They were way off on positioning with a pair of my glasses so they had to be sent back to remake. The staff at the counter told me "it happens all the time, it could be the factory but it could be we mismarked you" so not exactly something that gives me confidence in their abilities... They also don't help at all with glasses previously purchased here. I had an arm of a pair that was loose and they wrote down the name and phone number of a repair place. When I went to a different eyeglass store for my next pair, that place made the quick repair for me even though they weren't purchased there!

On one incident that I know of for sure, my eyesight had worsened just the slightest bit, but it didn't really warrant a new prescription. I feel very comfortable in Dr. Budd's office and I feel it's a more personable place to go than a commercial outlet. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The selection of eye ware is nice and current and the prices are fair as well. I will continue to see Dr. Budd for all my eye care needs.

Though I haven't always had the same eye doctor, it seems the caliber of doctors there never wavers. Doctors' offices and medical settings make me a bit anxious in general, but the staff there is always kind and comforting--probably without them even realizing how helpful that is. This past visit, Dr. Taddie discovered an issue with my eye that warrants more than just the standard eyeglass prescription. I'm super scared and waiting to get to a specialist this week, but I must say, the doctor has gone above and beyond to answer my questions, to easy my worries a bit and to find a specialist that takes my health insurance. The level of care and concern I have received absolutely exceeds my expectations, which is rare these days. I want to also add that I do not have eye insurance. For those without insurance, being a AAA member gives you 30% off. This helps a lot! Still, I usually order glasses online these days. Though I was hesitant to do so at first, I take the glasses I buy online to be adjusted at LensCrafters. They are always kind and never make me feel like a bother. Not even the slightest attitude. There is a large collection of glasses available. Today, I just needed my glasses fixed. I visited 3 other shops (Oakmont, Lens Crafters, and America's Best) the day before I cam back to Verona Eye Care. None of them could fix my glasses, and some even said my glasses were mangled and beyond fixable. They said there was a part missing at the top of my glasses. I was expecting the fixing process to take days, but the receptionist (receptionist! Not the doctor) fixed my glasses within a minute. She was very friendly and all around great. She even did this fix for free! I've had these glasses for years, they are sturdy, and I definitely trust Verona Eye Care to provide high quality glasses at reasonable prices and with great service. The optometrist is efficient. They are closed on Sundays unfortunately. My mother had an iffy experience here once where they recommended she go to Oakmont Eye Care instead (could have been the language barrier). But, this is definitely my go to optometrist. Quick, efficient, friendly, experienced, good with kids. I'll come back for glasses and a checkup anytime I need it.

Today I get a call and they tell me they canceled my appointment, gave it to someone else because their new system canceled my appointment because I didn't confirm the appointment. I never received an text (which I always get a text) a call or email to confirm but they immediately canceled and secured the spot for the next person. Beyond unprofessional.
