Now the key stopped turning all together. The tech came out to look at it and claims the post office replaced their lock so that affected my lock ?? Im supposed to have realized this and known I have to push on the door itself then the key will work. ? I was billed another 65 and was told it was because of user error ?? I was opening a lock not reformatting a computer. Then I called to complain the tech yelled at me hung up on me and told me to call the office. I did that the call went through through 3 times and disconnected immediately. My Daughter then called from her phone and miraculously they answered. When they heard it was me I was yelled at and hung up on again. Worst customer service error and apparently not real adept at changing locks

I called Joe at PBC Locksmith, and he said he could be there in a half hour! He showed up just on time, was super friendly and really knowledgeable! The deadbolt was completely broken so he took that out and replaced it, and was able to just rekey the bottom lock. From start to finish he was probably done in a half hour, and simple payment through credit card. I will definitely be keeping his number in case any other lock emergencies should arise! Im a licensed locksmith in Nebraska, so I went ahead and Ordered a replacement and when it got here I set off on the journey to re-key the new cylinder to the old key. Got 98% through the process but got stuck getting the retainer bearing back into the bearing race in the cylinder which holds the plug with the wafers in, and without having my tools with me, i couldnt for the life of me get the bearing and spring back in. Brought the spring, ball bearing, and ignition cylinder with me to ADL, and he had it in and had me ready to go and finish the job for my father.
