This is a desert lovers buffet. It's all in the back, starting with a buffet table on the left wall with trays of jello, banana pudding, fruit and the like. Then across the back wall are about 3 tables full of all kinds of pies, cakes and what have you. Reminded me of the family reunion tables of old, groaning with every relatives most proud desert just waiting to be enjoyed and complimented. Somebody here really likes making deserts and can't decide which ones to make so they make them all. The meal portion of the buffet is pretty good too. Lots of southern style choices. The fried chicken is pretty good and I enjoyed my blackeyes, rutabagas, okra and tomatoes and potato salad. Plenty of choices to satisfy most anyone. Definitely the best restaurant in Fitzgerald. My family and I usually order the buffet. The restaurant offers spaghetti, chicken and rice, burgers, lima beans, & more. Wonderful meals, great atmosphere, really good overall. The only reason I didn't put 5 stars is that prices are getting worse because of food suppliers rising prices. Thrilled!!! The food is fabulous and the service excellent. I was eating a vegetable plate. Nabila came over to my table and asked if I was vegetarian. I told her no, I eat chicken and fish but vegetarian mostly. She said that I should try the fried chicken. She explained she is the cook and she marinates the chicken 24 hours to seal in the flavor and that people come from as far away as Atlanta just for the chicken. Therefore I had to try it. I saw or rather tasted why people come from afar. Nabila also explained that all of the vegetables were fresh and that the water, including the ice was filtered. I live 200 miles away but I'm coming back. Excellent and the price is extremely reasonable for an all you can eat super buffet. read more

On Monday 06/13/2016 me and my father in law were riding through Fitzgerald Ga. looking for a place for lunch. We were on a motorcycle trip and just rolling through the area. I found Nabila's by accident and when I saw the name was figuring it was a tofu, bean sprout salad kind of place. We walked in and were greeted warmly by the host and he seated us and told us to help ourselves to the buffet. Nabila's has a great rustic look and feel to it. Sweet ice tea that was perfect and when I saw the buffet it was like seeing all those great southern foods I grew up eating. Beans, greens, black eyed peas, fried chicken, salisbury steak, grits and fried shrimp. Did I mention desserts? They were so many cakes, pies, and puddings. Delicious. The food did not even need salt or pepper, everything was perfect. Nabila came to our table gives me a hug and gives my father in law a kiss on top of his head. We chatted about her place, and she took the time to make us feel at home and treated us like old friends or family. Nabila's outstanding quality and customer service is a rare gem these days with so little common courtesy available today. I am going to stop any time I am in this area. read more

One Sunday afternoon during last year's Christmas road trip through the Deep South, we found ourselves famished, driving, and not quite sure where to go. As we drove down the quiet (almost eerily quiet) streets of Fitzgerald, Georgia, it began to seem like our only hope was to try and find yet another Waffle House... and then, there was Nabila's. Walking in, I was greeted by cheerful servers and a clean, spacious, well-lit restaurant. It was an inviting experience from the very start, definitely good for families as well as groups of friends. Where do I even start with the buffet? A salad bar with every important option for salads, a vast array of main courses and sides (definitely enough vegetarian options for a vegetarian to get their full here just as well as a carnivore) with an emphasis on southern standards (okra, black eyed peas, that amazing fried chicken), cornbread and biscuits, CORNBREAD AND BISCUITS, and so many desserts that I did eventually have to concede that I could never try every single thing in the restaurants. Everything was comforting and satisfying and delicious, and staff and patrons alike seemed happy to be there. I cannot recommend Nabila's enough. read more

Incredible Southern food! I had the fried chicken, collard greens and baked mac & cheese. All three were perfect. This was probably the most delicious lunch I have had in years. My new favorite restaurant! Stopped in for lunch and could not believe the food and service. Before my glass was even half empty the friendly staff filled it up. The waitress was nice and very helpful. The atmosphere was unexpected. There is a nice waterfall and the place is very clean. As for the food everything was fresh and great. The variety of different dishes and abundance of food was amazing. I sampled just about everything on the buffet and the freshness and taste was outstanding. The desserts were better and more varied than any other restaurant than I have ever been to. The only negative is that I don't live close by. I hope this restaurant is around for a long time. read more
