Not only was he so sweet w my dog, but he helped me make a Santa Barbara sweatshirt. I wasn't even looking for a sweatshirt! I wore it all last week when we had that cold spell. I wanted to get a couple custom text prints on some of my items and I decided to give this place a shot. I highly recommend checking them out if you want quick custom gear in downtown Santa Barbara. They have lots of different color to choose from including glitter and metallic. Ryan is amazing and very knowledgeable. The process is very and prices are reasonable. I'm also very indecisive so Ryan is patient and easy to work with. I have also washed the items I have gotten a few times now and they have held up great. I came in to print photo on a T-shirt (on Christmas Eve) and it was quick and easy. $20 to print on a white T-shirt, $25 for any other color. $35 to print on a sweatshirt. The lady was super nice and assistive. It took half an hour to be printed, though they forgot to call me that it was ready. It's 1-2 hours for printing on a different colored shirt. I'm not sure if the ownership changed, but they were very helpful and I'd come back. read more

I cannot even begin to express how impressed I am by this store and the people that work there. I discovered them while visiting for Fiesta. Chaos everywhere... But everyone at the store was great. I did not find anything that I wanted right then, but my wife did. The process was quick to select the shirt, the design, and get it pressed to the shirt. I was really impressed with the quality of both the t-shirt and the design as well. So that's where it ends. Yeah, right! I found a design online that I really liked and contacted them the same day by email. I received a response by the next day and after going over some details, we agreed on the final product and I was able to pay over the phone by credit card. I went to N & S Expressions during a Bachelorette weekend. We wanted to get a shirt made for our Bride to be! We were greeted by a super helpful and kind girl! she was helping us out! However when we went over to talk to the girl doing the "designing" she was SO rude! She didnt make eye contact, didnt greet us or show us which designs were available. It was a super simple shirt but for some reason she couldnt get it right. She tried to force me into a design that I did not like. She wanted to force me to pay! (Thank God I didnt give her my card) and She refused to work with us. She was extremely rude! I left the store disappointed with the "designers" attitude and upset that our bride would be without a custom shirt. read more

Harkening back to the 60's, My wife and I are going on a march in DC and leaving in a week. We wanted to get custom T shirts made for the march. I saw the reviews for N & S Expressions, which mostly looked great. We decided to check them out, because frankly, they were the only place in town which was open on weekends, and we thought it might take a week to get it done. My wife called ahead and was informed that 1. They do small orders - like a single shirt, and 2. they could do it in minutes. When we got there we realized we had probably passed by the shop hundreds of times, but never looked in, as we thought it was a typical T shirt shop for tourists. We've lived in SB almost 30 years. We realized one only goes into T shirt shops when you're traveling- not when you're in your home town. In any event, Stephanie, a delightful young lady, greeted us, spent about an hour designing the silk screen with what we wanted for the shirts on her computer, and then printing them on the backs of the shirts we had purchased from the March organizers. The shirts came out great, and we decided to do the same on two sweatshirts. All in all the price was very reasonable, especially given the fact that they spent time helping design the shirts- the design was perfect, and we couldn't be happier. I'm sure they would do a great job with any order, large or small. I would definitely go back if I wanted to print some shirts or hats for a team, group, or an event. read more
