I have to agree with the reviewers here! I bought the coupon and I was SUPER excited to go with my boyfriend. I tried calling them for a reservation...for 2 days straight and no one picks up! Finally a lady picks up and told me that shes really busy during the days and mornings and that I should email her. Fine, she gave me her email address. Every time I email her, she/they replies back a week or two later. NO JOKE. Here and there she tells me what she has this available or asking questions about my boyfriend and I (height, weight and etc.) or if I can do this day or that day. Yet when I reply within that second, i won't hear back until 2 weeks later. BY THEN those days that we "settled" on already past!! Days goes by then weeks then I'm looking at months going by!! . I bought this coupon in like Aug-Sept. HOPING that i can enjoy this in the fall with my boyfriend! By November, forget it. The horseback riding experience itself was fun for us, total beginners!!! Horses were tamed and thankfully, no one fell off or got injured. 1 - Reservation - Bought my voucher from Groupon. Reserving the date on the website was a breeze; however, cancelling and rebooking another date was a nightmare!!!! No one would answer the phone or email in a timely matter. We emailed them to change from Sat 10am to Sun 10am; a few days would go by before someone wrote back to say "Sun 10am is booked, what about 2pm?" I replied "OK" immediately. Then a week goes by and finally someone replied, "Sorry Sun 2pm is booked, how about another day?" By the time they replied, the slots were already booked. It was ridiculous! 2 - Day of Ride - Helen, the owner?, called us at 7am and told us that the trails were closed, because of the heavy rain the night before. I was offered to either to reschedule or ride the arena. There is no way I am going to reschedule, so we went. We arrived 45 min early just to check out the farm. There were 4-5 staff there; all young college-like ladies, plus 1-2 older women. The farm was open, with cats and chickens roaming freely around. We signed the waiver form, grabbed our helmets (gross, small and dirty!), and mounted our horses. 3 - Horseback Riding - Our horses name were Aurora, Jupiter, Levi, and Lakota. The 4 horses trotted in a line; 2 staff were walking and leading the first 2 smaller horses my daughters rode. For an hour, we rode around the outdoor arena, and up and down the driveway path twice. My 10 year old daughter said "We were not really controlling the horse that much. It was boring, because part of fun was to learn and control your own horse the way you want, but that did not happened." They did not offer any riding lessons or stories of the horses or rescue facility. No hot cocoa either. read more

What we got was an hour of horseback WALKING while being led through circles in the woods by 16 year old girls ON FOOT. Came here for a beautiful fall trail ride. The farm itself is beautiful, chickens of all colors roam, 3 lovely cats, alpacas and horses galore. Like many experiences here, don't expect a 4 star concierge service. This is a shelter for rescue horses so they will have an attitude. The horse handlers have a relationship with the animals that we don't know about. Not everything we see in Disney reflects real life so if you see a hand being raised or shouting then that's a life and relationships no tourist visiting from their sheltered lives in the city would understand. And most of the workers I see here are at most three young 20 something 130 lbs, under 5' 7" women dealing with twenty seven 2000lbs horses on a depleting budget every day plus farm animals. Give them a break. That being said, the trail ride is becoming quite a business for them. Like people say, you can catch more flies with honey. So this place needs a little more refinement since they are promoting trail rides are 4 different coupon sites. But for now, if you don't mind a little roughing around or like a little trial by fire riding horses this place is good. read more

I had great time here for my birthday last weekend. My boyfriend bought a Gilt City deal for horseback riding. While the farm didn't look like what I expected it to look like (just animals, no crops or food), it was pretty open and you were allowed to roam around and see all the animals on your own. They had horses, llamas, chickens, pigs, everything. The trail ride was fun, but a little short (only a half hour out on the horse while the other half hour was spent getting training on the horse). I'm really only giving 2 stars instead of 1 because there were lots of animals on the farm that were fun to look at (several dogs wandering, some pigs, llamas). I've been trail riding a good handful of times and I was really excited to go riding up in New York where I figured the scenery would be beautiful. However, I was completely let down when we were done. It's no wonder they've had this groupon going for so long, I don't know who would pay full price and want to go back. It wasn't even worth the groupon rate. The people working there were very friendly for the most part. They paired my friends and I up to their horses and we lined them all up, which was not an easy feat. The trail we rode was probably 20 minutes of level riding in the forest and then another 25 riding in circles around a field. The entire thing lasted about 45 minutes (I thought I paid for an hour?) and the horses were doing just about whatever they wanted, not listening to commands. One person in our group dropped a pair of sunglasses so the guide went off to pick them up and my horse took off in full gallop. Luckily that only lasted a few seconds. I'd recommend this for families because it's such a boring ride, but it's not particularly family friendly since the horses are a little unruly. In general, huge waste of money and time driving all the way up there. read more

I went up with a group from NYC for moonlight ride. Sadly the moon was not out but the starts were enough. The staff was very nice and helpful. The horses were beautiful and extremely well mannered. Had no problem controlling the horse even with my limited knowledge. I'm 6"2 so its hard to find places that have horses I can ride. This horse was fun and like me took long strides. 1 hour from the GWB. Honestly worth the time. Was very peaceful, the area is beautiful making a day of it next time. read more

Very poor customer service and professionalism. I took a trip to ny with some family and friends hoping to get some riding in. They cancelled the day before through email when we already made the trip over! I understand things happen nut after someone makes a second trip and you do the same thing dont you think a refund is due? Not being cheap i just cant go to this place because its sooooo far from me! I'm a regular rider and thought it would be fun to take my less-horsey friends on a trail ride. The place was clean and the staff was friendly, but the trail itself was soooo disappointing. We did a few figure-eights around the barn and parking lot. All walk, no trot. Short and boring. The horses look well-fed, but old and in need of farrier attention and a good grooming. Some of the tack looked very ill-fitting--lots of spots where the hair was completely rubbed off. If this is your first venture out on horseback, this may be the right place for you. Short, flat trails on quiet horses in English tack. If you're looking to explore the terrain a bit, or get a nice little trot going, skip this place. Will not be returning. read more

My friend and I took advantage of the Gilt offer and went up for an hour long lesson. The staff was super kind and accommodating--allowed us to do a half-hour trail ride followed by a half-hour in the ring. The barn was orderly and all the animals (horses, goats, pigs, dogs!) were very friendly and well taken care of. I got a Groupon for this stable a while back. Unfortunately, weather and other things lead to us postponing out rides until winter. I'd say the grounds would definitely be more beautiful in the fall.. But the horses are well trained and very easy to handle. I've gotten a Groupon for this during the holidays - 'ride for 4 people + hot cocoa'. Only the two of us went because we were unable to book it for 4 people. I also advice to book this ahead of time. We got there about a half an hour early. So, initial reaction was pure happiness as we were greeted by the sweetest dog, Gandalf. Also, we were greeted by a lady, who told us to meet with a person in the barn so we can proceed to ride. We signed the papers, and was instructed to grab a helmet. I suggest to bring your own helmet if you can. I believe that bicycle helmets are acceptable. (Helmets are a little bit over-used, and no disposable protective covering for hygienic purposes.) Since the weather has been unpredictable, and had recently rained, most trails were closed. She said we should've received an email; however, no email. Pretty much, we just went around in circles, and went to the beginner trail. All in all, it was an okay experience. I think it would've been much better during warmer weathers. The young trainer was nice and informative, told us some stories, and that the animals were rescued. I was happy and hoping that some or most of the money would go towards the animals. We both love hot cocoa; however, no hot cocoa after the ride. We were looking forward to it because it was also about 30 something degrees outside. read more

My boyfriend and I are from Yonkers, NY and we found My Saddle Brooks Farm on Groupon. We scheduled our horse back ride originally for Valentines Day but due to the freezing weather MSBF had cancelled and offered us to reschedule. We waited until the weather was nice and warm and we were easily accomodated for a new date. We corresponded with Helen and we're able to easily book a new ride date for May 2nd. The day of the ride we got there 10 minutes early and Helen and her staff processed our paper work quickly and easily. We started our ride on time (12pm) and enjoyed a full hour of riding. We did several laps around the in closed horse track to become familiar with how to command/ride a horse and then we hit the trails for about 40 minutes. The ride was relaxing and exciting and my boyfriend and I enjoyed it very much. We went out in a small group of 4 adults, 2 kids and with 2 young adult staff. The staff members that lead our ride were enthusiastic, friendly, and knowledgeable on handling horses. In fact one of them lived on a farm and handles horses on a daily basis. MSFB is very kid friendly and definitely a great place to return with our 5 year old son. There are also other animals to enjoy after the ride. I would recommend this place for new riders! I would like to start off by saying that My Saddle Brook Farm is one of the best places to go for horseback riding. The staff was soooo friendly and kept very good communication through our reservations. My girlfriend and i visited the farms yesterday as part of a 1 hour trail ride for two. We got there around 3:45 and where on the horses by 4:00 I really enjoyed our time on the trail and I thought that our tour person was very insightful on their horses. We had Strider and Rayne. Sometimes my horse (strider) ate up the grass which slowed us up some but overall it was great riding.. I recommend My Saddle Brook Farms for first time riders and any horse riding enthusiasts who just love to get out there and ride. My Saddle Brook Farms really went above and beyond in making our visit a great one and we will be returning to their farms soon. 5 out of 5!!! read more

I was there this past weekend with my three daughters. We had a great time. The farm called before we left to tell us that the trails were damaged in the recent bad weather, so that a trail might be too dangerous...but that they would take care of us in the rings and possible a small trail. They took very good care of us. They gave us much more than we expected in the ring and time for us to review, renew, and get reacquainted with horses. We had not been on a horse in years...but actually use to run a trail ride service....so we may have been critical..but there was really nothing to criticize. The people were great..the horses were cared for and you got way more than the horse ride. We were met by the best pig I have ever seen, chickens, rabbits, and a few great dogs.....like Hercules in Sandlot. So great.... They left us with a coupon to come back to. What a great day. My only suggestion would be a can of lysol in the helmet room. We could call care for our helmets that way. read more

Unfortunately, this place is only a good experience if, you've never ridden horses or are a small child. They take you around in a fenced ring, then down the driveway and then in a small circle in the woods. The ride was really disappointing. Wanted to really love it but couldn't. The guides are nice, mostly college girls, the horses are nice, but the "trail" is not a real trail. They just take you down the driveway, a short way into the woods (maybe 2city blocks) turn back around up driveway again and then just take you around the perimeter of the barn and back again. There is nothing scenic or interesting about it unless you find passing the neighbors backyards interesting. Also, on our ride they brought us back after only 45 min not realizing they were early and then just took us back down driveway portion again for 10 min. Would definitely not go back. If just the experience of riding a horse is OK for you then you might like it - but if you are expecting an actual trail ride then look elsewhere. read more

The experience was a VERY TERRIBLE complete and utter travesty . February 28, 2016 10:51 am on Sunday.. ( appointment for 11 am) A friend and I enthusiastically drove all the way up here from New York City, sitting through and sifting through traffic. We drove three and a half hour from bk and Brooklyn , just for them to tell me its was " closed. I was completely dumb struck and SHOCKED because not only did we have a reservation for that specific time. We also reviewed an email confirmation of the time / date. So I was thinking that it was a very sure deal, and that I will be able to go up there and ride the horses and ride the trail NOT!!! When I got out of my friend's car.. I was met with very cold and unreceptive customer service. To this moment I'm not sure exactly what transpired, but all I know is that the personnel was receptive to my friends who are Caucasian. When I came out of the Car = They claim to be closed for business! At this moment, I was way too devastated to make any type of rebuttal, was just really shocked and my friend did mention that we had an appointment/ receipt + voucher for the time that ( we showed up early for. ) The staff claimed that All of the Horse were sick and not only is unable to ride but also with a CONTAGIOUS ILlNess... If theyre letting white people ride, and not me. What am I supposed to think ? Theyre handling Caucasians with standard customer care & completely Horrible to me. The photos that I posted, are out on the grounds itself, but it's not worth mentioning with the customer service being so terrible, incompetent and racist. It was very shocking to be turned away ( went to celebrate my birthday) hear the news and excuses about the Horses being sick on the ranch not being open but after we were issued invite + after we paid in full . IN ADVANCE. Then drove 3 and 1/2 house on top of that. . The whole bullshit excuses of the Horse being sick, did not sit well with me , because A very young caucasian girl came after me & was issued a horse.. I can always have the charges reversed to my card, which I likely will. But I will not return there, I may be mistaken... But I have a hunch I was discriminated against. Because staff was nice and helped everyone except me. Even for all of the malarky excuses that they were given to me why I cannot ride and lying and claiming that the Horse was so sick and that the place was allegedly closed( after inviting us there =via email) THEIR WEBSITE NOR SOCIAL MEDIA MENTIONED " SICK HORSES" they seemed actually, happy and open for business and consistently inviting people down to ride the trails. Groupon. 4ppl. It took 5 days to make a reservation with everyday phone calls and emails. Got YELLED at by the owner. People cannot keep track of emails/voicemails and constantly refer you to the broken website. Missed the desired date due to late reservation, had to go a month later. Shit show continued. 2:00 Only small size helmets. Feet keep sliding out of BROKEN STIRRUPS, which lead to our group member FALLING OFF the horse upon mounting. 2:15 Group goes in circles around the training ring. 2.25 Instructor ON FOOT walks the group in CIRCLES in the forest the size of a football field. UNBEARABLY SLOW & BORING. Horses keep jamming & get nervous, which lead to one HORSE KICKING the other one and a rider nearly FALLING OFF, for which she got YELLED at. 2.50 Finally, got out of the small forest to make yet another CIRCLE around the farm and come back. 3:00 Group dismounted and held horses (turned out to be hungry). Due to limited space, HORSES STEPPED ON THE FEET of 2 members, who instead of getting assistance got YELLED at once again for trying to push the horses away from their feet. RESULT: Out of 4 farms, we've visited, this was the worst experience from the beginning to the very end. Have not seen members of my or two other groups thanking the farm stuff for the day, which was mutual. 1 member fell off the horse. 1 nearly did. 2 members got horses step on their feet. 3 members got yelled at. 4 members had the shittiest experience. There are plenty of friendly and professional farms out there giving you a safe NON-CIRCULAR ride through a picturesque countryside, so STAY AWAY from this one. read more

I got a groupon as a gift for my birthday and it turned out to be a total disaster. I've been having lessons and I thought it would be fun but I was wrong. First of all, booking with them is very confusing. Their online scheduling system is a mess. But after multiple emails with Helen and Kristina, I was able to set up the booking. My husband and I came in for our scheduled date. The young girl (approx age 11-13) helped us and had us sign the waivers and instructed us to get our helmets. Shortly, we were instructed to ride our horses. My horse in particular is acting very strangely. They couldn't even let it go as they have to walk my horse for the whole time. Before we even started, the horse would eat everything on the ground as if it hasn't eaten for days. I was very afraid because it was acting strangely but having the girl walk my horse is a little relief for me. I have not experienced this before as I was taking multiple lessons in Long Island already. Before we even left for the trail ride, the other horses kept on walking off and the older lady who worked day is very rude and was screaming to the other riders. They often slap the horses multiple times when the animals won't listen. Obviously, the horses here are not trained well and was mistreated. When we started our trail ride, I was surprised to see that in a group of 6 people in horses, it was only the young girl who was walking with my horse who was with our group! Next thing you know, the horses are roaming off and was not following. Then, I heard my husband from the back screaming as his horse ran off and him just bouncing off the horse's back. The horse suddenly stopped which caused my husband to hit a tree! It was a shocking sight! After the incident, I thought the girl is leading us back to the barn due to what happened. But somehow, she decided to continue on. In less than 5 mins, the same thing happened to my horse! The horse that I was riding just suddenly ran off and I fell off the horse hurting my pelvis, my whole back, and my neck. I wasn't able to stand up for a while due to what happened. No one from the barn even helped me after this. It seems like seeing people falling off their horse is something they see all day. No one even gave me an ice pack as per the young girl's sister said, "they don't have one". No first aid, no nothing. They were even rude when my husband asked them for any first aid. So, if you're looking for a fun and safe horseback riding experience, DON'T GO HERE! HORRIBLE! PEOPLE ARE RUDE AND THE HORSES ARE NOT SAFE. Total negligence!! read more

This is a farm which rescues abandoned animals, so we suppose to expect this place not going to be super tidy and clean?? Sure, i can see that they are understaffed....needs more helpers, but this place is a mess, dirty and chaotic. The horses seemed happy enough but they are not really well trained (Remember they are rescued horses...so they probably have some behavior issues). My recommendation is that the staffs would need to explain the nature of this facility by giving us more details, so the visitors can help out (either financially or volunteering), however, they did nothing to explain about the situation of this farm. They are not very patient with the visitors neither. We gave the staff a tip anyway, seeming her running around like a headless chicken with so many animals to take care of...feel kinda sorry for her. Plus her kids (i think its her toddlers are running around on the farm too), its a lot to handle for only two adult staffs.. But..pls remember that... Kindness goes a long way if you want more funding. (a good example is North Shore animal shelter- friendly staffs, clean, and organize). Yep, the groupon deal is good, but they offered no hot cocoa. I want to give My Saddle Brook Farm five stars so badly, but alas, I have to minus a star for the fact that they were a bit disorganized that day. I bought a Bloomspot offer for a 1-hour lesson and trail ride for two some time in March and made a reservation way ahead of time for mid-July. A friend and I made the two-hour drive to upstate NY and were looking forward to his first and my second horseback riding experience. Upon arriving, however, there were no signs pointing to a parking lot, and we kind of had to circle around a little bit to find the farm. Then there was no one outside to greet us. We ducked into the barn and found one of the employees, who said that there were no more reservations for the day. I informed her that we had made the reservation months in advance and that Helen had already marked our voucher as redeemed a few days ago. That's when she brought us into the office to check the schedule and saw our reservation on the computer. She apologized for the confusion, stating that Helen had printed the wrong schedule for that day and that this had been happening all day. At least she honored our reservation and got our horses ready, but she also warned us that our horses are pretty tired from all the trail rides they did (more than usual because of the schedule confusion). We weren't going to drive two hours back without a ride, so we said it's okay and proceeded with our lesson. Our horses, Locota and Charlie, for the most part were great. I had a little experience being on a horse before, so I knew the basic commands and was able to command Charlie easily (except for when he kept wanting to eat the grass). Locota was unfortunately misbehaving a little since he was tired, so my friend had some trouble controlling him. I felt bad for the girl that was leading us around at first because she couldn't get the two horses to listen to her and got fed up, so she asked another girl to take us on the trail ride. The second girl was more calm and friendlier and seemed to have more control over the horses. The good news is the horses were pretty calm on the trail ride, so we had a great time overall. We'll definitely come back again, hopefully when there is less confusion and the horses are more rested. read more

Beautiful place, lovely animals. . however one person, who seems to run the place, was pretty rude and mean. Not only to me and my boyfriend, she was mean to her staff and the horses as well. They give no clear introductions or instructions on how to control and handle the horses. One person will say pull on the reign while another person will say let go, you're choking my horse! I've seen two staff membera raise their hands like they were going to smack the horse... and one actually did. I asked one staff how long has the horse been here and she said, I don't know. We circled around the same area for quite a long time. Kinda boring. At the end of the trail, we were told to get off the horse, two ppl actually fell off. (they did not provide a step ladder to come down, just expected us to slide off the horse.) after we got off, the staff just walked away and left us alone. No type of goodbye speech or anything to send us off on our way. We did not even get the hot cocoa that came with our groupon package. Overall the place is not worth the time spent to get there. I bought a voucher on gilt for a 60 min trail ride with a drink. The drink was not provided and the trail ride was 45 mins max. I ended up getting a horse that refused to move if there were grass around, because it just wanted to chow down on it. That in itself took 15 mins of the 45 mins to get the horse moving, I'm not sure why they provide me with that horse even though it was my second time riding.... I wouldn't expect myself to be able to get the horse to move...at the end they gave you another coupon for a trail ride at half off to come back. So my friend and I bought a 2 for $60 deal on Groupon and must I say, this is definitely up there as the worst 30 bucks I ever spent. We both love horseback riding and have done it many times and were looking for a place to have a nice scenic ride--as we're both from Queens and thought a 2 hr drive north would be perfect in terms of land space and cool trails--boy were we disappointed. So for starters, we go to the place, fill out a waiver, & were sent to a room to pick out our helmets. Then we got on our horses and everything was so far so good. Then the guide announces that we will be starting in the arena to "get everyone used to their horses". The arena is a circular space where i'm assuming riders train judging by the steeples and things for the horses to jump over that were in the center. OK FINE, no biggie, we had people in our group who have never ridden before so its understandable. So we get to the arena and then it gets really really boring. We circle the damn thing legitimately like 7 times AT A HUMANS WALKING PACE because the "guide" was on foot the entire time. Now if it was your first time on a horse, maybe this would be fun but 7 times is very unnecessary. I felt like they were just trying to kill time because their trail part probably sucked-- and my God it did. So after going in circles 7 times the teen announces that we're going on the trail. We walk down a path/road which we drove on to get to the farm make a quick right and just go straight into what you can barely call woods, around some trees, back through the "woods" you just came from, towards that road, cross the road to the other side which goes up a small slant around some trees and basically do that about 4 times. I just want to make a few things clear. -If its your first time riding, MAYBE you would enjoy this, but my advice is to save your money for a much better first experience as this one was extremely weak. -The "guide" was on foot the whole time! I've never been on a trail ride where the guide wasn't on a horse him/herself. -Lastly they didnt really ask us at the end what we thought, if we had a good time etc. (Probably knowing the answer wouldn't be in their favor). -On top of all this, the Groupon was supposed to come with a beverage at the end which my friend and I never saw....so that was cool too. Overall, save your money. This was a big waste of our time, money, and gas :/ read more

My friends and I had a ton of fun at the farm. I got to ride Reeses and I'm in love with him. When I got on the horse the instructed told me all the basic commands so I would be alright while I waiting for everyone else to get on their horse. Everyone was so sweet and the horses are all gorgeous. I wish I could have taken him home with me. Haha thank you again My Saddle Brook Farm. Those with groupon coupons- I went to the website and booked my ride and filled out the information for each rider on a Tuesday for a Monday ride for the next week. no issues at all. My best friend and I purchased the tickets on groupon, and we're scheduled for 12:00. We got there got set up with helmets with no help on sizing. They had two instructors in the indoor arena. My friend and I both have never been on a horse in our life (25 years old) and there was a family with a very experienced rider. We walked around for about 20 minutes inside and my horse was not cooperating, and I was doing everything the instructor was saying. After the second instructor was told to leave ( the man holding my horse) it was just us and the family of 3. She said we were all going in a line outside to walk around the outdoor arena. I told her I felt okay if she stayed with me. We all lined up and my horse was still not listening and bothering the other horses. She did not make a point to stand near me at all. About 5 seconds after we got outside my horse tossed me off his back and the instructor was 4 horses in front of me, not even close enough to prevent the situation. I had fallen in mud and was covered, luckily I had a sense this horse was going to do this and landed safely. All in all this was the worst first horseback riding experience I have ever had. The farm asked if I was okay, but I wasn't. I'm not sure I why the ONE instructor was walking with the experienced rider and left my friend and I who have never been on a horse in the back. My Saddle Brook Farm is a horse rescue and schooling facility - a great cause set in a beautiful location. As the reviews state, it is challenging to use your groupon to book here, and it does take the staff a long time to get back to you because they are busy running the farm during the day. Your dollars go to the care of 20+ rescue horses, so feel good about the cause you are supporting as you navigate the confusing booking process. If you cannot book your reservation online, use the email address on their website Expect a response in a few days and a reservation to take up to 2 weeks. Look out for an email the day before, instructing you to get there 20 minutes early and bring printed release forms. If you can't do that, not a problem. (But do take the "20 minutes early " policy seriously so that you do not feel rushed.) Wear jeans that you don't mind getting dusty, and ideally shoes that support your ankle (or sneakers.) They will provide helmets. The owner and assistants are very sweet, accommodating people and this is a great option for beginners. It may be a bit slow-moving for more experienced riders. The trail is mostly around the woods that surrounds the farm, and groups can be relatively large in the summer. However, the farm is beautiful, with chickens, alpacas, dogs, etc. All of the horses are well behaved and patient with young or timid riders. We really enjoyed ourselves here, and could not stop talking about how beautiful the property was and what a positive experience we had. If you get a chance, ask the owner for your horse's rescue story. Every one of them has one! read more

Went here with my cousin and had an excellent experience! The girls there were very nice and helpful, they made our ride very enjoyable. It was great to see such a variety of animals on the farm, and to see that all the animals are being treated the right way. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is interested in doing a trail ride or lessons. read more

This place was awesome! We arrived and there was a scheduling mixup....but no matter....they saddled our group of 9 up and we had 3 guides and a great ride. The ride was nose to tail with the workers leading the horses...but that was fine as we had 7 kids. We rode thru lovely pastures and woods and it was picturesque. The horses are all rescued and docile and gentle....the kids LOVED it. I would highly recommend it. We had a voucher so that lowered the price. We were not rushed and discussed her farm and other animals also ( all rescued...a pot bellied pig, nubian goats, jersey calves and a steer and a collection of dogs). It was a great time. read more

myself along with a group of friends and family (10 in total) went over the past weekend, most of us have not been on horse in decades, and the rest not at all. Helen, John and the rest of the staff were great, the helped us remain calm and were great with those who were flat out scared, and timid. The grounds were well kept and the horses and other animals are being taken good care of and very friendly. I rode Utopia :) We will definitely return. read more

This place is also know as Saddle Brook Farm Animal Rescue and I took a riding lesson with this location and the owner Helen was very nice and she has 29 horses,9 Alpacas,1 Llama,1 Donkey,1 Mule,2 Emus,1 Pig, 1 Cow, Numerous Chickens, cats and dogs that are rescued animals and I've had a good experience with this Farm. and now I'm thinking doing an internship with them during college read more
