Good times!! My daughter and I walked by and saw the pick your pearl sign soo of course we stopped by and she got to pick a mystery oyster to see what pearl she would get. It was so fun! The process, seeing her select one from like 20 options, and once she did, they have a nice saying where you bless it before they open it. When they opened the first oyster it had TWO light pink pearls in it! Wow so of course we needed to buy settings for it to be twinsies! She picked a necklace pendant and a chain, great! So Lydia, our sales lady says " I'll give you another oyster to open up for free". Of course we jumped at the offer and once again she picked another oyster thru her process of elimination! The 2nd oyster opened up and had one larger pink pearl so we had 3 pink pearls. We ended up getting a pretty plumeria pendant too! Overall, we had a fun time and left with souvenirs so when we get back home and wear them, we will think of our Kaua'i trip! read more

The last two years on Kauai I've visited Maui Divers. The women that work there are very professional and knowledgeable about their jewelry products. They are very sweet and make you feel like family. I would definitely recommend giving them a visit if you desire beauty jewelry. I'll definitely drop in on my next visit to Kauai in 2026. read more

Everything was such a fun and entertaining experience. My friend and I went twice. Sachie made it so fun for my friend who I was introducing to the world of pearls. We opened numerous oysters and "celebrated" every time. Our wonderful "guide" Sachie was as excited as us every time she opened our oysters. She helped us pick out settings that were both beautiful and affordable to us. I have to go back to the Continental 48 but look forward to my next visit in Kauai with Sachie at the Maui Pearl Divers shop. If you are reading this, Sachie, I'm the one who had 4 oysters in a row with 2 pearls in each!!! read more

I knew what I wanted and went in, asked for it and the woman rudely replied "we don't have those" and walked away. A few minutes later we noticed she was closing for the night. Happened to go by a few days later and guess what?! The exact bracelets I'd asked about were right there. Lots of different styles and sizes of them too. The smallest I could see was about $1950. That wouldn't have been a bad fast sale had she not been rude & in a hurry to leave. The woman today didn't even acknowledge I was there & I stood there waiting for a few minutes. I was on the big island , Kona side , I went into the store , Maui divers jewelry . I already knew what I wanted , 2 gifts for family , I got the first gift a pretty pearl pendant, the second was a little harder finding the right gift . As I looked and discussed the gift with a young girl trainee, she then asked another woman she kept calling 'boss' . I found out the 2 young girls were trainees by this woman boss .. 'boss ' was so rude and inappropriate to me the customer it took everything I had to not cancel the order and walk out . The second order ended up being a special made order that I just got in the mail , it is pretty . However because of the bad taste 'boss ' put in my me , about their customer service , about how Hawaiians really feel about us mainlanders , the next day I went across the street to Na Hoku and spent 4x the amount of money . At Na Hoku they were respectful, professional, and knew how to treat their customers.. I will always give my business to them , I will never go back to that store Maui divers .. read more

My wife went into this store to check out some jewelry. The representative who assisted her was helpful at first until at one point she had this tone where she was indirectly implying that my wife could not afford some certain pieces of jewelry that my wife wanted to look at, and instead offered cheaper options. We left disappointed. We are definitely not going back to this store. Poor business etiquette. read more

Everything is very pricey, so that may be the biggest knock on this place. I did not experience any pushy sales tactics, like other reviewers mentioned, but I think that's also, because I was upfront and said I was there only to browse and nothing more. The saleswoman did show me rings in the $50-$75 interest, but nothing on the lower end caught my interest. The very pretty necklaces and earrings cost an arm and a leg, probably because the pearls and design are unique, despite it having the beachy theme that many jewelers have in the area. It will feel familiar though as they advertise everywhere, so by the time you see it, you think, "Oh, I've seen that before." Yes, probably in a magazine ad in a flight on Hawaiian Airlines. I think this is a place where if you intend to buy, budget about $150-300 and know many of the pieces are of high quality. I didn't get anything, but I think out of all the jewelry stores I saw, this one would be the one that I would have bought from. read more

This is a nice little store amidst the Anchor Cove Shopping Center. We've seen some of their advertisements on Hawaiian Airlines and other locales, so we were inclined to swing by and see exactly what they had. They have a lot of unique pieces meant to evoke thoughts (memories?) of Hawaii. It's almost as if their goal is to sell entirely to tourists based on some of their pieces. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't see anything we wanted to get, but we'd definitely recommend the place. read more

It kinda reminds me of Las Vegas when you get all of those greetings and discounts when you first walk into a place.. or there are prizes to be won... these women are sneaky-- put your best game face on! For 14.95 you welcome a pearl into the world-- they ring a bell.. and then proceed to attempt to get you to spend 500 dollars on a setting.... which btw are gorgeous! I got a pretty pink pearl and the woman tried to get me to spend $600 on a setting.... MEH.. me thinks not...... They do have nice pendants and necklaces etc... And if you open the lock or get a discount on your pearl its fun.... So I paid 7.45 for my pretty pink pearl.. and will be looking for a cheaper setting here on mainland. NOTE: Any place that has a payment plan option-- leave the credit cards at home!! LOL. I will say this--they are the largest importers and the pearls are pretty.. remember game face! read more

Every thing they showed me was out of my price range. Then I was told to look in the close out case. I got the most beautiful Opal at 60% off. At the end of the transaction I could get a free pearl. I choose and oyster That contained a pearl with the most beautiful color I have ever seen. That lead to a mounting for a pendent and a nice chain. Again I could pick out an oyster. That oyster revealed double pearls. They too had beautiful color,and were twins. OF Course I needed amounting for ear rings. I have to say I have never had so much fun at a jewelry store. Lydia was knowledgeable and fun. My next visit to Kauai, Maui Divers Jewelry I will look for Lydia again. read more

The sales ladies working at 7:30pm on 6/25/19 were some of the rudest people I've met. My fiancé and I were looking to buy something, and I guess we look too young to be buying a piece of nice jewelry because they yelled at us saying "Don't touch anything or we will call security". Minus one star (if yelp had one) for rudeness of sales girl with high ponytail - working Thursday afternoon 9/8 and Friday morning 9/9 . Inquired about a type of jewelry they did not carry and was dismissed and scathed at. Don't bother with them and the pearl store associated with them is a sham. How could every oyster have a pearl inside? Bought one from this chain ( they are located in every tourist area) and it fell disintegrated. read more
