Extra Clean dining area and kitchen ! Fresh Food, Delightful Space, Easy & Full of Community. Really happy to have another option in Old Town PV. Truly genuine good efforts and it all shows. Thank you for bringing a special cafe to PV. The food was tasty, fresh, and cooked to my likening! Two short blocks, Very near the Rio Cuale Art walk area and within a walking neighborhood. Good to see all the local shops, community, and catch a glimpse of the Church and Art along the river. I often eat here for breakfast but they are open for Chef Specials and friends have dined & enjoyed for the Holiday Specials the serve. Extra note: The Chef, Angel, for several years has prepared & served at many well known Villas here in PV and is a very respectful & young gentleman adventuring to his own restaurant. And his business partner Miriam speaks English and Spanish very well and is an extra polite host and very observant with the orders and presentation of food.

What a treat!! On a whim, my son and I popped in here for breakfast. It was raining and basically we wanted to get inside. The cafe is small and unassuming but our experience was far more than that! We were quickly seated and greeted by or server/cashier/possible owner. She seemed to have more invested in the business than an employee. She was super friendly, graceous and professional. We each ordered the yogurt, granola and fruit plate. It was the perfect start to our day. The check presentation begs for another star in the rating. It was served up in a small bowl, rolled up like a paper horn with the small end sitting in a shell , Super impressed!

Amazing food and drinks! I've made Cafe 449 my number 1 to go places for breakfast/lunch while in Puerto Vallarta. Friendly staff, great service and chill atmosphere! Location is great and their wifi is on point to take business meetings! Totally recommend it! I'll definitely be back.

They had bottomless coffee and a bunch of freshly squeezed juices which was a great start. Obviously, I had to order pancakes at a place called the Pancake House. I expected them to be good, but wow...they ended up being some of the best pancakes I've ever had. Thick, fluffy, and somehow perfectly soaked up the syrup without getting soggy. It was a stack of three and looked like way too much at first... but I genuinely couldn't stop eating them. My boyfriend got the French toast, and I barely managed to sneak in one bite before it disappeared but that one bite was incredible! I get why he didnt want to share it lol. The service was quick and super friendly. We were joking around with our waiter the whole time which made it even better. The whole place has a really cute vibe too with plants everywhere. Honestly, it was the perfect last meal and such a great way to spend our final morning. I'm definitely going to be dreaming about those pancakes for a long time.

We ordered the chilaquiles and they were so good, definitely a must. We also got a side of habanero sauce, which had great flavor and just the right kick. The refried beans were delicious, the French toast was good, and the coffee was served hot Only downside: they don't accept cards, but they do take U.S. dollars. Still worth it!

I ended up eating here 3 times during my stay at the hotel (see separate review). I was the only one eating late afternoon lunch while waiting for my room to be ready. The Mahi-Mahi Fish & Chips was breaded differently than any I've had before, but it was good and the fish was not overdone. They didn't have malt vinegar but the vinegar provided was ok. Corona beer at about 80 pesos was cheap compared to US. Intrigued, I tried the vegetarian Green Omelet for breakfast. Green olives, zucchini, avocado, you get the picture. It tasted better than it looked. For dinner, Tortilla soup was good but a bit too salty for me. I'm not sure what "Artisan Pasta" means, but the Artisan Fungi pasta was excellent; along with the cream sauce, it was probably the best tasting I've ever had! Loaded with mushrooms! The martinis were also pretty cheap at about 79 pesos. So cheap I had 2. The wait staff was very attentive. Food took a bit longer to arrive than I expected, especially since I was one of two guests eating there during my meals; however, the next time I'm in the area, even if not staying at the hotel, I'd definitely stop by for more Artisan Pasta.
