) read more

My Favorite Laundromat is literally my favorite laundromat ever - and as a Brooklyn native, I've used many! The owner Omar is the most reliable, friendly, and helpful person. He responds to text requests right away and arranges a laundry pickup as early as the same evening. He brings my and roommate's many laundry bags to the laundromat. He returns them the following evening. Compliments to the staff - our laundry ALWAYS comes back perfectly clean and folded, and without any socks missing!! That's a rarity as any New Yorker knows. Omar has been a lifesaver during the pandemic, especially early on when going to the laundromat was a stressful endeavor. He's the best and has even helped carry heavy boxes up my stairs. I just moved out of Brooklyn and wish I could've taken this laundromat with me! What's more, the prices are so reasonable for the full service. I'm beyond grateful for My Favorite Laundromat. We had such a busy week with no time to do laundry, but we needed it done ASAP. I found My Favorite Laundromat on Yelp and realized it was right in between work and home- I've passed this place dozens of times. We've never done laundry drop off/delivery before, I like to wash my own clothes with detergent I trust. After researching a few places I decided to go here because of the reviews as well as the detergents they use. The facilities are very clean, and the employee who helped me with drop off was SO nice. A little less than 24 hours later our laundry was delivered to us. I wasn't there for the delivery but my husband let me know how nice Omar (I'm assuming it was Omar who delivered!) was. The clothes are in great condition as well. If we ever do drop off or delivery again (I'm sure we will), it will definitely be done here. I think I may start bringing my clothes here in general to wash, even though my usual laundromat is less than a block away. read more

My experience with this laundry service thus far has been amazing . Very prompt arrangements for pick up with Omar , he arrived on time and was friendly . The instructions that I gave him was filled to a T. I needed my clothes returned the following day in the evening and he accommodated me and was right on time again . It says that it's open till 10:30 but it's actually open till 9. They want you to be done with drying and out of the site by 10:30. Just FYI. I walked in with my load at 9:30 and he said I couldn't use his machines. Other than that it's not a bad place. read more

I've decided to try this laundromat's pick up and delivery full service based on Yelp reviews and because it was not far from where I live. I was not disappointed. Omar, the man in charge of this business, was a pleasure to deal throughout this process. He is the definition of entrepreneur: hard working, customer friendly, easy to communicate with, and lives up to his word. My first order was not very big but Omar treated me well and made me feel like a valuable customer, even gave me a first time discount! The three big things for me when dealing with a new business is to make sure my contact is a person who speaks English fluently, is punctual/responsive, and is technology-friendly (knows how to text, email, etc). Omar excels in all three categories, which is why I will be a repeat customer going forward. Although this was not the deciding factor for me personally, I should mention that his prices are very competitive. read more

Today was my first and last time going to this laundromat. I came in and started a wash only to find out that there was no hot water. When i went to retrieve the bundle, the the suds from the washer to the right had seeped into my laundry. Although the lady who works there gave me a refund, she had a terrible attitude. If I were you, I'd look for a different laundromat. read more
