I'm so glad I found My Water Store! I was out of options for great-tasting water at a reasonable price, that didn't involve single-use plastic, so I stopped in one day to ask about their options. Mike was friendly, helpful, and patient, and after listening to my long list of "challenges" of where I could put a dispenser, suggested a great dispenser/bottle rack that works perfectly for my very small space. They didn't have one in the store, so he ordered it and they brought and assembled it for me with my first water delivery. Their water tastes fantastic, their prices are very reasonable, and I love that I can get the 5 gallon bottles delivered when needed, rather than having to commit to a certain schedule. I just call when needed, and they deliver fast--usually same or next day. This is a great business with a quality product, competitive pricing, great service, and friendly people. I have no clue why they are price gouging? Yeah there is a pandemic but 50% or more increases on their Sodastream product refills is unacceptable! So beware and write to corporate as I have done and take your business elsewhere. The last time they charged over $22 from what I can get at Safeway for less then $15. The previous time I went there they wanted to like $40 but I wrote that off as a mistake for Sodastream's larger refill container. I recently bought 2 bottle racks (5bottle) at $85.99 ea total $182.30 then found online for $52.00 when I contacted them to see what they could do they did nothing and said no returns no exception tuff luck even after doing business with them for years. I would suggest if you buy there only get water nothing else before you check around and even then check you might find cheaper and better water else where. read more

They do not treat all customers equally, when they are supposedly a first come, first served operation. They do not help with the bottles, despite the 100s of $$ spent on topping up the customer account card. Service here is not nearly as good as the original Drink More Water store. read more

I would like to bring to the North Potomac/Rockville community's attention a recent experience I had at My Water Store on Travilah Road. I have summarized the experience in a compliant filed with the Better Business Bureau. I urge you to consider any future dealings with the store. I have been a long term, over 30 year, customer of My Water Store and it's predecessor Drink More Water. Today, I went in the store to refill two five gallon water bottles. I also needed to buy a punch card for 40 gallons as I've done for years. The Store Manager (JD) told me they have a new FOB system and that I would have to complete a signup. Fine. I began the process. Name, phone number, email. All good. Then I have to give my birthdate and agree to sign up for emails and text messages. I tell them I don't want to signup for email or text messages. JD tells me it's the only way their system works and I have to sign up for their emails and texts. I tell them its a privacy concern and he tells me that that's the only way it works. I can pay $1.49 a gallon (which is way more than I've paid in the past). When I ask to get the contact info for the owner, he will not release any contact details. I tell him this is terrible customer service and he simply repeats that I can pay $1.49 per gallon. My Water Store has had good customer service in the past. Right now it is terrible and violates my privacy rights. I would like to speak to the owner of My Water Store to have my concerns addressed. read more

I have been patronizing My Water Store since it was still Drink More Water. The water is still a delicious purified water. However in the past few months their customer service has significantly decreased. The hours posted on their website, social media sites, and on their answering machine are not correct. I have made several requests via social media and answering machine requesting they post the correct hours. In addition to opening up an hour or more after they say they open, they will be closed at random times during the day for disinfecting. There does not appear to be a specific schedule as some days you will arrive at noon and the sign on the door says they are closed until 1 pm. Today I arrived shortly after 1 pm and the sign on their door said they were closed until 2 pm. I returned an hour later and waited for 20 minutes before being served due to a long line. read more

I've been a customer for about fifteen years and started with the prior owner when located in the Trader Joe's shopping center. Prior to now, I always received good service. I purchased bulk cards at discounts during the holiday season, and have a dozen five gallon bottles so I refill infrequently. Today I learned that the more than $300 worth of prepaid cards I own won't be honored. The onsite staff was polite and competent. I contacted the manager via email, and offered to drop by, turn in the cards, and switch to their new platform. He shared that they stopped honoring prepaid cards about one year ago due to counterfeit issues, gave customers ample notice, and couldn't help. My cards are not counterfeit, and I don't recall being informed they would be invalidated. There are applicable prepaid credit/debit consumer credit laws, which may be applicable here. Regardless, I won't spend my dollars here again, and because of the lack of any accommodation whatsoever, I encourage others to avoid My Water Store, too. New location is inconvenient and in an unlikely location for a retail operation. read more

I called the water store at 3:21 p.m. on a Sunday. It is their last day at the current location and I wanted to make sure I refilled all my bottles to get me through the week they are closed. I called to make sure they weren't closing early being their last day, because it's a good 25 minute drive for me. I try to minimize the amount of trips. The guy tells me they're open until 5:00, but get there by 4:50. I said ok great! I left my house immediately after the call and drove straight there. I arrive at 4:01 p.m. and I'm greeted at my car by a worker saying they are out of water. Yes, the water store ran out of water. I said I just talked to you on the phone. He said, yeah we didn't know we were running low because are gauges aren't accurate. I said, I don't have any water because I wanted all my bottles empty so I could fill them all, the week you're closed. He then offered to sell me a case of water. I said, I don't want to buy water, I have 125 gallons in my account I already paid for. He said sorry, then proceeds to hand me a flyer showing their new location. Umm..yeah, I'm sorry you guys are moving, but it would have been a struggle to drive all the way to Gude drive anyway, but with this last incident I will be sure to go elsewhere. I've been a customer for 21 years, going back to the Drink more water days and the only option they had for me is to sell me a case of water with 125 gallons sitting in my account. I wouldn't have even been as upset if I literally didn't just call them. It would have saved me 75 minutes of my day plus wasting gas. read more

After driving through heavy traffic, I reached the store at 6:50 pm and was turned away. The worker at the store said that they close at 6:50 pm, even though the sign says they're open until 7 pm. I haven't been to a single place in the county where stores won't let customer in until the official closing time. I've been a customer of this store for ages and the service is nowhere what it used to be from the Drinkmore days, and now this is it for me. 2 employees inside store not wearing masks today 12/5/2020. (I was wearing a N95 healthcare worker mask) I was told they would not fill the 5 bottles unless bottles were brought into the store. I have been a customer since company was near the airpark Gaithersburg and have a 35 year quadriplegic son on life support. I refused to take the bottles into the small store, took the bottles near their door and both employees still refused to fill the bottles. 30 days ago I came to the same store and they took the bottles out of my car, filled the bottles, and put the bottles back in. I request the owner of the store to call me. I have left a message on the email to the store requesting a phone call. I have paid for 7 bottles (punches left on the cards) and request a refund. Charles used to be the owner, no longer the case. I will not be back but expect a refund for the 7 bottles and a phone call. If you need water, check this place out!! The water is really that good, it even LOOKS delicious!! I guess my only issue is that a prefilled 5gallon jug is like $15, but you can get 5 gallon deer park jugs at some grocery stores for like $6 and then just use that jug to refill at this store! I've been coming here since before my angsty teenage years when it was still called Drink More Water! Load up on your punch cards and quit buying your silly bottled waters (I type this ironically as I guiltily sip from my bottle of Aquafina because I forgot my trusty water bottle). The water here tastes better than tap water that runs through Brita/PUR filters. None of my water runs are that memorable but it was fun coming here right before a big hurricane when a line of 15+ people strap together all their 3- or 5-gallon containers and waited for the store to open. Great stop to get some extra water on a bike ride. Loads of chilled bottled water (small ones), and the manager let me fill my bike bottle from the spigot (bottle filler) as well. Only improvement would be to offer chilled water from the spigot just to fill up cycling bottles for less than $1, and to save from using more plastic. read more

I have been using My Water Store for many years. I am experiencing a bit of frustration. They have moved their location according to the sign on the door. I then drive to the new location and it is not completed yet. The message on the recording states they are opening the new store on Wednesday( not date indicated) and that is when they will be receiving call. I called today and left a message and never heard back. Still do not know if I can get my 3 bottles filled. Their water is awesome but their communications is a bit weak. I have been buying bottled water at My Water Store for several years. The reverse osmosis process produces excellent tasting water that I know is pure. Their new location is a mile or 2 from their old location, but the convenience of parking and curb side service is much appreciated. Water should be perfectly tasteless. That would be an insult for anything else we eat or drink, but for water to taste good, it should not have a taste. The water from this Water store is delicious. It doesn't have any taste at all. It's pure. It's delicious. And it's all I drink. Strongly recommend it.
