I was dropped with no notice (the professional thing to do is send the patient a letter to let them know why the office doesn't want to see them and recommend another doctor). When I called in this past spring to set an appointment and to my surprise I was told I can't come in. I had never missed an appointment, been late or missed a payment in years. I was given NO notice of any kind! Why would I set an appointment if I had been dropped? I was shocked and did not know why. Their answer was pathetic. Bottom line is if you dare think of your self and question things that goes against their totalitarian way, you're gone. Also, they're terrible about returning calls in a timely manner. I'm talking 2-3 messages were left over several days with no response. You just get bounced around too much but mostly not called back at all. Do not fill out the "how are we doing" surveys, they'll use those against you! There's plenty of other better doctors out there, do your research!

I was lectured at the window in front of other patients by a name tag wearing receptionist that I was late, which was obvious. She told me that I would have to reschedule and I said I don't think so and I'd be happy to find another doctor. The problem with the office admin is that they patronize the patients and treat them like crap and they're gate keepers. If you try to get to the doctor to complain they will block you and send the office manager, who is not the business owner. I'm sure if the doctors heard from the patients about the office admin there would be a staff change. The other thing I can tell you is that the office waiting room is never full, maybe one or two other people yet the office staff can never ever work you in if you're really sick or need something on short notice. They couldn't be bothered. I had the office manager pull the "well we're only contractually obligated to see you within 24 hours by your provider". If that's they way they want to run their office then so be it, but our family is finding another doctor b/c we're not going to pay to be subjected to unprofessional office staff and poor customer service. I will say this, if you can finally make it to the health care providers they seem to be caring, but buyer beware of the office staff. Also, my family has been going to this provider for years and this is the way they treat their loyal customers. We've finally had enough. Oh, and forget having the doctor call you back if you have a question about a lab result or you forgot to ask something in your visit. They'll have the Nurse call you back when you specifically asked for the doctor because you have a medical question. I've had better health support from other doctors.

However the office management leaves much to be desired. They insisted that I get my scans there whereas I wanted to have them done in Florida Hospital. Then when I got the results when I read through I found anomalies (right instead of left - corrections to when the stress test was terminated etc) took 3 times to get them corrected to take to my pcp. Then when they found out I was about to switch cardiologist they immediately said I was no longer a patient and almost refused to answer a question about a medicine they had prescribed I had to press hard. Then the cd of the images that I had requested ( they charge 30 dollars to give them to me they had already charged something for the paper reports - red flag ! ) would not work at the new doctor and when I called to ask for help they basically said it was not their problem thats what they had. When I pressed harder they said the office manager would give me a call 'hopefully' today then they hung up on me then the Dr herself called and yelled at me not listening to what I was saying and telling me to stop harassing her staff. Never saw such a badly managed practice and a doctor who yells at their patients. wow ! You will have heart problems after dealing with them.
