We needed three toilets removed, a water heater drained and moved to the garage, and three sinks disconnected (unscrew the water source, and disconnect the drain). A week later, these would all need to be reinstalled. I called All About Home Repair and they said that they couldn't give me an estimate over the phone, but they could send someone out the next day to give me a quote. If we didn't end up using them, we would pay a $39 callout fee. If we did use them, it would get credited towards the overall project cost, which seemed reasonable to me. Keaton came out and gave me a quote stating, "It will be over $2,000." I balked at the cost and said that it seemed EXTREMELY high as I have pulled a toilet before and it takes less than a half hour (and that included the time watching the YouTube video of how to do it). He asked me how much I was expecting and I told him I didn't think all of that would be over $800 on the high side. He said they couldn't do that and I said I couldn't do their price. He charged me the $39 callout fee and went on his way. I called the office Manager, Stephanie, and she was very nice to work with and talk to. With that said, I explained the situation and she said she would like to talk to Keaton and then get back with me, which she did just 15 minutes later. She told me that he had not offered me some of the packages that he could have offered (since all three toilets were at the same location), but that he never felt like he had the chance to do so. She went through the pricing with me and it still came out to about $1,200. In the mean time, I was able to secure another plumber to do the work for $600. So while I appreciated the work to get the bid down, it was still significantly higher than what the market is dictating. Stephanie was also kind enough to cancel the callout fee of $39 without me asking (which is why I bumped the rating from a 1 star to a 3 star). In conclusion, Stephanie and Keaton were both nice, but the pricing of the company is the highest I have encountered.

Myself, and my 85 year old father pulled the carpet, removed the carpet pad, and moved one piece of furniture. We had two fans ourselves (one being industrial) that we put in the area, and then called Tobin. They came and supplied a dehumidifier and a couple of fans. Tobin stated that it would be around 900 dollars. Which seemed reasonable because we handled most of the hard items. The following week, the dollar amount was paid in full, and the fans were removed. My father then received a phone call stating that what was just part of the amount. They wanted $2200.00 more! They stated they have two separate departments. One that tears down and one that puts it back together. This is not agreed upon verbally. Then claiming there are two separate departments when this was NOT communicated upon arrival at the house. Their invoicing practice is fraudulent and dishonest. I will NEVER use them again for any business. I recommend ANYONE ELSE in Idaho Falls. Don't bother having the owner respond to this review. Update: Tobin's owner visited homeowner and reduced the bill.

Absolutely amazing service. We experienced sudden backup from our sewer lines…read more The first visit was on a weekend and they were at my house within an hour. Got things working, but then we had another issue a day later. Jason came back and cleaned everything out again, but did not charge me because it was from the original issue. The following day, it happened again. Ben cleared the problem, but then began mapping every line I had and found there was a plastic line leading to the outside of the house where the should have been an external clean out. Spencer then showed up with another gentleman with more tools and better cameras. We had had a window well put in and did not realize the cleanout had been broken in the process. They dug down (manually with a shovel) about 3 to 4 feet until they found where the cleanout pipe had been broken. They flushed it out, ran the camera to make sure there weren't any surprises, fixed the cleanout, then cleaned everything up (including putting away some hoses I had loaned them and closing all the gates). Initially, they were not going to charge me again! There's no way I could feel good about that. They worked so hard to find and resolve the issue, which they did: permanently. Everyone was so nice, hard-working, and unflappable with the issues that arose. My home is older, so I am setting up yearly maintenance with them, and will be, happily, doing business with them for a long time to come. I cannot recommend them enough. Through a really difficult and stressful event, they made it not only bearable, but even pleasant at times because of their demeanor and candor. She never warned me about possible up charges or extra fees. She was always polite with my questions and scheduling and returned my call. The bill came to almost double for pumping. I was told my outlet pipe needs attention. (This was not part of my bill) I was quoted 3 to 10 grand. Calling around getting estimates other companies to show up asking questions. That's when I was told I was taken advantage of, they charge between 350 and 400 flats fee. One includes digging up the lid. I felt very naïve and embarrassed after talking to other companies. Other than that, the guys were polite and answered all questions and worked diligently to complete job. It's Just a shame greed takes precedence over service.
