Torn to give this place only three stars but they deserve it for their mediocre customer service and management. We've stayed in this establishment several times and we feel the front desk personnel keeps getting weaker. Last visit we felt like the room wasn't super clean and the kitchenette amenities were minimal-hardly any paper goods. There was only a half used roll of paper towel. Same thing with the Kleenex box and there were no extras in the cabinets. The restrooms in the lobby were unkempt- broken toilet that stayed broken (with used toilet paper) for our entire visit. (((The best thing about this hotel is the spacious rooms. You can get a room with a kitchenette and living room area which can be nice when you are traveling with kids or are staying for a long period. This hotel was build recently-thinking 5 years ago?? So it's always nice to stay in a newer hotel. ))) But most importantly the front desk wasn't helpful, at all. They have this "power play" attitude- there's one person in particular who we felt liked to dominate the interaction/convo and liked to argue with guests in a passive aggressive way.- this is the last thing you need when staying at any hotel! The front desk people should be courteous, friendly and always willing to help. If I were to guess the root of the problem I'd say our bad experience stems from bad management. Their current front desk attitude is... customers come last! Which to be fair seems to be a Montana thing.

Great place to stay. One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Great view, clean rooms. Fitness center was nice. Rooms are large and comfy.

I've heard that the chef brings out the food at this restaurant. This time was no exception. The chef brought out my tartar. I hate to say this, but I was not really impressed. The presentation was lovely and the meat was fresh and delicious, but I think it had a little too much going on for it. The potato chips which it was served with were just a little too salty and seasoned for my taste and I prefer stick to be as simple and mostly focused on the real true flavors of the meat rather than the spices and the herbs which it is served with. Everything was overwhelming, and unfortunately, the taste of elk was a little too muted for me. Nevertheless, it was a lovely dish and I will definitely try other dishes at this restaurant. Next time I visit. The prices are pretty high, but I think the quality and definitely the times match the type of items that they serve at this restaurant.

To be quite honest, I don't think I'd stay here again when in Bozeman, depending on the circumstances. The hotel is nicely situated near Main Street and is an easy walk to many of the shoppes and restaurants in the area. Checking in was fairly easy and the person working the desk was extremely informative and friendly. The lobby was decorated nicely, with plenty of seating. It was strange that there were just stairs up to the front door, the accessible entrance was all the way around the building. We checked out other areas by the lobby. You can walk up to the balcony of the theatre and take a look at it from there. It was being decorated for Nutcracker brunch so it was super cute when we saw it. We visited the restaurant and both the bars. We also joined the social hour a couple of times. The social hour is great and I appreciated that they did this. We went up to the pool but didn't swim. It was nicely heated so you could be in it year-round. Our room was clean and smelled nice when we entered. The bed was comfortable and clean. We were on the 8th floor so there were no people sleeping above us so it was nice and quiet after the bar closed. For some of the flaws, I booked a mountain view and would not do that if staying here again. The train horn was super loud and went on all night. The shower leaked and the water landed on the huge metal plate over the drain. It was the loudest thing ever and we ended up having to put a towel in the shower to dampen the sound in order for us to sleep. Also, the fire alarm had a really erratic light that made no sense and sometimes lit the whole room up in an eerie green light. These flaws were fairly manageable. The worst thing (and the reason I might not stay in this hotel again) was late check out. They do it "first come, first serve" here, meaning you have to call around 7am to try to get a late check out, which is just given to you, no question about WHEN you need to check out. We decided to just hang out at the airport for the rest of our time because our late check out was just one hour. They also don't preemptively re-key your card, you have to wait until you can't get into your room anymore.

Just check out my pics... clean, adorable, comfortable!! Beds were great. I did get a suite so we had extra room, and it's probably the only room I would rent again as it is so absolutely lovely. Vintagey and mid century modern I cannot get enough of it. Tiny details everywhere you look. Staying for only one night is tragic, and I might cancel our 5 star hotel anniversary celebration last day of vaca splurge stay next week when we fly home just to stay here again. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Price is a little bit high but I think that's everywhere these days right but so worth it. Little bit of street noise but honestly nothing to really mention but I didn't hear any neighbors, not sure if that is the usual or not but I was extremely satisfied and happy and hope when we return I have the same experience. Be warned the cafe attached makes the parking lot completely full but it clears out after breakfast at least it did on a Saturday so not sure how that works for guests if they can't find parking! SIMPLY THE BEST.

However, the room was SO cute and quirky that I easily looked over it. They were also super understanding with a little emergency I had and allowed me to check out an hour later at no cost. The receptionist, Zoe, was such a sweetheart! I'd love to come back here with my girls during the summertime.
