After sticking a pin in the front (which took a minute) I requested that the woman pin it up so I could assess the length while sitting down. she screeched for her husband who barked at me in broken English that they don't do that. He also told me I was TOO OLD to wear it that short. I look great in mini dresses and will wear whatever I want. I've had dozens of dresses like this shortened. But to get them to lower their voices I said I would simply bring it home and measure it against another dress for length and come back. At NO TIME did I ever say I would go elsewhere. These people barely speak English, and whoever is writing responses is lying for them. At any rate, to get them to stop acting like animals I simply shrugged and asked them to take in a camisole that is quite baggy. For reasons I'll never understand when I came out the rude unprofessional owner began screaming at me to get out of the store. I know what happened. They know what happened. They were horrible. To make it worse they are lying about what happened. if they would admit to how they acted and apologize I would take these reviews down. Bit because they are liars on top of everything else, I intend to find every way I can report their behavior, including reaching out to others who've had these kinds of experiences and encouraging them to come forward. These people are not fit to run a business and they owe me an apology. This is not over.

Before going to Ace French dry cleaners, I went to several other cleaners closer to my residence, but unfortunately, no one could Steam the dress the same day. Peter and his family took it upon themselves to stop everything they were doing and steam the dress for me on the spot without question, even though I was never a customer there before. While waiting for the dress, I had the opportunity to observe how they treat their customer , and it makes me so happy to know that there are still family operated businesses out there that care not only about the work they do but the people who bring them business. Upon entering the store, it seemed like they knew everybody and greeted everyone by their first name with a warm loving smile and polite chit chat! I usually don't write yelp reviews, but I felt overwhelmingly compelled that I had to let everyone possible know about my experience that a Desperate situation into one of extreme happiness and hope. As I looked at my gown I noticed the rhinestone broaches that were sewn on the strap were missing. I questioned the girl and she said she would look into it and come in when the owner came back. I left my dress there. And so I did. I went back and the owner told me that I didn't remember what my dress looked like and it didn't have rhinestone broaches on them. I explained to him what they looked like and he became very aggressive with me and started yelling at me . He called me a liar. I got very upset. He then demanded that I show him a picture of the dress. I explained that I don't just have a picture on me. He became verbally abusive to me. I told him that I would go to the Better Business Bureau about this and he threatened- I will sue you! I asked for the my money back and the dress. At this point I felt threatened and I wanted to get out of there. I told him that I felt threatened by his aggressive behavior and I would call the cops on him. The woman gave me my dress and my money back. And I left the store. I was very upset. DO NOT BRING YOUR CLOTHES there unless you want it ruined! This owner was extremely aggressive, abusive and completely in the WRONG! They ruined my dress. Horrible customer service. You don't talk to a customer like that- especially to a lady.
