Never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine the existence of a Thai restaurant like this one. It…read morewas like finding a needle in a haystack. The building itself was not that impressive, nor the furniture inside, nor the interior design; but it was a clean, cozy place where you felt at home, relaxed and comfortable. The server welcomed me with open arms, and immediately she made me feel at home. After a warm greeting, she started a conversation to find out how familiar I was with Thai Cuisine and to see if I needed help choosing popular items from the menu. The menu, that had around 12 pages of a great selection of entrées, some of which were highlighted by having their photographs next to them, thus helping the customer get a better sense of the dish itself. To start off with, I ordered a Thai Iced Tea. And after stirring it like I was told by the server when she brought it out to me, literally I tasted heaven. It was not only the best tea I've ever had, but one of the best tasted drinks I've ever tasted. So much so, that I thought to myself, I have to come here again, if only just to enjoy this tea again. As appetizer I ordered the Pork Egg Roll. For my meal I ordered the Pad Thai Shrimp and the Pad Ka Paow (pork) Over Rice with Two Fried Eggs. Both dishes tasted so good. Even the fried eggs over the rice were fried to perfection, just how I like them. Take a look at my photographs accompanying my review and you will see what I mean. While I was waiting for my food to come out, that by the way didn't take long, the owner of the restaurant came out to graciously welcome me to her restaurant which I was visiting for the first time, putting her two hands together and bowing her head. She was one of the friendliest and hospitable persons that I have ever met. Being a Friday evening, the restaurant started to fill up with repeat customers, takeout customers, and even native Thais who came in very friendly and greeted the employees like if they were regulars there. For dessert I had the Mango with Sticky Rice, and they also brought me a complimentary plate with Fried Banana and Fried Taro. All this seems like a lot of food but I took the leftovers home to have for tomorrow. I highly recommend this restaurant to all of you who are reading my review. You will have a dining experience like none ever before. You will fall in love with the Thai Cuisine. And I can almost assure you that, like me, you will make this restaurant one of your favorites.

We stopped in Blacksburg for an overnight stay and I was desperate for something to eat that wasn't from a bag at that point of the evening. If you know me, you know I'm always in the mood for Chinese food and if it's Sichuan, I'm at absurd levels of contentment. Spicity is a swell little spot in a strip mall and has plenty of seating. With it being right after New Years and at the end of winter break, it was very quiet and blissfully empty (I'd had enough of holiday crowds), as was literally every other restaurant we passed in town. It's spacious, has plenty of seating and has a pleasant atmosphere, if a little bright for my liking. Not that I cared because dry pot is on the menu! I started with a tofu ribbon app that is absolutely delicious (not spicy to me, but I think it had a little chili oil). And the cabbage hot pot, which I ordered extra spicy and they delivered! The bits of tofu skin made it even better. While I wasn't a huge fan of it being overwhelmed by bell peppers, I feel like it's one of those things I'd be able to adjust if I came back (perhaps next year?) They get major bonus points for being open late, too. Looks like delivery is until 9 but the restaurant is open til 11 on Fri/Sat, 10 on Sundays and 10:30 all other nights. Driving through so many small college towns, I'm seeing so many places that are only open until 8:30 or 9.

The dry pot frog was great; the frog had a nice and crispy crust, and it was not too spicy! The service was good (4/5); our waited was friendly! I ate here all the time in college, and years later I still haven't found Thai food that hits quite the same. The ambiance is great, not too formal but still great for a date night. The food is consistently amazing. You really can't go wrong, but my personal favorites are the pad thai, panang curry, drunken noodles, and the fried rice. Everything is flavorful, comforting, and exactly what you want after a long day exploring or reminiscing in town. What makes this place even more special is the staff. They are unbelievably kind and welcoming whether you're there every week like I was during college or just stopping in every few years like I do now. They have also always been incredibly accommodating with my mushroom allergy, which I really appreciate. The fact that they even remembered me years later honestly says everything about the level of care here. Lexington may be a small town, but Napa Thai is truly a hidden gem and one of the places that makes coming back feel so nostalgic. If you're in the area, it's absolutely worth a visit

I had the basil duck with a spice level of 5 that automatically came that way. I would have went atleast 8 or 9, 5 isn't spicy at all but I wasn't given the option. Veggie rolls were ok, I do like they came cut in half. Service was pretty slow for it being empty. I would come back but I will check other places out first.
