I got a gift certificate here from my husband for my birthday. I did not have an appointment but walked right in with no problem. I only had to wait about 5 mins. They did not have a menu or price list that I could look at so I had to ask the guy that was sitting by the front. He said regular mani pedi was $33. When I got in the chair, the woman handed me a menu with the different upgrades for the pedicure. I chose the top one which to me wasn't much of an upgrade, it just looked like she used a special kind of lotion. I did not enjoy the leg massage because all she did was move her hand up and down my thigh with her thumb pressed into my shine bone. I don't think it was worth it next time I will probably just do one with no upgrades. For the manicure I decided to upgrade to gel french. Again the hand massage left a lot to be desired but at least it did not hurt like the leg massage. Overall it was $69 for everything. I did not feel pressured to upgrade and the work was fabulous. The place was clean and everyone was very friendly. They don't let you tip on the card so be sure to being cash for the tip. I will return! read more

I used to absolutely love this place! Prices were great, service was quick and efficient. I've been coming here for years because John and Sunny are so talented! Sadly I've been very disappointed when I've come the last few occasions. Prices are unpredictable, they charge you differently for each stylist and I believe key in different amounts to get whatever they want out of you. What used to cost me 60 now costs me 80 and I always want to tip! so more like 100, but now since they are choosing prices I feel less inclined as if they are trying to make up for a tip in the cost already. Sometimes i just feel like im getting scammed with variable prices like that. I really never complain because i've always loved this place but idk what happened. I've tried a few times and every time is worse. The last - and final - time they only soaked my nails for 5 minutes and then used the nail drill to remove the gel, never changing to a smaller bit so the nail beds are ragged and toast. I come here 2 times a month and have sunny as my nail tech and have never had a problem today I had daisy and she did an awful job to say the least. I asked for square nails and 1 hand is square while the other is coffin because she put a nail on completely crooked and tried to cover it up. Mean while all 10 nails are 10 completly different lengths nothing done today was at all by tbr normal standard from sunny and I got plain color but yet was charged for a design I didn't get. I am sure that your experience will be unique as with in all salons/spas. They are mainly based on what time you go and what tech you get. Reading some of the reviews I understand that it varies a lot here. My last two visits have been pretty positive. The first time I came, it was on a Sunday about an hour before close. I was debating getting my nails done before a big vacay and waiting until the last minute. When I arrived, the head guy took me right away. There were a few customers already there. I got a pedi first and then a gel mani. My tech told me I came at a good time. He lined the pedi spa with plastic and I was happy to see that sanitary measure. I got a mid-priced pedi, which included a callous remover and scrub. He didn't rush me through. Don't you hate when you're trying to relax and they rush you through? Anyway, he did a gel mani after. A lady nearby realized she forgot her purse. My tech (head guy) told her it was fine if she came back tomorrow to pay. He said it happens sometimes, and he wants to keep good clients. She appreciated that. I did too. I was disappointed that my gel mani didn't last very long before peeling off. Maybe two to three days. But I gave them another chance. I went again before a short Ocean City trip for a polish change. ( I had gotten a full pedi a week before elsewhere and it was looking rough). This time I got another guy. He carefully removed the remaining gel polish and re shaped/filed my nails. Some places won't do this with polish change. He applied an OPI gel polish. It has been durable. I've washed dishes, been in water, and picked crabs. Still no peeling. So far so great. read more

Normally, I don't have bad experience at this place, but this time it was the worst the lady knowingly, almost put nail polish on my nails even though there was gel still on my hand when I just said, I just want you to soaked them off she was just angry with me. Even in the beginning she was rude to me pushing my hand down even when they were down at that point my nails are very weak so they could have broke off. If they are busy I suggest not to bring a client back until an available nail technician is available and not have them bouncing between 2 clients at the same time. I've come in with lots of Pinterest ideas and they have always been accommodating. Went here for the first time while I was visiting my family, and we made appointments for mani/pedis. Not only was I told they offered a service that they really didn't (ombré style nails- they told me they could do this only to get me in the door and take my $$, they then tried to convince me to paint my nails a certain color/style instead, only in their best interest and to rush me out), but they did a horrid job on my pedicure (used a top coat that was previously used on someone else's still-wet red polish that left a residue on my nails), and I was there for over 2 hours for a simple fill and pedicure. On top of that, my family member was left "soaking" for her pedicure for over 40 minutes without anyone even introducing themselves, greeting her, or telling her what her estimated time of service would be. As a professional in the industry I have higher standards than most but I draw the line when a licensed professional can not even preform a basic manicure properly. I am grateful that I brought my own supplies as I noticed them using the same implements from person to person without proper sanitation. Besides the horrid paint job that I received, I wasn't even offered a hand massage with my full priced manicure. I have been going here regularly over the last few months for gel manicures. Vincent and Amy are both amazing, pay super close attention to detail and are very friendly. Amy is very talented with designs. The gel that they use is high quality, lasting a full three weeks with no chips. I only have it changed because my nails grow out, never because of chipping. Appointments aren't necessary, but if you want to ensure that you get Vincent or Amy, make an appointment a couple of days ahead of time in case they get busy. read more

This is the worst place ever. The owner is the rudest nasty woman I ever deal with. I got my nails done and it was night time and the bill was 80 dollars and she demanded I pay with cash!! I told her it was raining and I would just like to pay credit card and she said walk to the bank and then I told her I would get even more charged it's not my bank. So she let me pay credit card and then said to pay her the tip in cash!!! Wow and she is the owner!!! Now I know why everyone says don't come here. She is rude to her employees to I speak Vietnamese. Well I have been back to Nail Care and Spa three times within a week trying to get my nails to look like they should after getting your and if acrylic fill on your nails with gel nail polish never have I ever had my nails looks so horrible in my life first the lady that originally did my nails did not touch my pinkies whatsoever except for to go over them with acrylic she did not take any part of the nail off in the beginning before she added acrylic which if anyone knows anything about getting their nails done that is not supposed to happen they are supposed to get at least a little bit of nail where's your nail grew out exposed so you can get a fill in correctly and it actually stay. The within the first 3 days my nails we're all scratched up you could see the brush Strokes from the nail polish on my right hand which I showed her the nail technician when I went into their store 4 days after and my right hand Pinky was broken off completely starting from my cuticle which it should not have happened if she would have remove any nail off in the beginning near my cuticle on my pinky when I got my nails filled in those few days before I would have not been back there then the following day I had to return because that night the other hand the same thing happened with the same exact finger just on my left hand I go back and I asked it to get fixed and like I said when I went in the first place to get my right hand Pinky fixed I told the lady that my nail polish was horrible especially if it's supposed to be gel nail polish never in my life have I ever had such horrible work done and I asked both times I was in there who had a Fresh coat of paint done due to my nails not looking the same on any of my fingers and they are all one color supposably the horrible thing about all of this is in the beginning when I first got my nail fill done I gave a tip when I came back in from my right hand pinky I gave a tip but when I asked can I pay to get a Fresh coat of paint and they start laughing and walk away from me what they only do it for certain people they are so freaking ignorant it's ridiculous when I was in there getting the original work done on my nails there was a lady that came in and had the same issue were One Nail broke and asked for a Fresh coat of paint she said she was willing to pay and everything they denied her payment and gave her what she wanted with no issue why did I get discriminated against what did I do to deserve that am I really that different just because my skin white you don't want to treat me right or just because it took me a minute to make my first original decision on the color of my nails you didn't like it oh well I went on to the next person available and I was okay with that I was okay with waiting each time I was there I was okay with waiting I didn't care but when you deny me of service because you don't want to take the color off that is dead wrong originally I was told that this was one of the best spots and Westminster I now know did their arrogant and they think that day can treat people any way they want because I guess of rich people come in there I don't know I don't know the reason why they treated me so differently maybe because they seen that I'm bisexual I don't know but the discrimination has got to stop it's bad enough that they sit in the room and talk in another language while we are there knowing we don't understand them and we know that they're talkin about us that is just dead wrong I don't know how much more I can take being discriminated against in Westminster Maryland he's arrogant people need to live actual life real actual life and see how it is then everyone well see how arrogant they actually really are read more

I came here to get a mani/pedi on a 30 min time limit. The girls said no problem but when I sat down with my pedi girl she flipped out about my time constraint and said she couldn't do both in 30 mins. The other girl offered to do my mani at the same time to save on time. When she soaked my fingernails the pedi girl said No soak, later soak and yanked the bowl of water away. She was extremely rude and did a make shift job on my pedi. This is the second time I've had horrible customer service here. When I'm used to amazing treatment at spas in Chicago, coming back to this is a huge disappointment. read more
