There are lots of activities for the young and young at heart throughout this outside mall area. It's kinda a touristy spot as you have many attractions $ including: Bungee, Speed Boat Experience, zip line, small rides, a Ferris wheel, a theater. Not to mention it's all on the ocean. There are a variety of shops selling the usual fare, but it's a nice walkable area with much to offer throughout your walk experience. I picked up a few things for gifts to bring home and really enjoyed my time with family here. FYI- The highly anticipated Ole Smoky Distillery and Yee-Haw Brewing Co. is opening tomorrow and would have really of liked to experience that as Paula Deans was super disappointing. *On a good note- Guy Fieri's Flavor Town will be a gigantic space within Myrtle Beach and opens in June.*

I am from the jersey area and we have point pleasant beach & boardwalk, ashbury, wildwood, Seaside heights, and ofcourse Atlantic city... so might be I was expecting it more - so it was just okay for me.
