Quality service quadrupled! We were greeted upon arrival by Max, the Assistant Manager, and everything pretty nearly went up, up, up from there. As it turns out, Max is a transplant from San Diego and we had lively discussions about San Diego, the military, great nearby places to have breakfast, family. We felt like we'd walked into a friend's home. The room was very clean, with the necessary amenities. The room even includes a cooking stove, full size refrigerator, coffee fixings, etc We were only here fur a few hours of sleep before the next part of our trip, but we will remember Max, his great customer service, his tips - he even looked up information on our next hotel for us - without being asked. read more

I thought rooms in Bozeman would be plenty and cheap: guess again as it's a gateway city to Yellowstone. On a Wednesday in late June many places were booked. And the few that weren't were expensive. For $168 including the pet fee My Place was one of better deals in town, yet even the nice desk clerk admitted prices are crazy high in this no frills town. THE BED: Comfy mattress and great pillows, but the frame creaked loudly every time you moved! Major deduction. The facility is newer and felt clean. The room was spacious: new TV with lots of channels, big fridge, super comfy lounge chair, microwave, closet area, and modern bath. My Place is on the edge of town, but perfect if you're pulling off I-90. On that note, the cars whizzing by create white noise, but once you're conscious of, it's all you hear. read more

The toilet wasn't clean. spots all over the seat. There was a piece of TP behind the toilet, Room was very obviously not vacuumed. No hairdryer though there was supposed to be. Lots of freeway noise. Heat couldn't be turned down. Toilet ran. (The manager did clean toilet and vacuum at my request). We love all of the "my place hotels" because we get to bring our dogs BUT we're immediately turned off by the front desk in Bozeman. Why? It's quite alarming to see someone with "white pride" tattooed on his neck and "white boy" tattooed on his arms and knuckles. I happen to be white and found this to be incredibly disturbing and extremely insensitive to anybody who may be checking in to stay (that isn't white). Not the first impression I was hoping for. He can have his tattoos but maybe front desk in hospitality is not the best place for him. Maybe he should cover them up while at work? With everything going on in our nation, this makes me extremely uncomfortable. read more

I always chose the MyPlace to stay because the rooms are typically nice. However, this stay I found a cockroach in my room. When I informed the front desk they didn't seem to care, they made a note about it and that was it. I'm extremely disappointed and probably won't chose this place again after this experience. Hopefully they inspect and solve the problem but honesty they didn't seemed too concerned. read more

This was our first stay here and was surprised!! The room was super clean and larger than most motel rooms. Staff very nice! Just a fyi ask for an odd number room as the even numbers are same side as train and interstate. We had odd number room and was quiet. All rooms come with kitchenettes. We did not use! Yellowstone flooded & closed, so we were out of luck. We called to reserve a room here and the woman told us, "Better hurry! We only have one room left and I can't reserve any rooms over the phone." After acquiring the room and checking in at her front desk, she very sternly told us to not smoke ANY where near the front door or in the parking lot out front. We left the hotel to sight-see what we could & she was smoking in front of the building with 3 friends. No Swimming pool, no hot tub, no gym, but it was $200 for a night. Reserved 9 rooms 4 months ago, hotel overbooked, only got 5 rooms 18 of us riding motorcycles cross-country for a charity fundraiser made reservations in March, and had a valid confirmation. Got a voice mail at 1:30 today (can't answer the phone on the motorcycle) saying only, "Call us." No other info. Arrived at the hotel - and they're overbooked, and there are only 5 rooms for 18 people. Desk clerk said he "couldn't get the manager on the phone." People who arrived after us (while we were arguing with the clerk about our reservation, and were told to go to a different motel 2 miles away) - those people got rooms. Corporate office is closed from July 26-August 12 or some such, according to their voice mail. And to top it off, the guys who got rooms discovered the hotel doesn't have an ice machine for guests to use. Could have been worse, though: I got a nice room at the Rodeway. read more

They were having a bad night! Bill at front desk was so nice. Man ahead of me was given three different rooms each one had not been cleaned! At looked as though a dog may have been left alone! Poor guy was a driver out of hours and had no choice but to keep looking for a clean enough room! I thought he had three bad rooms whats the chance i would get a bad one but asked to see room before check in!!! See photos WOW!!!! We were placed across from housekeeping and the laundry buzzer kept going off. Around midnight I went to the front desk. The night clerk agreed it was annoying but said he could not do anything. We continued trying to sleep while interrupted (frequently) until our 4:30 flight. Ended up paying extra $40 for an Uber so my 18 year old son could get a little more sleep before driving across Montana. The clerk indicated this is a common problem and that management has not done anything to resolve the issue.....never again my place. read more

The room looks clean, has decent amenities...a recliner, nice tv. Bed is uncomfortable but really wasn't expecting much. But what's really a problem here is the paper thin walls: I heard a guys entire conversation while he was talking on the phone with his father at 5 in the morning. I love this chain as a person who travels 80-90% of my time and most of not all of that is with my 2 well behaved and trained small dogs! Because this is such a new chain to the hotel/Motel market they are all clean and fresh and have the most comfortable recliners ever!!! I stay with My Place every chance I get because I know I'm pretty much guaranteed a clean stay with new furnishings, beddings, and carpets; and I love the kitchenette in each room. Always comfortable beds, easy locations for both on and off highway access and access to food and shopping options. So far noise has not been an issue at all for this chain and I've stayed at many across the west. I did take away a star for this location because the highway traffic could be heard throughout the night and a train went by once maybe twice during the night but the noise wasn't overbearing or a deal breaker more like in dead silence could be heard. read more

The staff here was the best!!! I left my injectable medication in the fridge and was too far away to turn around to get it, so they packed it up and are holding it till ups can get it!!!! Stayed for a little over 2 months at this extended stay for work in Bozeman. The staff is very friendly , welcoming , accommodating. The place is clean & well maintained. Never stayed in any My Place hotels before, chose this one as it was closer to the airport. WiFi didn't work, so I didn't get to do much work during the stay. Also, it was pretty hard to find a parking space when I got back from the airport at 11.30pm. read more

This was my second stay at a My Place hotel. All in all it was a favorable stay. What I've noticed about all the hotels in this chain is that they are all modeled about the same. The rooms are the same, the layout of the hotel is the same, the amenities are the same. You get the same friendly service, clean rooms (spacious, too), outstanding linens (higher thread count than many other hotels), comfortable beds, functional washer/dryers, coffee nook in the lobby etc. I had no issues with this particular location except that it was a little dirtier than my last stay and the location isn't necessarily the best (not necessarily bad, either). read more

Bed super comfy. Convenience store inside hotel was great to feed kids, they had fried rice that we made in the microwave. Wifi was fast and they allowed our two small dogs for a reasonable rate. I stayed at the My Place Hotel mostly because it was the only place left with a room for move-in day at MSU. I stayed there 4 nights. At first it looked a little dated, but on closer examination, it turned out to be in excellent shape. More modern furniture and good beds, very clean, the nicest staff you could ask for. Cat and Ron and the older gentleman (I'm sorry I don't remember his name) were very friendly, accommodating, acted like they appreciated my business. Every request was met with a timely response. The kitchenette had a full size frig, 2 burner stove, coffee pot, lots of room to prepare a meal and VERY clean. (You would have to provide your own plates, cutlery, and pans in which to cook) The room had a little eat-in table. On a side note: we had a fire alarm go off at 4:10 am. It was very scary, but I was so impressed as to how Ron handled the evacuation of the hotel. He was going up and down the hall single-handedly making sure everyone was awake and made their way out of the building whether you were on the 1st floor or the 3rd floor. He kept in contact with the Bozeman fire department who arrived a little late . Ron didn't want anyone re-entering the building until the firefighters gave the all clear. Once the firefighters arrived, the alarm went off twice more. Ron was re-assuring everyone and explaining the cause of the alarm going off (which was a pipe burst in the sprinkler system) He did a fabulous job and kept his cool. I will definitely return to this location. Very happy. read more

Worst "management" team I have ever dealt with. Changed my stay from 1 night to 2 nights at check in and got a receipt after swiping my card for 1 night. Not only did they charge me for 2 nights but the second charge was $30 higher than the rate. After making multiple calls and being assured a manager would call me, I called and got ahold of Calli who wouldn't even give me her name until I asked 4 times. I found out later she is assistant manager to GM Victoria. Calli did not help me in any way and seemed put out of her way so nothing got resolved. After posting a review on Google GM Victoria called me (2 weeks after my first call!) and told me that, since I had left a bad review, I would not get a refund and would need to go through my bank. I have done that and will be getting a refund for the fraudulent charges. Victoria could barely speak English and should not be in customer service, let alone a manager. This place is trying to scam people during the pandemic. read more

Me and my family had booked this hotel for our vacation in Montana but we ended up having to stay in Salt Lake City due to our plane being delayed so we weren't able to stay in the hotel. So we called the hotel and asked about a refund and the person on the phone said that they would leave a note for the manager so that we could talk to them about it. We then called the next day and asked about a refund and she said that she had already charged us for the entire stay. We explained to her that our flight was delayed yet she still refused to give us our money back. The manager was very rude on the phone and we will not be staying there again. read more

Be careful if you make a reservation here and you have an emergency. Our flight had a delay causing us to miss our connector flight to Bozeman. We were stuck overnight in Salt Lake City. I called as soon as I was off the plane to tell them we would not be coming and the circumstances. We were told we may not be charged and to confirm with the manager the next day. I called and she did charge our 172.12. She did not care at all that we had no way to make it and we were"t just no shows. She had no empathy and was no help. I stayed here with my team of speech, drama and debate competitors. The front desk was very helpful and on top of it: I had an invoice and receipt slipped under my door the morning of checkout. 3 star room with 1 star beds. The hotel seems new, which is probably why it was nice. The room was very clean, featured a nice kitchenette with a full sized fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and a stove top. There was a laundry basket (no laundry bags like most hotels) to take down to the laundromat inside the hotel, there was a hot tub, a small shop inside that sold frozen meals, snacks and travel essentials. They do allow pets and have a great selection of cable channels. No continental breakfast-but the option of paying for a customized breakfast be brought to your room. The hotel is right off I-90, and in the route of landing aircraft and right across from a railroad track making for a very noisy location... Shower was small, with weak water pressure and cheap, thin towels. The room was hot no matter how cold I turn the thermostat down to. The beds are the reason why this was my first and last stay with a my place hotel. The beds felt like sleeping on a slab of granite. I contemplated sleeping on the floor to seek comfort. Tossed and turned all night, switched beds, and woke up with a very stiff back. They seemed to go cheap on some of the most important things, which is why I won't be a returning customer. read more

This is a fine, basic hotel. It was clean, in good repair, easy to access;. great beds and wonderful pillows. The towels are fluffy and soft. The kitchenette has a full-size refrigerator with freezer and a full-sized microwave. These work well. The two-burner hot plate-like stove top is marginal as the big burner would not flatten so cooking on it was very awkward. We didn't come prepared with swimsuits, but the large hot-tub was inviting! Ambient temperatures were -3° to 8° and the building was very comfortable. Coffee was the best hotel coffee I've ever had. Rooms are cleaned on 4-day rotation so pick-up after yourself. Staff were friendly and helpful. The laundry facilities were clean and offered multiple coin-operated washers & dryers. read more

Been here since December 3rd, for the most part its decent, housekeeping is not consistent and they don't know how to count. They clean the room every 4 days, no problem with me, however not sure if they count four from the day cleaned, the day after or day after that. Mine is usually cleaned every four. The longer I have been here it goes to five. No biggie for me, except I know they don't touch your shit which means when I count to four I have to put everything away, so I do this sometimes three days in a row (my math is pretty good) and it is never under three. My big complaint is INTERNET, OMG I first had internet in 1995 remember that click on a link brew a pot of coffee, drink a cup sit at PC good. Here click on a link build a house, take a shit, jack off, sit at PC and refresh. I am a tech geek so I ran a scan and there are at times over 1200 devices connected to this motel. I have no idea how if each room had 4 devices connected that would be 300 rooms (which I do not believe they have) I could be wrong, beds are ok, don't know his name but the foreigner at the desk is the happiest, friendliest and always happy to help and goes out of his way to do so. Some of them act like Crap I have better shit to do, I am only leaving a two because the INTERNET SUCKS SO BAD I am considering leaving, I was planning on being here until June possibly August. read more

Hard to believe, but this particular MY PLACE rates 10 stars out of 5!!! They are very busy, yet never fail to make you feel at home and sometimes like YOU are the most important guest. Granted, the architecture of the hotel is not fancy. However, every single detail of this hotel has been so incredibly well thought out. The beds are so comfortable, we lifted one of the mattresses up gently to write down the brand name and model. The lighting and layout and quality of the rooms and furniture is wonderful. It is pet friendly, AND COMPLETELY AND SPOTLESSLY CLEAN. The common areas downstairs are well placed for efficient use (the sitting room/business/coffee area is great; the laundry room is great, with amenities; the spa/jacuzzi room has a lovely shower area). There is a little "My Store" with the usual kitchen and food and laundry, etc. items that people forget to bring. And, best of all THE MANAGEMENT IS OUTSTANDING. Drop by and get to know Vicki, and Melody, and Brandon and the whole crew. You will be so glad that you chose Bozeman My Place. P.S. this is not a paid advertisement.
