Then we make our way to the tropical butterfly room. Where we spend 10 minutes at most because when we get there. He wants a snack but I know he knows the play area is next. It keeps my toddler busy for hours. And he leaves happy. Surprisingly a fun place for a toddler. I never knew he would be so interested in the bugs but he loves it. And asks to go back fairly often. I recommend it for sure. Especially for young children. You can end your time in the play area. They do close for about 15 minutes each day for a deep clean. I forget the time. On Sunday I found myself here for the first time for an interval training workshop led by a local running store. The grass was somewhat tall and soft to the touch during all of our push ups and other assorted exercises. Being newly aerated the chunks of dirt appeared somewhat poop like (so I was freaked out at first). There are people nearby walking dogs (for some reason they walk the dogs around the park on the sidewalk, rather than on the nice grass - not sure why). This park is quite large. Fields on either end with a children's playground in the middle. Parking around much fo the perimeter too. The one thing I didn't notice was a water fountain or restroom - both of which would have been a great addition to the lovely outdoor offerings.

Horses, donkeys, pigs, ducks, chickens, dogs and a cat - all mellow and there to reach and teach any child. Whether from emotional trauma or a diagnosed dilemma, Kristi loves kids, has a God-given gift to reach them and basically loves them to healthier lives. When I picked him up, he didn't want to leave. Whether it was brushing the donkeys or watering the pigs, the smiles were real. I really wish every kid in the world could experience the love of animals and Kristi. She and her husband and family have the gift of healing through animal therapy. I see a few future vets in the making but mostly I see happier kids!

Never once have they been playing a game during down time, the counselors seem very overwhelmed and inexperience. Also, they no longer own enough Vans and so many times kids will not have a place to shelter in severe weather. The counselors in charge of the 5/6 year old kids wasn't watching the kids at all when I picked my kid up a half hour early. The kids were told to hang out under a shelter with absolutely no games or activities during a day that rained all day.

Zero customer service, even sent out a email saying that they won't be replying to emails or voicemail. UPDATE: Andrea with the social media team was the only person to respond from the entire organization. She was able to process close to a full refund, charging a $25 per session admin fee. Not ideal, but at least she deserves credit for the effort she put forth and timely response.

Kids learn respect for themselves, each other, adults and the environment. Kids have fun as they play and learn different games. Hiking, eating, staying at the cabins or in a tent and doing other activities the camp staff provides. Very educational. Kids learn many things about ourselves as humans, other animals, rocks, land, seasons, trees and weather. They learn things about surviving in the wilderness. Kids learn appreciation for the outdoors and are given a seed that will hopefully get them to get outdoors more and have fun and recreate and rejuvenate themselves in healthy ways.
