This is my favorite greenhouse plant nursery in the area. The staff is knowledgeable about the plants they grow and they have decently priced plants compared to the newer boutique plant stores popping up. They have rare and hard to find unique plants as well! Some of my favorite include the carnivorous plants (Venus fly traps and sundews), calatheas, and succulents (I was lucky and they had string of hearts for 2.50!) They have a great variety of shrubs and vegetable starters too! Don't forget to bring cash. read more

This place was pretty decent! The staff was helpful and very kind. We had to leave because we didn't have any cash on us. That's the only downfall of this place. A few plants were dying as we were walking around. The hanging baskets needed to get plucked of some dead flowers. Still better than a lot of other greenhouses I've been to. The BEST greenhouse in Winston-Salem! For those of you looking for plants, whether indoor or outdoor, THIS is your place! Forget any others, just come here. Seriously, don't go anywhere else. Just make your life easy and come here. For starters, the people working here are so nice! That's quite a bit different from what I found at other plant shops here, so kudos to them. From the woman I saw walking in to the man I gave my money to (Oh, and BRING CASH), everyone was nice and helpful. The man at the end even gave me some tips about a small episcia I was buying, which again, kudos! There was ample parking on a Tuesday in the fall, but I can easily believe that this place gets busy in the summer. As for plants, they had every weird thing I was looking for that day! The aforementioned episcia (a small pink and gorgeous 2 inch starter), the most glorious purple waffle plants ever (I called HoP, a different shop, who acted like I was crazy for asking for one), the most beautiful Coleus I've seen (and so many varieties!), and I was tempted, but resisted (for now) getting a gorgeous Monstera Adonsonii (these were priced at $22, were 6 inch pots, already vining pretty long vines, were big and healthy, and ready for propagating). So, to sum up, come here. Don't go anywhere else to buy your plants if your in this area, or within reasonable driving distance. I'm SO GLAD I finally made it here. Oh, and a tip: Waze led me to the road adjacent to the greenhouse, which was just farm land, so there's a chance you might pass it if looking for street names. But thankfully, Myers Greenhouse actually looks like a large greenhouse, so there's that! read more

I was super impressed with the quality of plants at Myers. They have everything from succulents to houseplants to veggies and outdoor flowers! The prices are great for the size and quality of plants. I snagged a triostar, rubber tree, and a few succulents for less than $45. They're all in great condition, pest free, and have great root systems. 10/10 recommend! read more

Been here a few times and have purchased flowers, shrubs and many vegetable plants. Nice variety of tomato plants. In fact, during the spring, they have an entire row of tomato plants for sell. Very helpful staff so ask questions if you need help. The quality of the product is better than what you get at the big box stores. Trust me, I have found out the hard way over the years. Only two downsides to Myers. 1) Can be difficult to find a parking spot sometimes. They have private parking but this place is very popular. 2) Cash and check only. No debit or credit cards. Always a pleasant experience at MG. The two ladies are always friendly and helpful even when they are swamped with a lot of customers. MG always has everything I'm looking for...down to the rarest of the rare plants and they are at the highest quality at a fair price. I personally love the fact that they only accept cash or check. This helps keep the expenses down for them and the tax is included in the price which makes it easier to calculate the total cost. Parking can be a challenge during peak times but there is a lot in the back that can be hard to find if your not aware of it. Otherwise that's minor since I've never had an issue finding a free spot to park. I have been a dedicated customer for years and will continue to be for years to come. read more

What a shame. This place is wonderful. I've gotten many plants here and years later they are still thriving. THAT is what you should be reviewing. As a complete novice to plants, my experience here was great. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable in answering all of my questions and recommending several plants for my room. Everywhere from the parking area to the greenhouse itself is surrounded with all different types of plants - their selection is huge, and everything is organized nicely and well-kept. For just above $10, I left with some small succulents and a dracaena with instructions from the staff on how to care for all of them. I'll definitely be back! read more

I was in need of plants and decided to stop in on my way from Clemmons. The plant quality is awesome as well as the prices. Do bring cash or checks since they do not take cards. The staff member I talked to was very knowledgeable about plants. I just wish they had more staff to help us and take us to the recommended plants. Will not ever go back to this nursery. No signs with hours. 4 staff members saw us walking around and looking and shopping. No one ever told us they were close or closing. No one ever offered any assistance. Then a man yelled at us saying "hey bud, we closed at 5. The one gate is closed. I'm leaving and I am closing the other gate, so if you want to get out, you need to leave now." Not sure if they only deal with contractors, but majority of working people work until at least 5, and can only shop when they get off. Hours could be better. Kindness could be better. Summer time is the time to shop for plants and flowers but apparently not at this nursery. Thank you to Home Depot, Lowe's and other nurseries that stay open until at least 6. Drive past this nursery, there are plenty more that appreciate your business. read more

I've become slightly obsessed with this place lately. Everything you can think of under the sun is here. Tomato plants, hostas, venus fly traps, blueberry bushes, succulents & wayyyy more that I can't remember. I mean the place is massive! The plant lover in me gets so excited pulling into the driveway. It helps that the prices are also awesome. I paid $3 for a beautiful lavender baby. The people that run this place are great too. They will definitely answer any questions you have about each plant.
