    Behzad Kermani has been my insurance agent for several years now, and I have nothing but wonderful…read morethings to say about him & American Family Insurance. Unhappy with my previous insurance company, I selected Mr. Kermani after much research... and what a great decision that was! He is very knowledgeable and always quick to respond, takes however much time is needed to explain my policies and answer questions, and always goes above and beyond the call of duty... I even get calls from him a few times a year to see if I am happy with my insurance and let me know if I'm eligible for new discounts - amazing! I couldn't ask for a better agent in Behzad Kermani. 5 STARS!

Well just note this as a 1-star rating by default…read more I have been with American Family Insurance for 10yrs, great working relationship, I gave them money, they provided my with car insurance which really I view as important because without it, I can lose my license, get my car impounded and potentially lose my entire life savings. Yeah, not a thing I want. I came to having Behzad as an agent after my last agent left the company, he assumed my business. No cares, I provided money, he provided insurance and junk mail, the relationship was still good. So, I called ole' Behzad for a quote, he provided me a quote $50 cheaper than the American Family Insurance call center did, because as he told me, "agents can offer products the call center can't"... ok, kinda shady, why can't anyone call American Family Insurance and get the best products/policies, why must we work with an agent. But, whatever. So I sat around for a week, called a few other companies, because hey, I am looking to save a buck or ten. Finally, I weighed my options and decided to go with the quoted insurance from Behzad. I called, no one answered, so I left a voicemail expressing interest in the quoted policy, and wanting to talk. This is the moment all went wrong. Several days later, without a call, Behzad deleted a car from my policy, and added on my new car to a more expensive policy. Whoa! Who authorized that! When I discovered this, I was shocked! I mean, no insurance on a car, a policy more expensive then quoted(without as good of options). This isn't what I wanted. Well, needless to say, when i raised some red flags and I called for assistance, Behzad wouldn't return my calls. I called the call center, they just wanted to sell me more insurance. Sorry, but shouldn't we first deal with him changing my policy without my permission? Shouldn't we deal with him deleting a car from my policy, leaving me without car insurance, which is what I pay them for? No, American Family Insurance just wanted to sell me more insurance, brushing this off as "mistakes happen", but this isn't a mistake, this was a willful act, this was him choosing to delete a car from a policy, this is serious! Had i not caught this, I could have continued for awhile without insurance. I felt helpless against the machine that is American Family, I felt like I had to fight a giant. So I started calling, I started emailing, I started posting on their Facebook page, I kept at it, because hey, this wasn't right. No one at American Family Insurance cared, and Behzad never called to explain why he chose to do this to me. I have since left American Family Insurance, for a policy more expensive than Behzad offered me, because once trust is gone, it is gone. My advice to anyone reading this, go elsewhere, save yourself from the trouble. Don't build a long term relationship with this company, especially Behzad, or you too, will find yourself without car insurance at his whims.

    I started my policy on January 20 and submitted all required documentation the same day. I received…read moreconfirmation and the policy was issued. A week later, my rate increased because I had not yet used the dynamic drive app. I explained that the vehicle had just been purchased from an auction and was still in the shop. After clarification, they credited the account and adjusted the rate back. Shortly after that, I received an email stating they had not received prior insurance documentation despite the fact that it had already been submitted on January 20. I had to speak with four different customer service representatives before they finally located the documents. I was told the rate would be corrected back to the agreed amount. Two weeks passed and nothing was adjusted. Due to the repeated billing inconsistencies and lack of follow-through, I canceled the policy before the next payment due date (the 20th) and switched providers. After canceling, I received an email stating I owed a balance related to automatic draft cancellation. This entire experience was frustrating and unnecessarily complicated. Clear communication, accurate documentation handling, and consistent billing are fundamental expectations when purchasing insurance. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those standards.
