Pets with treatable conditions he didn't mention there were any treatments for, pets he managed to mess up while euthanizing, one he brought out post-euthanasia while she was still taking reflex breaths (when I pointed to her in horror, he just pushed the air back out), one died at home after being sent home while still totally unconscious from surgery with blood oozing from the incision (he shrugged that off when I asked)... Basically, he's fine if you want your pets to only get the veterinary care that was available back when any pet that couldn't be treated with prednisone, Clavamox or surgery was put to sleep. Though if that's the case, I'd still recommend going elsewhere so they won't suffer.

A billing arrangement isn't a service to your client if records of prior payments are omitted. My elderly mom (who passed a few months ago) claimed several times AEZR was double billing her for our family cats and pug, and after paying the last bill out of my own pocket in 2014, there's still no record of any such payment, or any other payments for the past 4 years, which is totally untrue. The last time I paid a $100 installment in order to get a $15 glands expression for my pug, mom was really upset - claiming she'd already paid off the outstanding amount and that I should not pay them any more. When we had our second cat, Corky, put to sleep in 2013 (paid for at the time, I have the receipt still) I'd left her overnight to confirm her status as terminal and in the morning found her in deplorable condition, worse than when she was dropped off. Dripping - soaking wet, shaking and clearly miserable. Couldn't they have at least kept her dry and warm? To this day I feel I made a terrible mistake leaving her there, night before she was put down. Dr. Zamora has a cold bedside manner about euthanizing and actually whistled to himself during and after. They then tried to charge an exorbitant disposal fee and $50 PER NIGHT to keep her in their freezer while we decided to make arrangements for her burial. When I went to pick up her remains, I got back the same box I brought her in. I had to bury her little frozen body myself. Today, I brought in my pug with a tumor - waited about 30 minutes and after being admitted to the exam room, Zamora brought out his file folder with its incomplete records and said a remaining balance would need to be settled before he would treat my pet. Needless to say, he refused to acknowledge the prior payments, accused my recently deceased mother of lying and had a few choice words for her and myself. Unbelievable. Please, do yourself and your pets a favor and avoid this vet and his practice. The office staff (his family) are quite friendly and supportive but that can't make up for the horrible attitude and fraudulent/negligent billing.

You should never buy a puppy from a retailer. These puppies have their origins in puppy mills…read more(breed enthusiasts will never sell to a retailer) and will not have had the right care and attention a small puppy needs in order to flourish. There is no way of knowing their background or health. A recent study has shown that such puppies are more likely to be aggressive, and by purchasing them you are perpetuating the puppy mill system which causes great distress to animals. I rescued a "puppy" from Noah's B'Ark and had the worst experience. Aggressiveness signs showed up right away and we wanted to give the puppy back after trying for months! We left endless voicemails and we never got one call back! Don't be tempted to buy a puppy from outside a pet supermarket or any other kind of store! Reputable breeders do not provide puppies in this way, and no reputable dog breeder would ever have to sell puppies through pet shops.

If you spend time with a dog, like him/her,…read morefill out the application and somehow prove you're not going to sell the dog to some animal testing facility or dog fighting ring, you can take the dog home for 2 weeks and they'll hold your fee check. If, after the 2 weeks, it doesn't work out, you can hang your head low and bring the dog back. Worst case -- the dog wonders WTF happened but at least you got the dog out of a cage for 2 weeks. That way, if it doesn't work out, you don't panic and take him/her to a kill shelter where they'll kill him/her because they happen to be overcrowded that day. Seriously. I like that Noah's B'Ark rescues dogs from shelters. It sucks that they don't take dogs from Lake County because I know they're desperate for help, but Noah's does take dogs from other shelters in the area, and in general I think that's an absolutely HEROIC thing to do. Especially since there are so many dogs out there who DO get euthanized due to overpopulation in shelters. A lot of the dogs that come to Noah's are placed in foster homes and their foster parents work with them on behavior, potty training, overcoming anxiety, etc. I've talked with Rawna several times, as well as a few of the foster parents who were at Petsmart on the weekends. It really seems like these people love the animals and want them to be okay. That's another thing I love about this place. They bring some of the adoptable animals to Petsmart in Rohnert Park on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 to 4pm. It gives the animals exposure, and the reps from Noah's are always there to answer questions. I'd definitely recommend going there to meet the animals and fill out an application (or fill one out online before hand -- it's quicker!) if you're thinking of adopting a dog. They have puppies and purebreds if that's your thing! Yay!

And they said "as a courtesy" the would resend it out 1x. It's now another month later May 24th and I just called to request a refund since i still havent received the medication. Also by this time I have already returned the kittens because their flea problem had got to be so bad my apt was infested and the kittens were suffering with side effects. Worms, bladder issues etc. Anyway the manager on the line said they have an "all sales final" policy. So nevermind i paid for something that I didn't receive 2months later. Nevermind I paid for something that I cannot use if it does ever come in the mail. Nevermind I chose a company to help solve my problem and the problem was exasperated waiting on their help. I do work during the day but i have so many relatives in my neighborhood and there are a wealth of dog walkers and sitters in the Novato area i thought for sure i would be able to adopt. Nope. Sorry. I informed Petpals that i had to work to pay for dog food and my mortgage but it seems that the magic word is I WORK FROM HOME or I'M RETIRED. This does not seem to be fair to normal people that need to work. The little dog i wanted to adopt would have been the luckiest dog in the county and would have been treated like a little prince had they given him to me. NEXT TIME, do not become prejudice of us normal, working folks, because we have a nice warm place for a loving animal, good food, fun dog walkers and we have a place in our hearts just waiting for you.
