The Dr was very good and I had a wonderful black young lady for picking my glasses and made sure they fit appropriately

Wasted an hour of my time here that I can never get back. When scheduling the appointment the gal that helped me was very pleasant. I made it very clear that I only needed a contact lens exam for my daughter as she had just previously had a glasses eye exam with a different optometrist location separate from my eye dr.. she told me it was no problem and we scheduled the appointment. We went in today for the exam and Ashely checked us in. She mentioned something about a glasses exam and told us that she crossed it out on the intake paperwork because the notes were showing our appointment was for contacts. I reiterated that yes, we just had the glasses exam done somewhere else and only needed contacts. Ashely told us it would be $99 but there may be some promotions depending on which contacts we were prescribed when finished with the exam. The Dr saw my daughter and was fine. Very thorough in his explanations of everything. The exam is finished and we go to check out and schedule our mandatory contact lens class due to my daughter being a minor and first time contact lens wearer. They give me my total and it's $199. I asked the lady about the price difference since Ashely said it was $99.. I was told that there was a glasses exam charge on there. I reminder her that we didn't need that and already told Ashley that we didn't need it and she said she remembers that and would ask her manager to take it off.. We wait for her to go talk to her manager and she comes back and says it's up to the Dr. She goes to talk to the Dr. and comes back with Ashely in tow who tells us that because we didn't have the original exam done at a my eye Dr location that we are required to have both done and have to pay again for something we just did a month ago to which I ask her why she didn't say that upfront.... Had that been the case, we wouldn't have wasted our time there. Ashely basically tried to blame it on us not hearing her? Then blame it on us not understanding her. Then said that she asked us why we didn't go back to the other place (as a hint to extra charges ???) to which I repeated what I told her when she said that the first time and reminded her that she should have been very clear that we would be required to have both done thus paying for both. To sum it all up, I feel it was completely outrageous on Ashely's behalf to not be direct and tell us from the beginning that we'd be doing both especially when she went over the fact that our insurance had already been used and that we'd be self pay. Then add the fact that the Dr. wouldn't even consider doing just the contact portion of the exam was really frustrating. I've been going to the Manassas eye Dr location for years and have never encountered the slightest bit of inconvenience as I did here today. Would NEVER go back. read more

Phenomenal experience with MyEyeDr (Culpeper, VA). I've had the most amazing experience here. Very much a top notch customer service. The whole staff is very friendly and respectful to ALL its patrons (regardless of race, creed, or color of your skin). There was just something very special about this place and its environment - I truly felt taken care of, I felt heard and validated about my concerns about another eye place (called A.B.). Dr. Wasiuta, is the first eye doctor, who took the time to explain what my xrays meant (the first time ever explained to me). Trinity, Katrina, Ashley, Ms. Robinette, and Ms. Tanya were all personable and genuinely welcoming. I will be referring friends and family here. I've become a loyal fan and customer. read more

You just won't find better. They listen to you about your concerns and explain everything. Not to mention the small town feel chit chat you just can't find with folks a lot these days. My wait time is usually less than 10 minutes even on busy days. My whole family goes here even my little one started here at 7 and was terrified of someone coming close to his eyes. Now he looks forward to it and and trying on some new "cool glasses". I've always left feeling good about having them as my eye care team. read more

I desperately needed to get to the eye doctor, but because my schedule was limited I needed Saturday appointment times. MyEyeDr was one of the very few options and their online ratings didn't look too good, which almost deterred me from scheduling with them. The Saturday availability won me over and the experience was great. Everyone was polite, knowledgeable, and professional. I am new to the area and needed to schedule my annual exam for both contacts and glasses. The staff is very friendly and professional. They were able to schedule me quickly and the Dr. was very knowledgeable and caring. I would go as far as saying best eye visit ever. I would highly recommend this location. They do a great job telling you upfront what your cost is with your insurance plan and they have an excellent contact lens program! Not the largest selection of frames but they have more choices available then what is on display. Once they know what you like they will happily pull out more options. I give the very highest recommendation to MyEyeDr.OD on Montanus Drive in Culpeper, Va.. I was sent there last week (July 1, 2019)as an emergency from DMV when I couldn't pass the vision test to renew my driver's license. Time was very short, and I was a brand-new patient, yet Vonda calmly seated me immediately and completed paperwork. After that Amber (who is the liveliest young lady I have ever met!) took care of me until Ashley led me back for my pre-test. Then, Dr. Wasiuta performed my complete vision test. He is very professional and personable and recognized right away that my eye condition, fuchs dystrophy, and the fact I need new glasses combined to result in my failing the vision test. He gave me a through exam, which was covered by my insurance, and explained everything clearly. Every single person I connected with a this MyEyeDr was excellent. Even though this is a very busy office, everyone was pleasant at all times and efficient. They had me finished quickly - with the correct paperwork - so I was able to get back to DMV and complete my application and receive my renewed driver's license on the same day. As a new patient, I am now established with an trusted eye doctor close to my home in addition to Eye Doctors of Washington, whom I've been seeing for 40 years in Chevy Chase, MD, - and I had a top-notch eye exam! The office was constantly trying upsell on everything they could. They were rude and took their sweet time to do anything spent several hours to get an exam. They were not initially truthful about the prices of the frames. The receptionist didn't know how to look up insurance. Would not let my child take home his contacts that insurance paid for! If you don't care about delivery time, the correctness of your order and/or having someone who actually cares about your order, MyeyeDR is your company. I have been lied to, given phony excuses and finally no eye wear. After a herculean effort on our part, the company responded and got my wife her eye wear before we left the country on a planned trip. The final visit was very pleasant and effortless so my lesson learned is "get your delivery date in writing" because the local store depends on a lab which may or may not get your order right. Very disappointed takes 10 + business days to get contacts. Puh give me a break in this day in age I know they come faster. I got a so so attitude when I expressed that hey it would have been nice if I had been told at check out that it takes 10+ days to get contacts. Oh and you only gave me enough "trials" to last 4 days and you don't have any in stock so basically to bad so sad...... read more
