This office has completely failed to meet even the basic standards of communication, follow-through, and respect for patient needs. The doctor rushed through my exam as if I were a burden, spending barely five minutes with me. When I requested a necessary accommodation letter for my job, the one they initially sent was so poorly written that my employer said it made no sense and was completely invalid. This forced me to request a corrected version -- which I've now been waiting on since Saturday. It is now Friday, and not only has the updated letter still not been sent, but I've also been ignored and left hanging in a situation that directly affects my employment and ability to work safely. This kind of treatment is absolutely unacceptable. It shows a complete disregard for patient care, urgency, and responsibility. A simple task like faxing a corrected letter to my doctor has turned into a week-long ordeal -- and still, nothing. If you're looking for eye care where you'll be taken seriously, respected, and properly supported, look elsewhere. This experience has been beyond disappointing -- it's been infuriating.

The phone receptionist was kind, polite and professional and advised me to come in and let them check the eyeglasses. He tried to decrease my contact strength prescription without letting me even try on any trials (thank God for the woman checking me out who made sure to find some me to try on before we ordered because I would've been pissed off getting contacts that I couldn't see through), kept promoting some podcast he was going to be on, tried to tell me that my primary physician wasn't going to truly check on one of my health conditions that I needed to get an ultrasound from him instead, told me to look something up using AI, and couldn't dumb down an explanation of something that was, as he described it, "pretty sciency" (I'm a month away from having a masters degree in biology mind you). He tried to schedule me for an unnecessary procedure after telling him I'm losing my insurance very soon. He also stated he "wouldn't be mad" if I chose to stay with my original prescription instead of going with the lower strength one, as if a decision regarding my body and what is going to be best for me should include factoring in his emotions. A genuine disgrace to eye doctors who are actually worth a hoot. If you don't want to be scared into going to the doctor or receiving an unnecessary procedure, I recommend going elsewhere.

First, I got someone on the phone ..no answering service or answering machine. Second, I was able to make a same day appointment. We arrived when we were told to arrive, which was 30 minutes early in order to fill out some paperwork. I think our appointment was delayed due to a late show, but it was not a bother to me since I used to be that way when my life was overscheduled and now it was not. The doctor was very professional, detail oriented, and trustworthy. The staff was very personable. I would highly recommend this office and plan on coming back.

The staff is friendly and helpful, everything was explained adequately. The cost of the procedure was surprisingly low. My only complaint is that an appointment scheduled for a particular time may last for hours, much of the time sitting in the waiting room. I understand that medical procedures can't be precisely scheduled, but there ought to be a way to cut down on the wait time. That said, I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Moore and his colleagues to anyone.

We had put off surgery because we were apprehensive about cataract surgery complicated by glaucoma, especially after previously being given a very discouraging prognosis and being told that my husband was a poor candidate for glaucoma surgery. At his first appointment, Eyesight Associates did extensive testing--far more thorough than anything he had experienced previously. Dr. Gayton was warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. He took plenty of time to explain everything and answer our questions, and we left feeling so reassured. Every single staff member we have encountered has been kind, caring, friendly, and helpful. I have seen some reviews complaining about the staff, but that has not been our experience at all. Our visits have also been efficient, and except for the initial visit with all the extensive testing, we've been in and out without long waits. On the days of the surgeries, Dr. Gayton and his staff went above and beyond to keep my husband's eye pressures under control. His post-op care has been excellent as well. Considering how apprehensive we were going into this, we are thrilled and tremendously grateful that everything has gone so well. The results have exceeded our expectations, and my husband is delighted that he can see so much more clearly again! Dr. Gayton is a man of faith, and he truly lives what he believes.
