I have a two point review, first is the level of service from the Manager of the Na Hoku Koloa Kauai store. She was absolutely the best and resolved my issue immediately!! Problem solver, professional and I give her a 5 star rating given my frustration with the product itself. Kudos to her!! The second part is disappointing, I purchased the koa wood cross on May 20th 2026, and six days later the chain clasp broke. Shouldn't happen with so called fine jewelry. Now this wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the fact that this is my second piece of jewelry that I am having issue with. I purchased a Black pearl bracelet in June of 2026, the magnetic clasp broke a year later, I brought it into the same location, they sent it to Honolulu and six weeks later I received the repaired bracelet only to have the magnetic clasp break again. The issue appears to be the quality of the product, I don't know because I read good reviews too, but my experience has soured me on the product if it weren't for the great customer service of the Manager. read more

I visited Kauai with my ladyfriend a few weeks ago to celebrate our fourth anniversary. I searched on Google the top jewelry stores on Kauai, they were ranked #8, they should be #1. I tried some of the other stores first that was ranked higher, majority of them didn't even have a great selection, even the jewelry on their website were N/A @ the stores. I mean what kind of business is that? Totally unacceptable. One of them claiming to be the best of the best has a final sale no return policy, that is ridiculous. Na Hoku overall was the best looking store, and has a selection that is available on their website and in their stores. I thought I was finished reviewing this store and the incredible staff there but I'm not. My order came in today. Came in perfect and as ordered. A ring I ordered turns out to still be a little too large and the store manager, Leilani suggested a half a size smaller and then had a special on a Ko'a Diamond one that is being closed out and on sale. So they located one, the last one in the company In Florida, in my size and it's on its way here now to make sure it's the right Koa color to match my gorgeous bracelet. The earrings I got for my wife's twin sister were perfect. I got my wife a pair and then realized, these were earrings to match a ring their late father got them in high school. I realized I couldn't just get my wife a pair and not a pair for her sister too. She's going to love them as much as my wife does. We're waiting for the ring from Florida to see if it matches my bracelet and then they'll ship all to me in California. Absolutely loved the experience. I'm not one to shop long in jewelry stores - typically due to lack of guidance - but that was not the case, here. From the moment I walked through the door, Dorri was exceptionally helpful. I simply told her my price range and an idea of what I was looking for and within 15 minutes, I was checking out at the register with two beautiful sets of pear earrings. Dorri went out of her way to assist me, and I was very thankful for her professionalism and knowledge of the products she is selling. Super expensive jewelry store with not too many selections to choose from. Staff was okay.

The pieces of jewelry here are outstanding and I find it irresistible to avoid this island themed establishment. What I love best is that they stand behind their product. A few years ago, my wife and I bought anniversary gifts from here. Mine was a watch which I wear almost daily. At some point, the wrist band broke. Naturally, I took it back to Na Hoku (You can do that at any of their stores) and the cashier didn't flinch. They took it, promised me it would be back in a few weeks, and repaired it free of charge. That action has made me a lifetime customer and speaks volumes about this company's integrity.. read more

Normally, I love coming into a Na Hoku, but that's because I normally am in SF and the selection is decent. (Especially since the octopus piece is the cutest thing ever and I'm not talking about the one with the octopus sitting on the pearl. I'm talking about the one where the pearl is his head). But I was a little off-put by my experience. I will say that the jewelers were VERY nice and they were very kind and allowed me to view several of the pieces that I wanted to see. What I did not like was that each of the pieces I looked at were imperfect -- which would have been fine if they weren't trying to convince me that it was okay that it was imperfect. By that logic I'm mostly just paying for the setting and not the pearl. Either way, I was not amused at the selection as it was not very good. I did enjoy their selection of the plumeria earrings, especially since they have the option of having the diamond in the center or having it without. Their gold selection is great, but their pearl selection is slim and not nearly as good. read more

I talk to one of the customer rep on the phone and she had the galls to tell me that absolutely 100% of their products are perfect and they never sell anything that is defective. They are perfect 100% of the times. They definitely have a God-complex; they think that the ring that was damaged or defected during manufacturing process is NOT their fault. Why or how a prong on a brand new ring bend??? They are accusing me of damaging it. More likely that they used a crappy material and design to make the ring and the diamond fell out as a result of that. This woman went on to say that their products are so perfect that they don't have to guarantee any of the products because their products are perfect. I think NOT, they are more like DEFECTED and DAMAGED. Why should I pay for THEIR mistake??? This is how they treat their customers. in other words, as soon as you buy from them they treat you like garbage so do NOT buy from here. This ring will be the first and the last thing I will ever purchase from them. I will be sure to tell EVERYONE I know never to shop here. I wished I would have bought the ring from Maui Divers, who actually has guarantees on their rings. UPDATE: Got my ring back from Na Hoku who wanted ME to pay for their crappy craftmanship. I took the ring to my jeweler and he told me that it was made incorrectly. The prongs are too small to grasp the girth of the diamond; that's why the diamond fell out. It's NOT because I damaged the petal like they claimed. This proves that they have inexperience jeweler making rings and that is why the diamond fell out. DO NOT SHOP HERE. THEY ARE IRRESPONSIBLE, ARROGANT AND HORRIBLE PEOPLE. Good riddance. My jeweler charged me $20 for what they wanted to charge me $160 to fix. SHAME ON YOU, NA HOKU!!!!! read more

I'm not a jewelry buff, but was traveling with several family members who are. They are regular Na Hoku customers and really know their stuff. The staff here made me feel welcome and encouraged me to look around. Some of the designs here are truly unique. Loved the Octopus Cuff in silver. I fell in love with a pair of silver & koa wood earrings. Very happy with my purchase. The fam spent a bundle too! read more
