It appears that Nina, who works both as a concierge and a masseuse, expects customers to book exclusively with her, which is rather unfair to the rest of the skilled staff who are excellent at their jobs. It's also a poor setup that she often staffs the front desk, essentially monitoring who comes in and out while keeping score of perceived grievances. I've been a loyal client at MyThai since I moved to Dallas last February, enjoying relaxing, professional experiences that kept me coming back. The therapists are skilled, and the atmosphere is serene. My most recent visit, however, left me shocked. Nina has previously shown visible disappointment whenever I choose someone else. She once quipped if I'd booked with the male masseuse, Chris, "because you like strong male hands?" I'd brushed those off as awkward attempts at humor, but this time she crossed into outright rudeness. After my session with another therapist, I greeted her at the concierge with a friendly "Nice to see you." Her response? A curt "Not me." She then brusquely directed me through the payment process (1.5 hours plus tip, by the way) without any acknowledgment or engagement. As I headed toward the exit, she didn't even offer a simple "thank you", just ignored me. Standing at the door, I asked if it was appropriate to give a paying customer the silent treatment. Her attitude turned confrontational: She shrugged her shoulders and looked at me as if to say, "I didn't give you the massage; I'm just taking your money," then annoyingly pointed at my masseuse, who was cleaning the room at that moment, as if implying, "She has to thank you, not me." This wild and inappropriate behavior has no place at a massage spa that's supposed to offer a relaxing experience. I'm pretty sure Nina's colleagues are noticing this behavior. It's unprofessional and toxic, unfortunately, and it undermines the welcoming vibe that makes MyThai special. read more

I had just completed a half marathon race and was in dire need of a massage cause this 30+ year old body doesn't function the same. I did some googling and stumbled upon this location not really knowing what a Thai massage was at all. I quickly learned what a Thai massage was when starting, using their feet to stand on top of you for 3/4 of the msssage to provide a deep tissue. While at first i was skeptical i was in it already and glad i did it. I felt great after wards and what they did with their feet was amazing. It was a great deep tissue massage on my back and legs, most painful locations that needed tlc. Definitely recommend trying them out very clean, friendly and great services. read more

Sadly, I have nothing good to say about my experience with MyThai Massage. The staff was not friendly. They advertise all these different styles of massage, (Swedish, deep tissue, Thai, mixed, etc.) but I was never asked about that at all. The masseuse kept calling me "honey", which as a grown man it doesn't bother me coming from a middle-aged woman, but it seemed far less than professional (no big deal at all on its own, but it adds to the bad experience). But the actual massage was what made the whole thing terrible. She asked if I wanted her to walk on me, to which I said YES, but that's all she did. She did about 80% walking and the rest was elbows and her whole arm, and almost nothing with her hands. I'm quite sore and visibly bruised today. You can always say it was my fault for not saying "don't do it so hard, stop!", but I kept wanting the massage to go from pain to a soothing, relaxing mode that never happened. She didn't ask once how I was doing, or if it was too much or anything at all. I get the language barrier, etc., but she didn't seem to care at all. In the end I hate giving a bad review, but I know for certain I am absolutely never coming back there again. read more

We stopped at Anaya seafood and saw this place. We called for availability. Picked the 90min combination massage for $110. First I asked if my masseuse would be female. And was informed that all their masseuse were female. Second the rooms are huge and look clean. Bathroom also look neat. It was our first time and they had us fill out paperwork before going back. Unfortunately I did not get the name of my masseuse but she was quite good. she was massaging my arms and she remembered from the paperwork where I stated I had tension and wanted her to focus. We will definitely be back, the massage was very relaxing. If I had to say anything for improvement or a con it would be the room was definitely too cold and the lotion was so cold when it hits your skin. I won't lie I cringe everytime she got more lotion. WOW!!!! All I can say is WOW!!! My husband and I were sore from cleaning out the garage so we decided to go for a massage. Our regular spot was closed so we looked up somewhere close by (Preston area) and found "My Thai Massage & Spa" so glad we did because this was the BEST massage EVER!!! Never had a "Thai" massage, and now I don't want anything other then a Thai massage. My husband and I were both in the same room, nice ambiance and soft lighting. We had two masseuse that asked did we have any particular areas we needed work on. They proceeded to work their magic on our sore bodies, and 1 hour later we floated out to our car. Her communication was very clear, as she lived here for over 20 years. She made sure to ask me where I wanted her to focus and did an amazing job of relieving the pain in my hips and lower back. He pressure was very firm, and she paid close attention to my problem areas. The place is extremely clean, and the rooms are very relaxing.
