I had a one night stay. When I walked into the room, there was a lovely scent. It was not overpowering, to me anyways. My stay was good, and for the price you get a lot. The room is large with a good size refrigerator and freezer as well as a small microwave. If you're looking for the ice bucket like I was, it's inside the freezer. There is also a small dining table with 2 chairs. Sofa for lounging, watching the large TV that is on a swival so you can watch from the couch or the bed. The reason I can't give this 5 stars, is because the cleaners could have done a better job. The fridge had gunk on the side, the tub had soap scum build up in the corners of the tub. The couple that stayed in the room next to me, I could hear them chatting all the way up until a little after 11pm. I did speak with the front desk upon my check out to provide them with this feedback and the woman said she would discuss with the cleaners. The rest of the room was clean. I always check the mattress for bugs before I get into it, and I thankfully did not see any. The sheets smelled as though they had been recently washed. If they can do a more thorough job of cleaning, then I'd be able to give a higher rating. read more

the hotel was 'ok'. we stayed 4 nights. reserved a suite with king bed. It did have a nice kitchen area, with a full sized refrigerator and option to get a cook top if needed (we did not need) What we did NOT like, was the bathroom, the tub would not stop dripping to the point we had to sleep with the bathroom door shut to muffle the sound, the water pressure was more like the mist at a grocery store vegetable section. The bed was 'ok' but brick hard. and the sofa, well, it had a lighter in the cushions, which tells me that the cleaning crew...not so thorough, and the sheets seemed to be more suited for a queen bed than a king. It was large, and relatively comfortable though. The staff was very nice and the since we were there to see our aging grandmother, we were happy to have the place to wind down in the evening. would have liked a pool though...that was a bit odd to have a hotel with no pool. read more

So we had a flooded room. They just gave us towels, the shower didn't work and we couldn't nap because they were working on the roof. They could have mentioned that before hand so we could have gone somewhere else. Do not go here ever! read more

Inching across the country on motorcycles! MySuites was way more than we expected for the price, room wise. Separate seating area with a little kitchenette. Room was very clean and modern. The bed was a little too soft and the pillows a little too hard for my liking, but I slept ok, it was quiet. This facility is right off the highway, within easy walking distance to a Cracker Barrel and a sports bar. A casino is nearby. The continental breakfast is ok, no waffles, eggs or bacon, but you do have Cracker Barrel if you must have more than free. Staff is helpful and friendly. All in all, a good choice! read more

From the check in to check out it a breeze. Commendable staff, clean place, decent breakfast, safe area, ample parking and location is close to everything. Staff are polite, courteous and helpful. Pros: Clean, really clean, impressively clean. Felt really new. Big fluffy towels. Lots of outlets and places to charge electronics in room. Huge tv in room. Friendly front desk. Free breakfast. Great price. Free parking onsite. Highly recommend. Cons: shower curtain missing 2 rings. And they folded the shower curtain really weird to hide it. But then it was too short to keep water in during the shower. Doesn't matter. Didn't really effect my experience at all. read more

Very clean and well maintained. Checked in here after leaving the absolutely disgusting Hampton Inn in Lawton. Clearly it is an extended-stay type of property, but I will definitely stay here when I come to Lawton. Staff is friendly and professional. Didn't care for my stay here. Very boring hotel with no amenities. Asked for early check in and received terrible service. You can't charge anything to the room and they are still using keycards for everything. The side entry door wouldn't open when I tried to get back from getting food elsewhere. We like it because it is reasonably priced and it's walking distance to a couple places we can eat and a fun bar where we can get a drink or more. The free breakfast is a perk we enjoy. Easy check in late at night. if you have to stay away from home you want clean beds, good coffee in the lobby, a quick bite in the morning and clean rooms with a smile. My Suites in Lawton, OK, does not care about guest safety. Their customer service is lackluster. The night clerk (GL) is the absolute rudest employee I have ever dealt with. She hung up on me while I was trying to resolve an issue. My husband called, and she also hung up on him. You do NOT hang up on customers, especially when they are being polite. Neither one of us was rude or inconsiderate. She was in the wrong and refused to admit it. Do not book this hotel. Do not give them your money. They do not care about their guests, especially those with special needs. Customer service is a foreign concept to this hotel. If I could give them negative stars, I would. Avoid this poor excuse for a hotel if you ever find yourself unfortunate enough to be stuck in Lawton. They will treat you like absolute trash, which is what their hotel is - trash. read more

Will not return and recommend not staying here if you have any guests that need understanding or patience. They tried having my elderly, special needs uncle trespassed even though he was a guest with a paid room! We were in Lawton for a wedding and stayed in My Suites-Lawton. We had a group of 13 people (2 special needs) in 6 rooms over the course of 4 overnights. Throughout the time, we used the lobby as a gathering place: Thursday night, Friday morning and again Friday evening, and Saturday afternoon. The same front desk staff worked those evenings and were friendly and joking with us. We had no issues until Saturday night. Saturday evening, we returned from dinner and my mother had my uncle sit in a chair in the lobby so he didn't have to walk any longer (he has continual foot and leg pains). He is capable of being alone up to a few hours, so resting a few minutes until we returned from our rooms would be fine. Our plan was to use the lobby again. Less than 20 minutes later, Lawton PD arrived because front desk staff who worked that evening (who we hadn't seen before) called them. Lawton PD asked my uncle a few simple questions and luckily, realized they were dealing with a developmentally delayed adult. My mother came around the corner and once they spoke with her, they left, recognizing the situation for what it was: an overreacting, over reaching, ill trained hotel staff. We asked the clerk why they were called and this is where the lies began. -First, she said it was because it was "company policy" to call the police if someone is confused. She decided he was confused because he couldn't remember the room number he was staying in with my parents. (A policy she could not provide when asked.) -Then she said she called every room with the last name he gave (there were multiple), but got no answers. Weird since we had gone to change clothes, put away leftovers, use the bathroom, and such. -Then she said the phone system was down. We were all on the ground floor, specifically approximately 25-50 feet from the desk. She had no issues with leaving the front desk to smoke on the porch, so I fail to see why knocking on any of the doors would have been a struggle. -Then she said she called her manager and the manager was who told her to call the police. (Seems odd if this is policy.) -Then she said she called the police for a "wellness check" Except when we spoke to the responding officer, he said he was called to respond to a homeless man who needed to be trespassed from the property. My Suites intended to have a 72 year old man with physical limitations and limited mental capacity thrown out at 8pm on a Saturday. FYI- my uncle was clean shaven, combed, neat hair, wearing clean clothes and shoes as well as a leather jacket. He carries a phone with all of our numbers preprogrammed. He was waiting in the same area we had gathered in multiple times. That was the totality of his crimes: he was in the lobby of the hotel where he was a paying guest. Needlessly to say, he spent the remaining time there withdrawn, worried, and upset because he thought he was in trouble. When requested to respond, the manager listed as "Manager on Duty Travis Severson" wasn't available. In subsequent conversations with family members, he explained that we needed to understand what he "deals with in Lawton" implying the area their hotel is in is not safe. Yet, they were prepared to throw my uncle out into that dangerous environment. Travis added that the situation with my mentally challenged uncle needed to be dealt with in the same manner they handled a rapist situation they previously had. EXCUSE ME? Comparing a disabled adult with a violent offender is not an acceptable inclusivity practice. When elevated, my family received much of the same type of flippant responses. It seems that because we were able to keep the police from actually arresting or removing him, the hotel didn't feel like they had anything to own up to. We disagree. All we requested was an explanation of how they will train people in the future to show come compassion and understanding and how they will retrain their management as to not disregard people with genuine concerns. For clarification-at no point did any of us ask for a refund or discount. Getting one will solve nothing. The only positive notes in this situation were AJ (Operations manager) and a gentleman whose name I didn't catch who worked the night shift at the desk. I hope they find employment in a place worthy of their professionalism and hospitality. We tried to let corporate resolve it before I posted, but they decided not to. read more

Perhaps the rudest and most unhelpful night desk clerk I've ever encountered. I can forgive that sort of thing usually, because I know its hard to work night shifts. However, I had a potential safety concern, and not only was the clerk entirely unsympathetic, unhelpful, and dismissive, she was extraordinarily condescending and rude about it. If you have to stay in Lawton for some reason, then I strongly recommend avoiding this place and finding somewhere else where the staff treats guest safety concerns seriously. read more

We were initially very pleased with our stay. But, Because of ONE untrained rude employee, and an uncaring manager, our 4day stay became a NIGHTMARE! We have a 72 year old developmentally delayed individual who lives and travels with us. He was severally mistreated by a desk person who really needs to have training! We had been there, as family, for a wedding for 3 days at that time, in and out thru out the day. There were 6 rooms being occupied by family members, most with the same last name, on the first floor. The untrained employee called the police claiming the special needs 72 year old was trespassing, while he was waiting in the lobby for the rest of the family to return to the lobby. He was at most in the lobby 20 minutes. He had been in that lobby frequently during our stay. When the police came to confront him for trespassing, I had just walked into the lobby by the front desk. I told the officer he was staying there and gave a room number, the officer turned and looked at the employee behind the desk then went to his car at the front door. The special needs gentlemen was doing nothing wrong, (even the reporting employee said he wasn't doing anything wrong). But she had called to have him removed. If I hadn't walked in when I did, he might have been arrested. As it was, the special needs individual was very frightened and kept asking what was wrong. He was upset and so was the rest of the family. We tried to talk with the manager about the untrained attitude employee treatment of the special needs person and basically got no where. We were not trying to get room discounts, we were trying to make sure My Suites employees received training they needed to help deal with other special needs people that might need to stay at their hotel. And to prevent families from the NIGHTMARE we had to go thru. Our family has tried to talk with the corporation managers about this situation to no avail. You would hope that hospitality corporations would care how they treat special needs individuals and their families. read more

Pick another hotel. We had a developmentally disabled person in our group. This is not is not place for anyone with any kind of intellectual disabilities. We rented 6 rooms for a family event. We booked and stayed 4 days Thursday through Sunday with our group. We would come back for dinner and visit in the lounge. Saturday at a little after 7:30 pm the last evening we planned on staying, we left our special needs uncle in the lobby so he didn't have to walk to the room and back down again while we all changed, use the bathroom etc. He is perfectly capable of being left alone. The front desk clerk called the police on him. Imagine arriving in the lobby and the police having been called and the desk clerk being rude. Why? Was it because she felt uncomfortable? She said no. Because he said something or acted inappropriate in some way? She said no. She told us she called police for a wellness check. She lied. We called the police department and it was not called in as a well check but as a trespassing homeless person. Our uncle was there for twenty minutes. He told her the clerk he was in his sisters room. When she asked him what room he was supposed to be in. (He used her previous last name. There were two rooms booked with that last name out of 6 as we were all family. ) we asked why she didn't call.any of us or walk down the hall? She said she did.call. We asked how that was possible as we never left the room as we were changing and using the restroom. She said the phones were down. Our room was fifteen feet from the front desk. Why didn't she come knock on the door? Use our cell phone numbers on our accounts? She said that's not their policy. Apparently their policy is to immediately call the police on people who did nothing wrong or unlawful. The police figured out very quickly that he was a guest, clearly not homeless, and supposed to be there. The desk clerk was rude and dismissive. This disabled 72 year old man could have been "thrown out" out of an establishment we were paying customers of and for doing nothing. Our uncle was upset and afraid he made the lady mad. This was totally unacceptable. We tried to speak to the general manager. He chose not to speak to us that night. Or the next morning. On Monday when we spoke to him he compared our uncle to a possible RAPIST or homeless man. Relating he had a staff member raped before?? Are you kidding me??! Do they have that many problems there of this nature???? And how is that related to discrimination against a special needs people? A man no one in the company said did anything wrong. Their corporate office blew it off as well. I guess discrimination against protected groups is not important to this company. So if you have ANYONE in your party that is special needs you might want to rethink staying here. And we did not request any discount or anyone to be fired. We requested training so others that are special needs are not discriminated against for simply being special needs. Apparently that was too much to ask for. read more
