My question that was important to me was if I could deposit money into the cd without getting penalized and I was reassured that I could. So without saying I went to deposit a check today and I was told "No I would get penalized". We have started with BIC well over a year now and have been nothing but forthcoming and excited to closing on this new home. However BIC Homes decided to go ahead and force us to close on a home well before they discussed timeframe we were able to do so. I took the liberty of flying from Hawaii all the way to El Paso to take a look at the home from the outside only because I was told by one of their team members That the home passed quality control inspection and I needed to be there for the orientation. Upon arrival the home I could already see that the home was nowhere near ready and the fact that the home was nowhere near ready had me a palled because I was told that they did everything in their power to slow this project down. If that were the case the home would be in better shape but clearly this home was rushed and a lot of corners were cut literally. BIC homes came highly recommended for their quality of work but I see now the bar is set pretty low. I know I should've never taken their word for it I should've definitely had something down in writing. I as a first time home buyer didn't know any better but now I know I will never do business unless everything in writing. Bic homes Took my money and will now sell my home to a different buyer for 60,000 more than what it cost I believe this was their motivation to continue to put pressure on me that way they can profit more. Losing a $1000 is nowhere near better than getting $390,000 of poor workmanship and quality. Mario acosta Guillermo Acosta are a poor misrepresentation of the company especially how they do business. BIC homes BIG LIES, after living in our house for 2 years almost 3 we have uneven floors, walls,…read morestairs, you name it. When our house was being built we were told construction would be 6 months at most. So we moved into my mother in laws 1 bedroom apt with our 2 kids. After coming to check on the construction for any updates because our agents Magda Acuña and Sam Hallad would never have any real information we noticed numerous 2×4 labeled "chueco" (crooked) and were told they would be replaced because the inspector would not approve of them. Well they have a crook inspector that does the approval of their houses because somehow or someway got approved all the chuecos, and the damaged and britle subfloors and roof and walls that are damaged due to the rains in 2019 that were suppose to be replaced as well. Our house was left standing without any movement whatsoever for almost 8 months because of no workers is what the foreman (CHUY) would tell us. We informed our agent Magda and she then said we should back off and give the builder time or we would in her words would end up getting a "shitty" product. When we scheduled the walk through with both of our agents although only Sam was able to come along with the BIC HOMES rep BLANCA and chuy we marked "everything" with blue tape that needed attention or was damaged in order for them to fix it. We showed Blanca everything that i could see to the eye that was wrong but she was to preoccupied talking and flirting with the foreman and the agent. After going back to review they only went back to do half of the items that were flagged. Our house is a 2 story and we then have discovered more issues like my sons bedrooms that are in top of the garage, the floors are slanted and are visibly slanted during the winter/summer the rooms are extreamly hot or cold as if there was no insulation in the walls or floor. The AC unit duct work was done incorrectly told by the AC people they hired to come check it after a couple of days of us moving in. We also even had the main manager Carlos and Magda come to our house a few days after we moved in so they could personally see all the issues, Carlos came and viewed and did agree alot of things needed attention and or to be done still. One of those being my granite counter tops were he agreed and even called the vendor and asked how they had gotten damaged because they all had holes in them and he asked if i would like them fixed, and if I still didn't like them after 2 even after 2 years he would have them replaced i informed them that they were still ugly and damged all they did was practically put white out some chemical that does not even match the color or texture! He said he would have someone reach out to me the project manager Javier but that never happened of course. We closed on Dec 31 2019 so we felt the pressure of having to close and also because of the position we were at in themoment. They make false promises after false promises (We turned in the form and added forms with the issues to warranty) never heard back. (I still have screenshots and txt messages from Javier that never came though, from the foreman and agents) I also have all the paperwork and contract that was signed of by Carlos of all the incentives we were suppose to get in this house and did not abide by it. I hope that if you are considering BIC HOMES you come across this review first. I wish they would stand to the" best warranty and whatever they promise amd maybe they wouldn't have so many unsatisfied customers.

The loan officer we initially were working with literally just sat on our file for weeks, not getting anything done, not answering our calls, texts, emails, etc. He was then let go. At that time the regional sales manager got involved and reassured us he'd be on top of it, as well as the new loan officer our file was assigned to. Not surprisingly, neither the manager or the loan officer have ever been available to answer calls, texts, or emails. This entire office is garbage, seriously lacking basic customers service skills, zero sense of urgency, and flat out lack of professionalism. I wouldn't recommend them to ANYONE looking to buy a home even if someone offered to pay me to!!!!
