Some of my favorite snacks in Prague

This is a pretty quiet corner pub with lots of locals, mostly male customers. Very simple restaurant but it's nice if you just want to chill and have a few small bites to eat. We got the cheese platter (Brie, blue cheese, and sliced deli Swiss cheese), the fried sausage (with a pile of horseradish, it's good), GET the fried bread with garlic (I would get one order per person). And OMG get the fried potato things with blue cheese, SO GOOD. Really nice cheap place to casually hang

Great neighbourhood pub atmosphere. Smoking section upon entrance and non-smoking section in the back. Staff are friendly and helpful, and food is very tasty. They have great lunch combo deals that are very filling and inexpensive! Over a few days, we found ourselves visiting here a couple of times and was able to try their lunch and dinner menu. Have cash, they don't accept credit cards, yet.

First meal in Czech. If they are all like this, we are in for a treat. Service is amazing and friendly. Ordered the local beer. Perfect!!! The raspberry lemonade was perfect. All of our meals were amazing. Sirloin with cream sauce, goulash, Steak Tartare. The appetizers as well best escargot and potato pancakes and sausage with horseradish. The horseradish is AMAZING!!! You can eat it straight. A definite must eat place.

I go to court for many years and this is simply the best place for that would be the first to try Czech cuisine in this atmospheric place. There are always special offer associated with the Czech holidays, that's cool. Lunch there is better than any praise. Exactly as it was 30, 50 or even 80 years ago. How can you not try a place with a name like that? Saw the bras hanging as we walked in, made me chuckle. We were seated right away, in a small room with a fair amount going on. I picked the Jim Morrison along with the fries and lovely K had the Janis Joplin, also with fries. Both choices were a very good sized portion with a good amount of fries. The JM stated it's spicy, and it was indeed so. The JJ is also a good sized portion, but it had too much going on for K. What really let the meal down was the fries. They were not hot, and had been cooked too long. The outside was crispy with a good crunch, but the interior was not what we were looking for. Could have been epic with nice fries, but they missed the mark by just a bit.
