When you asked about it, she did nothing to resolve it and made excuses. She once charged me taxes on a doctor visit when my HMO insurance has a contract on participating providers on no taxes. She also bills insurance office visits and physical exams at the same time when she is not supposed to.

I've been her patient now for over 10 years and she's wonderful! I suffered a loss (lost my baby boy at 18 weeks); I met with her afterwards and she really helped me deal with the loss! She took care of my FMLA paperwork since I had to take some time off of work because me and my husband were grieving... She even took care of his paperwork too. We were therefore able to properly grieve and she just really helped us. I explained to the person on the phone that I have been going to Dr. Keller for over 33 years. The receptionist said that i would be treated as a NEW PATIENT and therefore they didnt have any openings tomorrow for me. BUT...if i was willling to pay $50, they could reactivate my files and get me the appointment. Otherwise, I would have to wait. YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! After re-explaining my history with their offices, she still said that I am basically a nobody and that it was their policy. So thats how they treat someone who has relatively been healthy for the past few years and didn't require seeing my physician. Well, I told her what she could do with her policy and I told her to tell Dr. Keller how disappointed I am with theit policies and how they treat their OLD patients. Seriously, I thought doctors offices were supposed to be compassionate...now it's all about the almighty dollar. So disappointed in your staff Dr. Keller. So now to find a NEW primary physician...

Dr. Yong is this Chinese lady who is very thorough and precise in examining you. And because of that, you can expect a wait when seeing her. That's the junky thing, the wait. But once you've gotten in an exam room and waited a bit more, she'll ask lots of questions and check you out from head to toe! She wants to make sure all your symptoms are addressed. It's really cute talking to her. She's so animated! The other reason I like Dr. Yong so much is that she'll call you with results, even after hours. I mean that's excellent service! Imagine the times I'm eating dinner and Dr. Yong calls me to tell me my xray results or what not. Can't expect my other doctors to provide that level of service, but Dr. Yong is top notch! Dr. Yong is an excellent doctor. The waiting time isn't great but hey, when you have a doctor in demand, what do you expect? Getting an appointment ahead of time is easy, but if you need to walk in, expect a long wait. Her office is closed on Thursdays, Sundays, and major holidays. Saturdays are half days. There's a municipal parking lot. Just bring stuff to do or write a Yelp review while you wait!

It took nearly six months, to sort out what should have been a routine, correctly-coded preventive…read morevisit. I was told during the visit that the EKG was standard for an annual check-up. It wasn't disclosed that the visit or labs would be billed diagnostically. When I raised this with billing staff, I received several rounds of inconsistent explanations before being told they would not respond to further questions. The office visit balance was eventually waived, without an explanation for the reversal. I then requested my medical records to understand what had actually happened. That alone took over a month and at least 8 follow-up messages, the office resisted electronic delivery, mailed records to the wrong address, and initially refused delivery confirmation. The records I finally received described the visit as a routine check-up with no cardiac symptoms and a normal exam, contradicting how it had been billed. With no cooperation from the office on correcting the coding, I had to resolve the lab billing directly through my insurer, a process that took several more weeks on top of everything above. If you're going in for a routine physical, get in writing upfront what will be billed as preventive versus diagnostic, and keep records of who you speak with.
