My niece was turning 5 and had one wish, for Glinda to sing with her. This was the gift auntie Wren was going to provide. I first booked with another company that came up on top during my search. They were a bit cheaper but I should have looked at their Instagram first. Their performers were a mixed bag. Some looked nice, but some were wearing costumes from target. So it shouldn't have been a surprise when the Glinda showed up to the party wearing a very basic pink dress and crappy wig. We probably could've still made my niece happy with that except for the fact that this performer didn't sound like Glinda and certainly didn't have the voice of Glinda. She only knew the song "popular" didn't know all the answers to the kids questions about "Wicked" and her activity was to blow bubbles, even though this company said all of their characters face paint. My niece was very disappointed that the real Glinda didn't know her songs and that she didn't get to sing more. So I reached out to My Once Upon A Time Entertainment. I knew the mother-daughter team that owns it and they are phenomenal performers, so I figured they would only send the best. And I was not disappointed. Jordyn arranged the one on one play date with my niece, and showed up in the most fabulous Glinda gown and wig, she even had the staff! She sounded like Glinda and her voice was that of a professionally trained opera, singer. I'm not exaggerating she was incredible! She knew all the wicked songs and played games with my niece giving her a Glitterific Glinda makeover. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, Elphaba popped in for a surprise sing a long of "what is this feeling" and "Defying Gravity."! They presented my niece with a special bracelet, commemorating the event and to quote Glinda herself she "couldn't have been happier!" I'm quite certain she'll remember this for ever as a very magical experience for her fifth birthday and I can't think My Once Upon A Time Entertainment enough. If you're looking for top-tier entertainers, this is the place. I highly recommend them. I would love to share a picture, but don't know how to do so and respect my nieces privacy. I chose a 90 minute session with one character, Ariel. The girl (Lilly P) who came dressed like Ariel, was horrible. She had no personality. And Did not have a plan. Worst! Is that she took my spot while cutting the cake, who does that?! My daughter is so sad, she kept asking me on why Ariel was next to her, she wanted mama to be next to her. She said she was not happy. Who wants that? Are you her mother?! How unprofessional and disrespectful can you be? She wanted her parent next to her. When you work for another party make sure not to overtake the cake cutting. I would never recommend you. You ruined the day. Ariel - Lilly - You should call your client and go over details of what needs to be done at the party before just showing up in character and not following or having a plan. You suck! Please get better at what you do or don't do it, because you are crushing little girls hearts! Your glitter tattoos were lane, not a single one stayed on. Everyone complained. Your focus was on you. Hired a Batman for my sons 4th birthday. Could have been a total disaster. Batman arrived early, came in full costume/character, and was such a hit. He even brought a bag of tricks to do activities with the kids.
