    NAEF garden ambience

NAEF Cafe is a hidden gem in the town of Punta de Mita. The zen like ambience set in an outdoor garden is quiet and beautiful. The food is varied and delicious. We loved the black ink squid risotto! Our waiter was attentive and helpful in making suggestions. We enjoyed our specialty cocktails made with hibiscus, pineapple and tequila!

We had an amazing evening at Naef! Calming and personal eating experience, we loved Felipe! Try Naef if you visit Punta Mita!

The food and the staff were impeccable. We absolutely loved our meals here. The pancakes are amazing, coffee hit the spot and the smoothies and chia pudding were beyond expectations! The front is unassuming so, you could easily miss it if not looking closely. We have been told that their ice cream is some of the best ever. We will be back many times for breakfast and ice cream!

A bit difficult to find, this cafe is a delightful surprise once you find it! Tables are beautifully set in a garden setting. I was in search of good coffee and was thrilled to find Naef Cafe. The food is healthy and quite civilized; fresh ingredients and a menu that would satisfy the health nut. The cappuccino was top notch as was the mango smoothie and vegetable omelet. BEST ESPRESSO in town.

Such a cool space & atmosphere. I was studying for law school exams while in Punta Mita, and Naef was the perfect tranquil location to study in the mornings. Great attention goes into making and plating the food.

It's a really cute place, peaceful and has a great atmosphere. Everything we ordered was delicious and tasty! Service was a little bit slow but it's not a big problem, other than that, it's a great place to have breakfast.

Hidden Jewel. Worth coming back daily. Great coffee, pastries and the ice cream is out of this world. It's hard not to love something that done with so much love.

This was a great find! Very cozy atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious. Even the presentation was beautiful. The waiter was so friendly and accommodating. They also make their own ice cream. Great to try even for breakfast. There was mango lassi on the menu which is an Indian drink, the chef has mastered it! It was very authentic! Must try .

We felt right at home while also being clearly in a well curated and maintained restaurant. The food is outstanding! The first Amuse-Bouche course of Broccoli Soup was very tasty. Next we had the Tiradito, which was really good but a tad heavy on the sauce. I know it was supposed to be more of a soup and it was definitely good. The Pork Belly Gordita with Oaxacan Cheese was amazing. We also enjoyed Prawns in Mole Sauce with Cheese sprinkled on top, which was excellent. The House Made Pasta with Vegetables was delicious though again a little heavy on the sauce. The New York Strip was very good and cooked perfectly but a little fattier than I'm used from a New York cut. To end the evening, we had Churros with Caramel and Chocolate Sauces alongside a scoop of really good and creamy Vanilla Ice Cream on a bed of what seemed like refined Oreos. Everyone who greeted us and waited on us was super nice and attentive. This was one of the best meals we had in Punta Mita.

A delicious tequila spritz to start of our dinner, which was cool and refreshing for the warm night! The Gordita was a great bite that is able to be shared if you just want a bite. Textures meshed well together and the flavors complimented each other well. The star of the show is the short rib! Worth the splurge. Fell apart with one touch of the fork and it was paired with a light and creamy mushroom risotto. The service was impeccable and we were taken care of the whole night! The churros were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside complimented with a sweet vanilla ice cream.

From start to finish, this was by far our favorite night of vacation... When I called to make our reservation, I was greeted by Valentina. She recommended a seat at the sushi bar, and of course, we said "si"! Little did we know that we would be seated in front of head sushi chef, Yosuke, several hours later. We were in awe watching him prepare all kinds of sashimi, nigiri, maki and more... He also chatted it up with us and made us feel so welcome-- almost like guests in his home. What an honor! We also met Chef Name who we learned was a former sumo wrestler! Service was fabulous but the food was the star of the show... we enjoyed every bite we took ranging from salmon, yellowtail, soft shell crab, scallop, lobster, and tuna caught that same day. We cannot wait to return to Si Sushi on our next visit to PV... until then, I do t think any sushi we have will compare.

I'm happy to say that we can now add a fourth to the exceptional category. What a fantastic experience with Si Sushi last night. We were seated at the bar right in front of our chef and basically got an Omakase and great conversation as we enjoyed our anniversary dinner. Chef started with a presentation of all of the fresh fish, both flown in and locally caught. He then walked us through many courses including red snapper, blue fin, amberjack, uni, sea bass, hamachi, and more. No soy, no wasabi, just perfectly prepared bites brushed with nikiri. We finished off, we thought, with a bowl of house made ginger ice cream. After that was an anniversary surprise and a serenade by a mariachi band. What a night, ten stars.

We decided to dine here on our first evening in Punta Mita and it was an enjoyable meal. The place was a little loud if I'm being honest, but the sunset view quickly made up for that. The staff were especially nice and attentive. We started with the Chips and Guacamole, and the guacamole was exceptional. Next up was the Tuna Carpaccio which was fantastic. We then had fresh Baked bread with a very tasty spread, the Burrata and Greek salads. My better half really enjoyed the Greek salad most of all while I leaned more towards the Burrata. She had the Grilled Fish, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The kid had the Beef Tenderloin and he really, really liked it. I had the New York Strip, which was good but not great. Everything was a little heavy on the olive oil TBH. The Baklava and Pistachio Ice Cream dessert was pretty good, but the Baklava was quite dry.
