I recently bought a kitten from Neli at My Scottish Fold and can not be happier! Cheese is a playful, affectionate kitten with unlimited energy. Neli is an outstanding breeder who truly cares about her cats. She kindly showed me the parent cats and ensured we had all the paperwork for Cheese's shots. She even gave me food, toys and his favorite blanket to take home free of charge. She couldn't stop hugging cheese goodbye when I picked him up, which was so sweet. If you're looking for a responsible and experienced breeder who takes amazing care of her charges, I would absolutely recommend her.

We meet our baby boy about a year ago and I am with big pleasure want to write my review about "My Scottish fold". We have absolutely perfect kitten with puppy behavior and very intelligent at the same time. During all this year we have never had any health problem. We absolutely happy to have Shanti.

My husband and I adopted our first kitten from My ScottishFold and had an amazing experience. I have always loved Scottish Fold cats and did some research on where to find one in the Los Angeles area. I found My ScottishFold while browsing several catteries online. I inquired about adopting a Scottish Fold and requested to be contacted once a baby female kitten was available. Months later, Neli, the breeder, sent me an email letting me know that she had 2 female kittens with folded ears available for adoption. My husband and I set up an appointment to meet the kittens and fell in love with one of them. We placed a deposit to hold the kitten for a couple of days while we prepared our house for her arrival. Neli was accommodating and very kind. We signed adoption papers a couple of days later and were able to take our kitten home. Neli gave us food and toys, free of charge. We also received proof of vaccines and an after visit summary from her most recent vet check-up. Yes, our kitten was pricier than most other breeds, but she is adorable and worth every single penny and more. We are so happy to have her as a part of our growing family!

    His name is Mars.

Margie is incredibly caring, honest, ethical, and knowledgeable. It's clear that her puppies are raised with lots of love, attention, and excellent care. Our puppy came home healthy, happy, and well-socialized. As first-time puppy owners, we especially appreciated how much time Margie spent educating us about puppy care, feeding, and the transition home. She was always patient, responsive, and supportive. The adoption process was smooth, transparent, and stress-free, and she was very accommodating throughout. A wonderful bonus was the complimentary 30-day emergency pet insurance coverage. Margie also owns J'adore Pet Salon in Glendale, which is great for grooming, and offers boarding and dog-sitting services as well. If you're looking for a trustworthy breeder who genuinely loves her dogs and stands behind her puppies, we highly recommend Margie and California Dulce Goldendoodles!

The Bravos were incredibly kind, accommodating, and truly cared about making the transition as smooth as possible for both us and Wanda. It's clear how much love and attention they give their dogs, and knowledgeable about their dog breed. We absolutely adore her and are so grateful to the Bravo family for bringing her into our lives. She's unbelievably intelligent and obedient; while some of that is environmental, a lot of it clearly comes down to good breeding. Charles is excellent at what he does, and it shows in the quality and disposition of his puppies. The not-so-good: As other reviewers have mentioned, communication around timing can be a bit inconsistent. I completely understand that traffic and unexpected events happen, which is why I scheduled pickup specifically to accommodate his preferred timeframe. Despite knowing I had an evening commitment, he arrived more than 4 hours after the agreed-upon pickup time. A simple heads-up would have made a huge difference so we weren't left waiting around for so long, especially when we ourselves had to make a 1.5 hour long commute to meet him. Final thoughts: Charles truly seems like a wonderful person; I think very highly of him and his work. The only area that leaves something to be desired is punctuality, but otherwise he's fantastic. I would 1,000,000% recommend him!

First off, I want to say our new dog (Bella) is wonderful and is going to be a great pet. She is 7…read moremonths old and is starting to adjust pretty well to her new home. I want to give Charles credit for breeding/raising a beautiful pup and communicating well enough for us to learn about her and adopt her into our family. Now for the negative. We discovered 20-25 live ticks on Bella within 4 days of picking her up (picked her up on 4/11/20). We found ticks all over her body including her face, rear, and in between the pads on her paws. She had numerous red bite marks from ticks. We also found 2 fleas and discovered a substantial amount of flea dirt in her fur and on the fabric anywhere she had been sitting. We live in San Diego in a condo and she has barely been outside, staying on one area of grass and sidewalks. She very clearly did not pick up the full amount of ticks & fleas within a few days of coming home with us. After a trip to the vet for blood and fecal matter tests, the vet confirmed that she was positive for a parasite - Giardia. We paid quite a bit of money for Bella but it feels more like we rescued her from a shelter than a caring/attentive breeder. And quite honestly a shelter might have checked her more thoroughly for ticks and fleas before the transition to a new owner. Charles has communicated his sympathy and provided suggestions on treatment but the presence of ticks in this quantity on a puppy that he was selling is extremely concerning. I've asked Charles to cover the cost for one month of flea/tick treatment and the parasite treatment but he has not responded to these requests. He has not offered to cover any of her treatment and it's stunning that he wouldn't offer a small refund ($50-$100) for the flea/tick or parasite treatments. I'm hopeful this is a one-time issue but it leaves doubt about the care and attention the parent dogs are receiving. It also creates a lot of uncertainty since Charles is adamant about keeping customers away from the breeding area (his home). Our primary complaint is our new pup Bella was infested with ticks (and a few fleas) within days of adopting her, but we also were annoyed on the day we picked her up. We originally had planned to meet at 2:00 pm but on the morning of the exchange Charles asked if we could move it to 3:00 pm. We had no problem with that. We showed up a few minutes after 3:00 pm but after several texts and phone calls did not see Charles until about 4:30. Charles did call back once at 3:30 to say he was 20 minutes away but did not contact us when he arrived 40 minutes later. We found him, and the puppies, only when we noticed some other families holding puppies across the parking lot. As I said, I'm hopeful Bella's ticks and fleas are a one-time incident and Beachwood Canyon runs a clean, safe breeding operation but it certainly makes me doubt things more. It may be that since he mostly sells puppies he did not think to check her. I would like to think that is the truth BUT please make sure to do your research and ask ample questions.

Choosing Marti was easily the best choice I could have ever made and I am forever a client of Marti's. I will never look elsewhere when adopting my next Havanese (or a breed that isn't a Havanese, for that matter). I adopted Cookie, formally Cartier, from the "C" litter. From our first phone call in Fall 2024, Marti was attentive to the details of my life and what kind of puppy temperament would be best fit for my lifestyle. She is kind, SO communicative, and the most detail-oriented, loving, and caring person/breeder. Seeing how loved these puppies are far before they are even born was constant reassurance that I made the best choice. I would receive multiple texts/pictures/videos a day when Cookie was born. So anxious and excited to get my puppy, Marti answered all of my questions and was always so reassuring and kind. Cookie came to me loving her crate (this was a game changer), being exposed to so many sights and sounds (her groomer says she is better behaved than adult dogs she's been grooming for years ), and is the epitome of a perfect puppy and I truly owe it all to Marti because she set Cookie (and the rest of her litter) up for complete success. Everyone in my life is so surprised when they hear how young Cookie is because she is truly so well behaved, has a great sense of independence, and loves to just hang with our crew. Thank you to Marti and Gracie for loving these puppies with your whole heart. You both feel like family and I cannot express my gratitude for how you raised little Cookie.

And I love that I can do self service washes in between his full grooming times or when they are fully booked. But the last few times, the front desk staff has been unfriendly. I've tried to just play nice and ignore it but today was the last draw. As I was drying my golden and noticeably struggling because he hates the blow dryer and moving all over the place, the one of the front desk stops me and asks me to blow in the other direction that fur is going everywhere. I said: sorry but he doesn't like the blow dryer and don't you see me struggling already?! Then he proceeded to pluck his hair as if all the fur went in there directly and put a mask on (for dramatics). At the end at checkout, I explained to him that I didn't appreciate his quip and the fact is that he works at the front desk of a grooming salon... that it was rude and made me feel so uncomfortable that I left with a wet dog. Anyway, I try to always support small businesses but not at the cost of poor customer service. Too many other choices... y'all need to figure it out.
