Yelp review 2017 # 111 Sarah and Naomi are two cousins & young enterpenurs that have a bright future . I booked them for my BFF bridal /bridesmaids party in Oceanside. We had 7 girls ( one pregnant who declined) all wanting to have a relaxed atmosphere and get henna done with wine, champs & food. The inital contact was pleasant and informative. Naomi was extremely prefessional and a pleasure to deal with. From A to Z everything was easy & effortless. After explaining the location of our event and inquiring about costs , we were able to utilize a special they were having 2 artists for the price of one. They were willing to work with us by providing 2 artists instead of 1 for 2 hours plus the cost of mileage from long beach to oceanside ( fair enough) and were equally interested in having all the girls have a memorable & enjoyable experience. This was key. She answered all my questions and was able to reach our party even enduring traffic, a flat tire, and a bunch of things that were out of ones control. They made it, with a smile on their faces and ready for the girls to have a memorable experience. They delivered as everyone was super excited to have our henna done. Some of the girls went on pinterest looking for ideas weeks before the event with excitement. They provided a few folders with henna designs to choose from or we had options to find our own and they would do it. Sweet!!! Our group loved the henna and the designs. I noticed that some of the girls had henna darker on their inner palms vs those like myself who had it on the outer hands & feet. I found out later its because those areas where skin is thicker vs thinner ( palms) is where the henna stays longer & darker. I appreciate their work. In fairness, I have to say that while in discussion I specifically asked how long the henna would last, and was told 2-3 weeks. So thats the info I relayed to the group. Unfortunely, my henna only lasted 2 days and the rest of the girls less than a week. We were given instructions for aftercare , and what to do with lotion but I wasnt aware that certain parts of body would be different with darkness of henna etc. I wish this could have been addressed before so some could be aware and have an option of doing the henna on a specific location that would utilize the desired effect. In my case, darker, and longer lasting. Sarah & Naomi have a bright future with their buisness. I have high hopes for them and wish them well. I was going to give 4 but decided 5 because she was prepared and was a pleasure to work with. After reaching out regarding my concerns about the longevity of the henna, she offered to do our group again. Regardless if we take her up on the offer, it was appreciated. For that, its changed to a 5. Overall, You guys did a great job & everyone had fun. This was what the bride wanted to do , and enjoyed herself with her bridesmaids and Im happy. This is probably one of my favorite henna companies thus far! I met Naomi and her partner at a food festival a few months ago. Their set at the food fest was so cute & they were the other body artist there who had LEGIT henna (not that yucky black stuff some knock off henna artists use).
