Great staff, quick & friendly service. And they have compounded prescriptions, plus lots of other items.

This is the only compounding pharmacy in town, and they are very professional IMO. I get my LDN (low dose naltrexone) compounded here. LDN is a miracle drug therapy for a plethora of chronic illnesses, especially for chronic pain, auto-immune conditions, and mood disorders. Experts consider it a longevity drug for its health benefits. I have had only positive experiences here. The staff is always very friendly to me. Before leaving a critical review, be sure that you are not blaming the pharmacy for your doctor's errors. Sometimes a doctor submits the Rx incorrectly. read more

The best pharmacy, staff &service. They have taken care of everything from pet meds, including compounded and special order. Regular and special order human devices and supplies... they communicate with doctors, insurances, and humans under tension every day and still get S*** handled in record time. I've called in a panic when I forgot to re-order insulin and other supplies& they figure it out. I've called already impatient from dealing with stuff that's not their problem, and they fix it. They've saved the day more times than I can count. They 100% deserve the weekends off. read more

Most of the people that work here are nice, but several are extremely rude (especially the older woman with short red hair). The rudeness plus cutting weekend hours is the reason I'm transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy. read more

I have been a loyal customer of Myers for more than 20 years. Unfortunately, their service has gone down hill significantly. High turnover of clerks with little to no customer service skills and extremely long lead times in getting prescriptions filled. As the only independent pharmacy in Ukiah, it is shameful and disappointing. I am seriously considering using mail order at this point. read more

When I was a kid and lived in Hopland at the Rock Shop that my stepdad owned. His family had been coming to Myers for years, back in the old tiny building. Mom and I started going to your pharmacy in 1986! I just recently moved back and I have OCD and Gina and the staff are very nice to me with my little requests, and I always thank them. It has been some time since I last reviewed this pharmacy. However, the results are worse now than ever. Online ordering is a waste of time and calling their refill on the phone is a craps game at best. I have now been told if I have a problem with the pen I use for injections doesn't work properly, am to contact the manufacturer after being accused of not knowing how to use the pen (I have been using Trulicity and then Ozempic for the better part of five (5) years or more.) When you test it and then inject you can bet that the injection will take so long that it almost stops three or more times before completing the process. The lady that answered the phone was much more helpful than the pharmacist? I spoke with. If there is a problem with refills (should they acknowledge them) they will blame the doctor for the missing information. Like I said before, if my provider would allow to go somewhere else I would do so in a heartbeat. I am beginning to believe that I would be better off stopping the meds than rely on this forth rate sh*t show they call a pharmacy. read more

If you are searching for a pharmacy or are tired of being treated like dirt at your current pharmacy, I highly suggest you go to Myers Medical Pharmacy!! Their kindness and promptness is unmatched in the Lake and Mendocino area! I commute an hour just to use this pharmacy. I spent years using corporate pharmacies like Walgreens, CVS, you name it. And after about a year and a half I would finally be unable to put up with their demeaning attitudes any longer. (And I get it, these people are most likely overworked and underpaid.) But I was so used to going into a pharmacy and being treated like I was an inconvenience, that the medications I am prescribed somehow make me less than a person. This is not the case with Myers! It might sound silly to some, like hey it's just a pharmacy. But when you have to go to a place multiple times per month, unkind behavior grates on your mental health. Family owned for 21 years, it really shows, because they really do care about their community. You are not just a number here, you are not defined by whatever prescription you pick up, you are simply greeted with a smile, most of them knowing you by name, and at every single interaction- kindness. Something our world is seriously lacking. As a nurse myself, I know working in the medical field can be at times tough, but I still go out of my way no matter what kind of day or week I have had, to treat people with respect and kindness. THEY DO NOT ENFORCE MASKING REQUIREMENTS. THEY ARE PUTTING THEIR CUSTOMERS AT RISK. I am very conflicted in making this review because I like the people that work here, their service is great but every time I go there there are people without masks. When I express my concerns I'm told "yes we require masks but if people don't wear them there's nothing we can do". I tried to talk to the manager about it and he was extremely dismissive and asserted they were doing their part by posting signs that masks were required. He also said when people come in without a mask they asked them to wear one which is not something I have ever seen happen unless I make a stink and those people always decline to put it on and are served anyway. Business owners please realize if you don't enforce masking requirements you are complicit when you allow disease transmission to occur in your business. You are also making a statement that the health of people with compromised immune systems is not worth protecting. This is absolutely unacceptable when you serve people with high medical needs. People with compromised immune systems have had to give up on going to supermarkets and just about everywhere else but they cannot give up on getting the healthcare and medications they need. it is reprehensible when medical establishments will not take simple steps to protect them. People who don't want to wear masks can go to CVS to get their prescriptions filled. As a medical pharmacy Myers should be taking an active role in making sure their medical establishment remains safe and refusing service to anyone who declines to put on a mask. read more

I was told on three different occasions that my perscription would be filled until finally told that they could not get the medication.

The last three times I have used their online refill my prescriptions were never received. When I called they said " next time try calling and talking to a person. If I wanted to talk with a person I wouldn't use their website. I was also told to call and leave a message on their machine. Guess what that didn't work either. So now I'm out if three meds because they can't get their systems right. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone. I only use it is because this is the only one my provider will cover. I have ten prescriptions that I need. read more

So far everything is great. I've refilled prescriptions via phone bot, talking to a person, and the website. Every time I got a phone call saying it's ready that same day. The clerks have all been very friendly, the pharmacists helpful. Another big plus for me is it's a local business. read more

I moved to Ukiah almost two years ago and from the beginning there were problems. For several months they kept sending refills order to my previous doctors out of town. I ran out of certain medications. I got very upset when I ran out of a specific med that I cannot skip or interrupt. They refused to put me on auto refill even for that one specific Med. As far as dealing with Medicare part D ( which covers drugs) they absolutely clueless. None of the staff or managers own their mistakes or apologized. I complained, I told them that would leave if the service was not going to improve radically. I hang on with them for over a year, told them I would rather give my business to a local independent pharmacy. Finally I left and gave my business to someone else who made my life a lot easier and a lot less stressful. Last word: DON'T GO THERE. read more

Our large extended family of four generations has used Myers exclusively for several decades. Current owner/pharmacist Tim, Gina, and Kat have always made this pharmacy head and shoulders above the rest. Our purchases have been smooth and they know us by sight, simplifying the process of picking up prescriptions for 4 or more individuals at once. Sadly, the last few visits have not been as smooth. Prescriptions are sometimes lost. The staff is having difficulty meeting the demands of processing prescriptions and is falling behind. We don't mind being patient with them during this transition as we can sympathize. One of the clerks behind the counter behaved very oddly on our last visit, however, and it may be time for us to move on to another pharmacy. This clerk had not given us some of our prescriptions which he has previously handed to us monthly without question. We called and verified there were missing prescriptions not picked up, and I returned 20 minutes after our first visit. I told the male clerk I was there to pick up missed prescriptions for a family member and only gave the first name. He looked at the computer and insisted this person had no prescriptions to be picked up. When I told him we had called and been told there were, he refused to answer questions or look through the bags on the racks behind him. I gave up and went to the drop-off counter where the female clerk found the prescriptions on her computer immediately when asked, but defended the moody male clerk indicating it was our fault for perhaps giving the wrong last name and saying, "You need to decide which last name you want to use." However, I hadn't given a last name and neither of them had asked for one. Worse, we had just been there 20 minutes previously and had not been given these prescriptions. I returned to the pick up counter for a bit of a wait. When the male clerk finally signed the prescriptions out to me, he began taunting, asking if I was picking up for anyone else. He was smirking, dancing around delightedly on his toes, and kept asking in a mocking voice if I was picking up for anyone else, despite my answering no, we had already picked up for everyone just 20 minutes ago. This delighted him further, and he was bouncing around in glee, wouldn't ring up the prescriptions on the counter, wouldn't answer my question as to why he was doing this odd behavior, and pressed me to name every family member while 2 other customers waited in line behind us. I finally began naming family members. When I gave one name, he seemed about to pop his buttons with glee as he picked up the bottle we had no way of knowing was there and said triumphantly that he was waiting for me to say that name. In the bag with our previously missed prescriptions was a computer printout for one family member which warned that there may be more "packages" for this family member and stated 3 were picked up, 7 were not picked up. We will need to call Myers when they re-open to find out what the computer knows, as the clerk certainly doesn't intend to tell unless we guess correctly. :/ This is very odd behavior for a clerk in any business, but especially at a pharmacy, and I would urge the pharmacist, Tim, to look into this young man's behavior to determine whether it is a pattern that potentially makes him a high-risk employee at a pharmacy. Customers expect a high level of integrity from a pharmacy, and to have their prescriptions filled properly and on time. Myers needs to focus on having excellent staff if they want their business to succeed. read more

This used to be my favorite pharmacy in town. We switched from Walmart to Myers over a year ago and it was smooth sailing for the first few months. I'm in there fairly regularly due to multiple health issues. Now however almost every time I go in to pick up my meds there is always some problem, and a rude clerk lacking compassion to go along with it. I'm leaving the country now for a trip without the meds I need because of inaccurate information on their part and poor coordination between them, my insurance, and the doctor. Hopefully management can at least discuss proper patient care/customer service tactics with their clerks/cashiers otherwise I'll be finding another pharmacy for my family. read more

I've never had such a great experience with a compounding pharmacy, Myers has been outstanding. My meds are expensive & I've left them a couple of times to try & find a discount, but those days are over. They're stuck with me now! You can trust them to work out the best deal they can with the best configuration. I've tried their patience with questions & they're always kind & helpful. I am a refugee of Rite Aide in Willits, CA. And I'm here to tell you there is NO substitute for competency! Besides being warm and friendly, this Pharmacy gets it right, the first time. They stock my meds in advance of my needs, know I must travel 60miles round-trip to receive them, and if for any reason they cannot fulfill my order, they will send them to me.
