I was overall pleased with my service even though the remote Dr was a little challenging. What I did not like though, was when I asked for my vision screening form be sent to the MVA so that I could renew my license online, I was contacted days later to let me know that my printed, unsealed form was ready to pickup. My Eye Dr. is listed on the MVA website as a doctor that DOES send these electronically. The printed form is pretty much worthless to me. Not sure why they would be one of 5 suggested by the MVA if they do not provide that service. read more

Great place when it was Vision Associates. Not pleased at all with My Eye Doc. Although did get quick appointment, that all that was good. Went in for vision check-up and let everyone who was in contact with that would need my vision screening form done for license renewal. Repeatedly told, no problem. Not checked by doctor on site, apparently is now remote, kinda strange but okay. 1st week, no renewal form. Tried about 10 days later, was told it was sent over to the remote doctor and he has to complete it. Now on 3rd call (almost 4 weeks after appt). Indicated they called and left message it was done, checked call log, no calls from them. On top of all that, the prescription glasses received were way too strong, can't wear them. The staff was exceptional. Ashley (front desk) was sweet and my eye tech was also great. I ONLY didn't like that after I paid I was told my glasses would take 2 weeks. Previous office in Baltimore had same day pick up. I would have drove to Baltimore had I known it would take 2 weeks but I was hoping to find a new office. If you don't mind the 1-2 week waiting YES I would recommend but if you're desperate for your eyewear, please note it will take a while and I wouldn't recommend. read more

If I could give "0" , I would. Arrived 15 minutes before appointment to fill out paper work as instructed upon making appointment. Sat for an 1 hour 15 minutes before I asked how much longer only to be told they would check. Left 15 minutes later. Medical service has truly worsen over the years. Customer service and respect for clients/patients and their time matters not! I wouldn't spend a cent here. Absolutely no respect or concern. read more

MyEyeDr bought out Vision Associates a few years ago and I have had problems ever since. Last year's eyeglass order and this years were fulfilled incorrectly and in all cases, takes weeks to rectify. I have worked with an optician there for a long time and he's great. This time he wasn't available. The employee who helped me was a "consultant". Gave me an upgraded blue light filter when I specifically said I didn't want "the purple haze"...both times I picked up glasses, neither he nor another consultant checked fit or gave me a test card to read. The selection of eyewear is reduced and the desk staff is less than friendly. They make me feel like I'm bothering them. The doctor is nice enough but is in such a hurry, I continue to have issues with my prescription. I was with Vision Associates since 1996. MyEyeDr has been a very disappointing replacement. read more

MyEyeDr isnt even in the building. A technician positions the devices, but the Dr. controlls them. And you have to pay for a separate scan that insurance doesn't cover for the Dr to examine you remotely. Everyone that was there was nice. Hard upsell on the lenses, but that is expected at any optical. read more

Excellent. No wait for appointment time. Everybody was efficient and friendly. I had an insurance issue and it was handled quickly and professionally. I was expecting it to be a hassle. I really liked the help selecting my frames. read more

I don't know what a freebie is, but the staff here are great, so friendly, Love my new reading glasses, they actually came in more then a week sooner then expected. Had my wife go the following week for her exam, she needed special lenses, and she also was very happy with her eye exam results and the selection of eyewear on the showroom floor.
