A few things: + They provide a yoga mat, as your personal mat will get really dirty! + Located on a beautiful ranch/farm in Loveland. + No need for any yoga experience! The instructor leads the class with basic yoga poses, yet the focus is more of the baby goats prancing on and around you! + The instructor and her husband are really engaging and do a great job of making you laugh. + The farm hosts a lot of animals! From a wild turkey and horses, to the instructors golden retriever roaming around, it's fun to see and pet all the animals. + A small souvenirs shop is onsite with coffee mugs, yoga mats, T-shirt's and goat inspired trinkets! + Makes for a great group event! Lots of laughs and baby goat fun! This is definitely the place to check out for a unique and fun experience!

Not…read morethat I've been in many :) fear not yogi newbies, this isn't really a "yoga" session as it is the perfect excuse to be around the cutest baby goats ever! Yes, of course there is yoga involved. But instead of focusing on the eagle pose, you focus on the fun pose that is conducive to pro-goat poses! The staff was so entertaining and nice! Our instructor did a fantastic job of leading the class and was so patient. All the while a friendly gentleman (I believe her hubby) made sure we all got some quality goat action! No one left unsatisfied that they didn't get the full run yoga experience! I went on my own because I'm a one man wolf pack. But most others went in small groups or with a friend so I imagine it's even more fun when your friends can snap photos all the while there is a goat enjoying your mat. :) Give in to your inner goat loving self and enjoy the quirk that is goat yoga! I dare you not to smile. You'll never make it through without giggling!

The Terry Bison Ranch is the only place I have ever heard about where you can hand feed Bison. They also have other things to do here. We got here an hour and a half before our train departed and we have plenty to do. They have lots of animals on this ranch from full grown ostriches and baby ones, a long horn cow, plenty of chickens, baby bison that you can pet, lots of horses, goats, and much more. On the ride over to feed the bison, they had a train robbery reenactment which was fun. The whole train ride takes about an hour to make sure to use the restrooms before getting on. It's a great place to bring kids. Prices were reasonable. $20 per adult $10 for kids to ride the train and $10 for bison feed which is a must. They give you a decent amount of food in the bag. No reservations needed you can buy tickets at the general store. There they have plenty of souvenirs to buy and can answer any questions you may have. An easy day trip from Denver. If you are on a roadtrip I'd recommend stopping here if you are heading to Wyoming from Colorado or vice versa.

Now, Terry's allows feeding, petting and close up photography of their bison. The resort is a ranch and not the Four Seasons, so let's dial down our expectations and recognize the workings of the ranch. There will be dirt, poop, feathers, hair, urine, and unkempt struck and other things gentle folk may find unsavory. We found the ranch charming. We have experienced many close encounters with wild bison and most were less than rewarding, but exciting. Terry removes this. The train creaks, and groans into the herd. Windows open, and your bison friend pop up for food. You can touch them and enjoy close photos/videos. Kids will love this and animal lovers also. Your trip back the platform will provide some ranch insights and views of horse stables. That was our visit. You may also trail ride on horseback and even participate in dude ranching. We feel the ranch offered all it advertised and we will return with the little ones. Keep up the good work Terry and all the support it.

Joe was excellent, sharing his story and journey and incredible details about the alpaca and the goats. The three goat brothers put on a show. The unique and hilarious personalities of the alpaca provide memories that will last forever. Michelangelo (MJ), Reggie Jackson, Bennie, Walter White and Vincent Van Goat were some of our favorites. They all were amazingly fun animals.

If you are like me and enjoy finding unique fruits and veggies that you don't see in any grocery store or even at your summer farmer's markets, this is the place for you! The drive is a quick one from Denver and once you are there on the farm, you kind of forget where you are! The store will take you back in time with it's simple set up with vintage coolers that store all of those beautiful veggies, and old tables stacked with baskets filled with even more veggies and fruits. There are heirloom options and the choices vary throughout the season as new things come in. On one of my visits this past summer, I picked up a huge bunch of home-grown Edamame that was far better than anything I have gotten anywhere else. It was actually quite fun to remove them from the stems to wash and cook up. I also was able to find beautiful Italian green beans - my absolute favorite and never-able-to-find option. The tomatoes are always a go-to and are so flavorful. I found out how the heirloom options are grown in the greenhouse and how that has provided the sweetest results and can confirm, they are very sweet and delicious. Along with the veggies and fruits, you will also find some locally made goodies sold in a brown paper bag that are a great treat to take for the ride home. Also, don't miss the dried pepper selection! There is also a cooler/freezer with meats and fresh eggs. When I was there, it was golden raspberry picking time and there were many families out for the tractor ride to the bushes to pick their own. Be sure to check out their website for hours - the opening is limited and you want to avoid making a trip unnecessarily and you can find out about special events, picking times for the fruits, cakes, and flowers and CSA share options.
