Took my girlfriend here a few days ago and was curious what to expect. Great food!!! I ordered the Schezuan chicken and she had the chicken lo mein. Both were cooked perfectly! I'd usually probably complain a little about the disposable cutlery and plates, but the interior of the restaurant is so stylish and nice, the seats are large, clean, and comfortable, and as the others have noted, the owners are excellent and provide prompt, courteous service. I'm going back the first chance I get to try the Hunan chicken!! It was a good price and we were both fully satisfied. Full marks! read more

I really don't like to write a bad review, but this was not good sushi. The problem is that the rolls are almost ALL rice with very little fish. That's not how a sushi roll should be made. Try using fresher fish, larger portion in your rolls ; you'll spend more for the fish , but you'll attract far more customers. People don't order sushi in order to get a carb load. On the plus side, the service was quick. Please take this as constructive criticism. read more

I really contemplated giving Nagoya four stars because the atmosphere is just plain awkward. There is no music so it it extremely quiet, especially if you are the only table dining in. Their new location looks awesome and the food is just as good. You can get hibachi, Chinese and awesome sushi. I am a huge sushi fan (used to work at a sushi joint) and this place is great. What brings me back to this place is that it's consistent. I can't put into words how great the sushi tastes and that their portion sizes are what they should be. (Not everything is great bigger.) The menu is varied enough that I can find something I'm in the mood for - but often find myself getting at least one of the same rolls as I always do. Give their wonderful roll a shot! read more

The nagoya roll was the bomb! The California roll was perfect. I also got the specialty roll #8. It was different, maybe too much cucumber but regardless it was good as well and something new. The rolls were fresh. I think some were smaller then some other sushi joints. Overall good prices and yummy food. Please post more pictures for these guys. Vegetarian options I saw: miso soup, vegetable roll, avocado roll, cucumber roll, Sweet potato roll and Sweet potato with mango roll(super awesome, especially when is served warm) and when i'm really hungry I love getting the Mongolian bowl. I ordered an Alaska Roll, Cali Roll, & Godzilla Roll. First, the sushi was warm and came very messy. When you order sushi you expect it to be cold and fresh - these rolls were not that. I was very disappointed in the quality of the rolls. They offer a free Miso soup and drink when you order two hand rolls ... the Miso soup was lamentable. I would not even consider it soup, it was just a little broth in a cup! No veggies or anything. The Godzilla roll was tasty but seemed too fried and was very heavily sauced which takes away from the authentic flavor. This place is not it and they need to step their game up with sushi that is actually fresh and made proper. Overall very disappointed. Please make some positive changes. read more

The food was warm... I ordered sushi. I wasn't not happy when I received warmed sushi. The packaging was absolutely awful on top of the sushi being warm the sushi was falling apart. I order a California roll and it came with No crab meat. I also ordered a ginger salad, nothing too wrong with it, other then it tasted bad. When I called the store to stress my concerned the lady was very rude and denied everything I said and tried to tell me I was wrong. I am absolutely disgusted. I just wanted to bring my food back and have them make me a new roll that was cold and neatly made. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

Had two take out meals from Nagoya Friday night---and one was Sweet and Sour Chicken---the sweet/sour sauce was ok, but I fully expected that the gobs of fried batter would have chicken inside---but NO, not a one of them had ever seen or been by a chicken. Perhaps they thought we wouldn't notice--we did have soup and rice to go with--but alas, it was very evident. Won't be going there again. The fired rice was good. Very disappointing. The sushi is not fresh or even tasty. The sushi rice is bland. I got I'll from either the salmon or crab and they still tried to charge me full price for my lunch. Given that it was lunch, it's possible no one else got sick yet but it hit them later. I will not be going back. read more

I'm not really sure what the chicken is because it definitely DOES NOT taste like it. The miso soup is more like chicken broth in a mug. And they don't have yum yum sauce to at least try to make the lo mien have a taste. Don't think I'll be coming here again. read more

The food was not just disappointing it was disgusting and quite child like, for starters they use instant miso soup which is quite apparent from the fact that they serve it to you in a cup. The Kung Pao chicken was oily and greasy and disgusting, what little chicken was there was cut so tiny as to hide the fact they put next to no chicken in it. To add injury to insult they served her dish and a small boat shaped container and a separate book shit container for the rice so heaven for bid you might want to mix them together.
