Management is non responsive. We had ants in our room. Rooms #318-320 infested. The front desk clerk acknowledged the problem but management ignored it. None the less, we spent the weekend being entertained by 300+ ants and their antics. crawling on the walls and everywhere. They crawled all over our drink just as soon as we set them on the table. We couldn't set anything near by. They even invaded our stinky worn laundry on the floor. Now you know they're nasty! Stay else where if visiting Fort Sill. Owner ignored request for mediation between Hotels.com and our issue.

Hard to see but calking all over the bottom and top of the glass.

The staff is great for the most part, but the property is worn down and in poor condition. When staying at Hilton as a loyal Honors member, one expects a certain aesthetic in the hotel. Hampton Inn missed across the board. The room was reminiscent of a Red Roof Inn. I had to stay in on Jacksonville FL Airport when my tire blew up the street during a visit. The room was dark, many outlets did not work, the carpet.....my white socks were black, not brown dirt but black. The HDMI ports didn't work the bed was scratched and chipped, the drawers would not stay closed I had to just live outta my suitcase. The bathroom shower was rusty the desk lamp would cut off after 40ish minutes I had to type my work reports (I was on business) and reports in the lobby for good light. I became well acquainted with the 3 to 11 shift this way. Overall, thus, it was like no Hilton uve ever stayed in, I won't stay in a Lawton Hilton on my next business trip. Honestly , I understand it's a basic training military installation there (as a vet that trained there), and every Friday is a graduation, so hundreds of family.looking for rooms. When the demand is that high weekly, I can only assume that Cooperate Hilton see no reason to clean up the hotel. Again, the staff was great from the manager to the maintenance gentlemen, but the property needs some Hilton mo ey it's not work the 98.00 government rate I paid. Employees deserve a better cleaner property to keep up they work harder than they are paid. (Words from an employee I met while typing in the lobby) that's why they have more than one job.

Blackout curtains are not secure to the wall & the hotel lights shine into the rooms. (TV is on because no one can sleep.)

The manager cowers in her office and has the people at the desk do her nasty commentary. If there's an issue-ASK TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER-don't take it out on the front desk worker (I mean unless they're being rude, too lol) The hotel as a whole is nasty nasty nasty and a reflection of the managers character. Now, the hot tub did work and the pool was "clean"(pools being disgusting in general)-but that's it. & hair in the shower.

Our very small tv. For the price? Not worth it.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This hotel is awful. The room is awful. The carpet is filthy, and the room is TINY. The beds were advertised as Queen but are closer to full size. No fridge, no microwave, and a tiny tv. All the furniture is cheap and old. The sad part is because this is a military area (I'm a veteran visiting for my sinks graduation from Basic) this hotel chain is operating as though people will stay here regardless. And maybe they will. This will, however be my last stay here. If I can find a better room anywhere close by I'm leaving as quickly as I can. If it weren't for graduation and all the surrounding hotels being booked I wouldn't have even bothered posting this review. This is a total waste of my money and I will be calling corporate. Extremely dissatisfied. Went downstairs for dinner and overheard a patron telling the front desk there is mold in his room. MOLD y'all!!! Lord be a fence...

    Stained, unchanged sheets.

Yeah, i think i got a room similar to a previous reviewer. Staff was nice, but the hotel is still pretty nasty. Even though it was deemed a "non-smoking" room, it reeked like some truck stop motel outside of Vegas. Took leaving the bathroom light/exhaust fan on with AC unit on full high fan to eventually bring the smoke stench down. Oh, and apparently they don't change sheets. The pic below was what greeted me pulling the covers back.... And this was a suite! But again, this IS Lawton. Only one decent hotel within 50 miles, and it was sold out for a Battalion graduation.

Bedbug crawling in my bed at 4:30 am

My daughter and I recently stayed overnight in room 312 and unfortunately, we encountered a serious issue: bedbugs in the room. The hotel appeared decent upon arrival. Check-in was smooth, and the room seemed clean and comfortable, but in need of some updates. However, late into the night, my daughter woke me and said that she noticed some itching and, upon closer inspection, found bedbugs in her bed. We proceeded to check my bed and found a bug under my pillow. This was extremely distressing, as it completely disrupted my sleep and made me concerned about bringing the bugs home with me. I immediately informed the front desk, and asked if they ever had this issue before and they claimed they were clueless. The staff was apologetic, but the only thing that they offered to me was my bill. It was hard to shake the discomfort and anxiety from the discovery. The presence of bedbugs is unacceptable and overshadows any positives that I have always experienced as a Hilton Honors member. I wish I would have seen the other reviews that mentioned bedbugs, I never would have stayed here. As a result of this stay, my daughter and I received numerous bites in our face, neck, arms and legs. This has been a horrible experience!!! I hope the management takes serious action to FINALLY address this issue, as it can severely affect future guests. Due to this experience, I cannot recommend this location until they can assure that this problem has been resolved.

Stayed overnight and woke up with bug bites. Thought they were just mosquitoes but then figured out that they are from bed bugs.

BED. BUGS. And apparently this isn't the first time this has happened. I'm making sure to leave reviews on all their platforms to let everyone know. According to other reviews this isn't the first time, looks like the most recent bed bug incident was in October, but they had more complaints before that too. I was in bed, under the covers unfortunately, and noticed a little translucent bug crawling on my hand. I jokingly asked if it was a bed bug so we were all just staring at it since we really weren't sure. We were just about to brush it off when I happened to look down near the corner of the bed, and there it was. A HUGE adult bed bug. I jumped out of bed scared, moved my pillow and there was another right under it. We tear my bed apart, and there's a lot babies. Checked our other bed and sure enough they had them too. We call front desk, she offered to change our rooms but before we accepted the new room we wanted to check it. The front desk chick gave us a dirty look as if we were ridiculous and replied "Whatever sure I don't care" and threw her hands up. We were not rude at all, it isn't her fault, but she had a major attitude. We got in pretty late and we didn't want to deal with having to look for another hotel. I'm not even going to mention how gross and dirty things look, but beg bugs alone should say it all. I travel very frequently and I've NEVER had this happen, but I also only stay at Mariot so maybe that's why. Seems like this isn't a priority for Hilton and they're choosing to be negligent on not getting this issue resolved. Disgusting.

    Dirty carpet

Awful hotel and very deceiving how it's advertised. Carpets were stained and filthy, curtains torn, walls all dingy, handle for shower broken. All they could offer was a refund. The high ratings must be individuals that are used to roach motels because I don't understand. They shouldn't be allowed to carry the Hilton Honors brand whatsoever!!

Great stay at a decent property! I really really missed having digital key! The young lady at check in was great! Perfect customer service with HEART. Its refreshing to meet another Front Desk Agent that enjoys their job! The overnight clerk was nice enough - it really bothered me when we walked in that he didn't greet us. Our room was great! I appreciated the fact Housekeeping leaves you a laundry basket full of towels, coffee etc even when you hang the do not disturb sign. Great touch! The breakfast was great! Loved the eggs with ham! Really good! The man running breakfast was very professional, polite and always kept himself busy. Overall great stay! Would visit again while in Lawton.

    pool

first, furniture in the room was broken which is fine but definitely not what was paid for. second, the pool looks as if it hasnt been cleaned in months. there where big piles of sand in the bottom, the pool itself was cloudy and the filters werent working because of the sand clogging it.. but they still have it open to the guests like this is acceptable.

We received a king sized room on the fifth floor and it was quite spacious. we did notice that the wood finish on many of the surfaces were chipped, and overall the room was really showing its age. The mattress itself felt like an old spring mattress, and it felt like I could feel the individual springs in the mattress; I didn't get all that great of sleep while I was here because of that. There was no safe in our room that I could find, so we kept our valuables on us at all times. Apart from the rooms, on check in we had some hiccups with the staff who had issues with our check in process, so we had to wait around for 10 minutes while they resolved things. Afterwards, they realized they did not have us do an incidental, so they had to call us to bring us back to the front desk to get it from us several hours after we checked in. They said we could come by at our convenience, but we received two more phone calls within half an hour while we were out enjoying our time. Their mistake became our problem, and we did not appreciate that. Aside from that, the staff throughout the hotel were friendly and welcoming. I felt very happy talking with most of the staff there for anything we needed. The hotel itself is nice, with its common areas and casino area very clean. There was no smoking inside so we enjoyed breathing clean air when we visited the casino. There is a grill that is open many hours of the day there, and a dinner restraint as well is open in the evenings. Is it nearby several restaurants, so food is easily accessible which we really liked. Overall, it was a good hotel, but we're not sure we'd stay here again unless we just wanted to conveniently gamble our whole trip without needing to leave.

There was no signage to indicate this was the SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western. There was a mat that said "Comancheria," so I had to confirm with the Front Desk staff that I was at the right place. The elevator was quite small and couldn't fit that many people or luggage. Instead of having a flat surface/clear pathway to the hotel room, there was a weird rollercoaster type of path that we had to maneuver with luggage. The key card reader to the hotel room didn't work well, and even when it turned "green," the door still had difficulty opening. The hotel room itself was a bit cramped. The toilet made a funny noise throughout our stay (like air flowing through the toilet), and that's without even flushing it. The bathroom counter top was lower than normal standards. The curtains didn't cover the windows completely and light shined through. On the plus side, the hotel's WiFi had a steady connection. It didn't kick you off even if you left the property and returned at a later time. This isn't the worse hotel I've stayed in, but it isn't the best either.

There was no manager on duty during our stay because managers don't work on the weekends at this property. The room smelled heavily of smoke, which triggered coughing for my 4-year-old daughter who has asthma. There was a missing door knob, sinks and the tub would not drain, and visible deterioration of furniture including peeling paint causing lead poisoning. These maintenance and safety concerns were not resolved while we were on property. Additionally, the hotel is under renovation with no notice on the website, and the photos do not accurately reflect the current condition. The experience did not match Hilton brand standards and it actually is a motel experience. I was told my government rate would be honored at check-in, but it was not. I was also told a manager would contact me and that compensation points would be issued. I received neither confirmation nor follow-up. I have photo and video documentation of these issues. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our first room we checked into had a nasty smell to it, and a burn spot on the carpet in the center. Apparently the placard showed it as a smoking room, while the app which I used to do check in via the Hilton app showed all rooms as not smoking. Whether the placard reflected whether guests were actually allowed to smoke, the room smelled bad. We asked the front desk to switch rooms and they were understanding and let us switch rooms easily. Our second room was good. All pictures were taken right before checking out, as we were quite tired when we arrived, so the cleanliness was much better at the start. The kitchenette was a very nice amenity and allowed us to comfortably eat leftovers or delivery in the room. The sitting area was nice, and the door separating the bedroom from the sitting area is a nice feature if staying with additional guests. None of the windows opened, so it made any smells in the room stay for quite some time, which we disliked. The sink area is nice, but the bathroom was a bit outdated in its style, with a combined shower and bath. Reminded me of home. The location is really good if you're trying to get to Fort Sill or the Casino right across the highway, but our destination was the other side of town, so it took us a bit longer than if we had gotten something closer. That's more on us than the hotel's fault. Breakfast was one of the better ones I've had at a Hilton, with oatmeal, breakfast tacos, and the standard eggs and potatoes. Overall, the hotel had some nice aspects to it, but it wasn't anything too special. We paid about $100 a night, which was a pretty decent price, especially for the room to include a kitchenette. It's about as good as you'll get in the area, so for Lawton, fairly good hotel.
