My muscle tightness was the result of walking the weekend under hot weather and sitting long hours working and watching from a chair. I haven't been exercising for awhile because I'm exhausted from work. Off to the acupuncture clinic to fix my thighs and legs. First step, I get an acupressure massage to relieve some of the tightness before the cupping. Once the cupping was done, then the needles came. Needles are fine and they don't hurt. Just a prick. At the end of the session, I saw how dark the cupping circles were. My acupuncturist was surprised how bad of a shape I was in. I feel some relief that I'm able to get up from my chair without limping like before. Upon leaving, you're given herbal tea to help rid the toxin in your body. If you work long hours in front of a computer for a long time, your body will be in pain. Cupping and acupuncture helped me on my recoveries as I sit for long hours in front of a computer. I've been seeing an acupuncturist for 2 decades to put my health in check.

From the very beginning, Dr. Huang has been incredibly attentive, always asking thoughtful questions about my progress and genuinely caring about my well-being. You can tell he's highly experienced and truly passionate about what he does. I first started seeing him when I found out I was pregnant. Acupuncture helped me tremendously throughout the pregnancy--reducing swelling, relieving back pain, improving sleep, and even helping with constipation (a common and frustrating issue during pregnancy). Emotionally, I felt much more balanced, which I know made a big difference for both me and my baby. When I learned I had to be induced early, he supported me through that process as well. Postpartum, he's continued to help me--especially with emotional regulation, sleep, and overall recovery. During one visit, he even gave me ear magnets to help me relax, which I really appreciated. He's also very flexible with scheduling, and it's easy to see how much he wants his patients to succeed. I believe so much in the benefits that I even convinced my husband to start seeing him--because honestly, I think everyone can benefit from getting their meridian lines balanced, even if you don't know much about acupuncture (like me!). It just works. Another huge plus: he works with insurance and is very prompt about filing claims, which makes everything easier. I'm truly grateful for his care and can't recommend him enough!

It took me a long time to find this place. Lucy and Angel are both great Accupuncturist. I've done massage therapy, Accupuncture, and cupping here. The experience is very enjoyable. They make sure your needs/problems are heard and treated with patience and care. The clinic itself also looks very clean, bright, organized, and professional. I have recommended several friends to here and they've all had positive experience.

They have two clinics, one in San Jose and the other in Cupertino. Both clinics are well organized and very clean. The front desk helper is always very friendly, and the acupuncturists and Tuina therapists are all well trained professionals. My husband had plantar fasciitis about 1 1/2 years ago, the heel pain gave him a hard time to walk as usual. He went to see the podiatrist, but did not really help. He had to stop his daily hiking for almost 1/2 year, till he went to Hongwei for the treatment. Angel used her super Tuina technique helped my husband's heel pain problem after about 6 treatments. I just had a right knee pain problem around the end of year 2021, went to my family doctor and took a X-ray and was diagnosed as arthritis. Again, they could not do anything except suggesting me to take pain killer when I could not stand the pain. Fortunately, I knew Hongwei might be able to help. I started my treatment here on 1/13/22 and went through 4 treatments so far. I felt no pain anymore and it cured my right knee problem. One last thing I like here is it used not only Tuina, but also acupuncture, fire cupping together to help you restoring your body in a natural way; it treats the body as a whole and tries to cure the root problem which causes the pain. I have recommended friends to here also, and they all had positive experiences.

They usually host a small mid-autumn open house free to the public to check out their health products, teas, herbal soups, healthy vegetarian meals, herbal sachets/pouches, and more. It's a great way to introduce the public to Chinese medicine and classes. There's a good library inside for students to check out herbal medicine ingredients and more. There's also a lunchroom with lockers inside for students to place their belongings or lunches. Good culture center feeling with many classrooms and acupuncture sessions. Not bad if pursuing degree or experiences in Chinese medicine knowledge. Staffs are nice people/yes, you can speak in English, but most or all classes are usually conducted in Mandarin-Chinese. They have a Tai Chi class on Sunday evenings for now. Overall, the excursions/programs abroad/volunteering/competitions in medicine are tempting. Good organization for Chinese folks. They should do more marketing to invite the public, especially English speaking people to their classes. Everything is interesting and useful here. Not bad for a small medical culture center in San Jose, CA.

Agela always focuses on the areas that need the most attention, and she explains everything in a simple, clear way. She knows my body so well by now exactly where my sore spots are and her hands are gentle but strong. Her pressure is always perfect. The place is super clean, calm, and smells fresh. They even offer herbal tea, which adds to the relaxing atmosphere. Sarah is also wonderful very warm, friendly, and her massage and cupping work are amazing. Recently, I also met Dr. Chan, an acupuncture specialist on a completely different level. I've been doing acupuncture for more than two years, but this experience was truly different. Her precision, technique, and knowledge are incredible. You immediately feel the difference in the way she works. With Angela's intuition, Sarah's great massage and cupping, and Dr. Chan's advanced acupuncture, it feels like a complete healing team taking care of you. Overall, this is a beautiful place to relax, heal, and feel renewed. Honestly I Highly recommend. 整体来说,这里真的是一个放松、疗愈、让人焕然一新的好地方。 非常推荐

I feel conflicted giving this review but here goes:…read more First of all, the massage itself was a 5/5. My masseuse was Lucy and she was AMAZING. This is not one of those relaxing, soft pressure massages where you leave feeling more or less the same - she put in a ton of work to get out all my knots. I came in with a lot of pain in my back, hips, and legs and she helped me tremendously. However, the office experience was really subpar. I didn't catch the manager's name, but she treated me aggressively and ruined the great experience. I had asked Lucy how much it would cost to upgrade from 60 minutes to 90 minutes since I was taking advantage of the first time customer promo, and the manager immediately started arguing about how there wouldn't be any further discounts because this was already the most affordable massage in the area... then when I went to pay at the end, she stopped me and again argued with me about my tip! I had never had that happen before. She told me that I had to give a minimum of 20-30 dollars tip, otherwise it was an insult to the masseuse... what? Just say you're underpaying your employees.

Hi everyone, Here…read moreis my update. I finally buckled and gave chiropractic a try. I was in horrible pain and it was making it tough to concentrate at work, however now I am feeling great and I thank the staff at Sonie Clinic for it. Dr. Sandhu and Patty treated me for my back pain, radiating sciatica down my left leg and inability to sit. Excruciating pain for sitting especially since I have a desk job. Not all chiropractors are the same. You have your aggressive treatment ones and your more relaxed ones. Let me tell you what happened to me. I started having low back pain and radiating down my left leg. It was like that for two months. I couldn't even sit at work. I tried a few things and it didn't work. Dr. Sandhu advised a non-aggressive treatment that included two visits a week for trigger point therapy and then tapering off to once a week. She found that my pelvis was out of alignment and I think it has been like that for over 10 years and giving me off and on pain for years. Why couldn't my other doctors see that and fix me. Why did I have to live with it for so long? Well I am fixed and pain-free. God, pain is just so annoying. It can drive you crazy. If you are hurting and normal pain management is not working, go see Dr. Sandhu.
